Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy
Chapter 365: "You kissed me so you should take responsibility."
As the white fluff scattered across the room, Luo Muchen had had enough. He seized the opportunity and swiftly moved, pinning Qie Xieling’s arms above his head. Looking down at Qie Xieling his voice cut through the chaos.
"Are you done?" he asked angered by the disaster around him. He couldn’t stand how filthy the room looked.
His gaze suddenly shifted downwards and he was met with Qie Xieling’s dishevelled clothes. They were both men and he shouldn’t care about it but his eyes lingered on the smooth skin with patches of redness from the scuffle just now.
For some reason, he was drawn to it. Qie Xieling’s masculine chest was rising and falling beneath him and he suddenly had the urge to run his fingers down and take a look underneath the fabric.
Qie Xieling saw a flicker of that familiar look in Luo Muchen’s eyes. His lips curved into a sly smile and without warning he freed his wrist from Luo Muchen’s grip and placed his hand at the back of his neck before pulling him down and kissing his lips.
Qie Xieling closed his eyes his soft lips pressing against Luo Muchen’s. Luo Muchen’s body jolted. It was like his heart had stopped for a second. He could feel Qie Xieling’s hand rubbing the back of his neck his breath shallow and warm.
Luo Muchen felt dizzy, he had never kissed anyone before more especially a man, yet... it felt good, too good. His mouth moved on its own and he kissed him back.
He suppressed the hatred he had for Qie Xieling deep down as he kissed him. He felt this hunger that he had never felt before. It was like he had been suffering from extensive thirst for milleniums but he wasn’t aware of it until now.
Lost in the kiss his hands began to move in exploration. He touched Qie Xieling’s waist and ran them up his body such that he could feel his warm skin. It was smooth and it made his fingertips tingle.
"Nn..." Qie Xieling let out a soft moan.
The sound snapped Luo Muchen back to reality. He pushed Qie Xieling away and Qie Xieling’s head hit the floor with a thud. Seeming distraught by his loss of self-control Luo Muchen got up and touched his lips with his trembling hand. He glared at Qie Xieling with his bloodshot eyes.
Qie Xieling was rubbing the back of his head cursing from the pain. He sat up while complaining, "Mu Mu, why would you push me that hard? Tsk... it hurts."
Luo Muchen clenched his fist and said through gritted teeth, "Get out."
Qie Xieling couldn’t accept it. He stood up while complaining. "You kissed me so you should take responsibility."
"You kiss me first so who exactly should be taking responsibility for whom here?!" yelled Luo Muchen and Qie Xieling was startled.
The room fell silent for a split second before Qie Xieling walked closer and stood next to him saying, "Then I will take responsibility," with a bright smile.
Luo Muchen’s eyes were darker and Qie Xieling knew it was his cue to leave. He raised his hands in surrender and said, "Fine. I am leaving."
Qie Xieling reached over to straighten Luo Muchen’s clothes but Luo Muchen stepped back. Qie Xieling’s hands that were frozen in midair lowered before he turned and left the room.
Luo Muchen covered his face as he slumped on the couch. His mood was low but Qie Xieling’s mood on the other hand was extremely good.
Each time he kissed Luo Muchen in a different world the feeling was so real like it was the first time they kissed. His lips were so soft and sweet that the taste still lingered on his lips.
He was so excited that he didn’t realise something was wrong. He had been walking down the passageway after he exited the elevator. He thought he had pressed the floor for the cafeteria but the elevator stopped somewhere else, a deck that he had never been to.
Qie Xieling soon noticed something was amiss thus he turned back to the elevator but when he got there it wouldn’t open.
He scanned the keypad several times but the screen kept turning red denying him access. Qie Xieling turned to his communicator and decided to call the old man. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
After two or three rings the call was picked up and Qie Xieling immediately wailed like he had been wronged. "Uncle Jie save me. I am stuck," he said but the person on the other line didn’t answer.
Qie Xieling kept explaining. "I was in the elevator coming from seeing the captain. Oh by the way, I and the captain kissed. I will tell you all the details later. Hello, hello," he rumbled on only for the call to get cut in the end.
Qie Xieling, "..."
"Aish," he swore annoyed half to death. He tried to call him back but he had been blocked for forty-eight hours.
Qie Xieling tried to call Mauve as well but it wasn’t going through. He decided to explore this deck and see if he could find something useful.
While checking the doors Qie Xieling’s heart raced in his chest when he suddenly felt a ghastly presence. His steps froze as a voice echoed through the corridor chilling him to the bone.
"You shouldn’t be here," it whispered, its ethereal tone sending shivers down his spine. His breath caught in his throat as he desperately searched for the source of the haunting words.
"Who who is it?" Qie Xieling called out, his voice trembling with a mix of fear and curiosity. Silence enveloped the corridor, broken only by the distant hum of the warship’s machinery. He strained his ears, hoping to catch any sound that would offer a clue to the mysterious voice’s origin.
As he cautiously pressed forward, he noticed the walls seemed to gleam with an otherworldly radiance, their pure white surface giving off an almost blinding light. The doors along the corridor stood motionless, refusing to slide open despite his attempts to pry them apart. It was as if this part of the ship had been sealed off from the rest of the world.
The voice returned, more insistent this time as if urging him to leave. "You shouldn’t be here," it repeated, its spectral timbre carrying a sense of warning. Qie Xieling’s mind raced wondering what sort of monster would create a ghost world. Oh right, that monster was Leong Jinn.
