Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 1027: I’ll Accept Any Terms
After fussing over her for half an hour, they finally got her changed into the newly found dress.
Summer Sutton was then escorted downstairs by a few maids.
As she came down, Manuel Ink was sitting on the sofa, seemingly waiting for her.
"Too..." Summer Sutton walked towards him, habitually wanting to call him by her usual nickname, but stopped herself, sensing it might be too disrespectful.
"Mr. Ink!" She changed her address and nodded slightly to him.
The change in address seemed to catch Manuel Ink off guard for a moment.
Turning his face, he looked at her, his eyes flickering with a hint of displeasure.
Summer Sutton hung her face lightly, unaware of his expression.
She stood rather far from him, maintaining a respectful distance every time she met him.
This demeanor made Manuel Ink furrow his brows subtly.
"Mr. Ink, I have something very important that I need your help with." Summer Sutton kept her face lowered, carefully choosing her words.
"Sit down!" Manuel Ink disregarded her words, merely gesturing towards the sofa opposite him.
Summer Sutton obediently walked over and sat down across from him.
After sitting, she again brought up the purpose of her visit, "Someone very important to me has sustained a very severe leg injury, from a plane accident. We’ve consulted many hospitals and gathered a lot of information, but there have been no results."
"I heard that the Ink Family has experience in treating such injuries. I came to seek Mr. Ink’s advice." Summer Sutton briefly explained the situation, raising her face to look at him earnestly, "You are the only one who can help me right now. I hope you agree to my request."
Manuel Ink listened quietly to her words, squinting his eyes, quietly watching her.
What kind of person could be so important that she would travel alone all the way from Northtown and wait outside for a day and a night?
He just looked at her without responding, which made Summer Sutton anxious. She grabbed his hand in haste.
In her urgency, she forgot all the proprieties, her address reverting to her spontaneous nickname, "Sun, I know the Ink Family must have undergone extensive medical research and invested a lot of money and effort when treating Old Master Ink’s injury. I won’t let the Ink Family help for free. Whatever reward the Ink Family requires, I’m willing to offer!"
The whole world’s methods haven’t been able to treat such severe leg injuries, and the Ink Family is the only known example.
Summer Sutton guessed that the Ink Family must have invested a considerable amount of money to heal Old Master Ink.
To be able to heal, there must have been countless experiments and failures before achieving success.
Summer Sutton thinks that, with Morningview Group behind her, she is not short of money; she can pay for half of the Ink Family’s past research costs for the treatment plan.
Manuel Ink continued to gaze at her, slightly pondering her words.
Summer Sutton watched him closely without blinking, observing his reaction.
Manuel Ink stayed silent for a long time after her words, not yet speaking, when suddenly an elder’s voice rang out in the hall, "What kind of reward do you intend to give? Money? Do you think the Ink Family appears to be the kind of people who crave money?"
