Reborn In A Cultivation World With All Cheat Abilities
Chapter 21: Beyond The Continent
Jacob looked down at his newfound shadow soldiers, he hadn’t even noticed that the dome had dissipated.
"Your wishes are our command, Master."
They both said in unison, bowing their heads as they stayed perched on one knee.
"First of all, tell me who sent you and then, why they sent you." Jacob requested, a glint could be seen in his sharp blue eyes.
"It was the Flying Macabre sect leader, Savant Hardin," the one that looked like Jirin spoke first.
"He sent for us in Helmand and signed a contract with us, told us to eliminate you by any means necessary." The other one said, raising its right hand.
A glowing piece of paper instantly materialized in the air above its palm, but Jacob wasn’t too concerned about the details, he only looked at the bottom of the paper.
’Signed by... Savant H.’
Jacob turned around and stroked his chin slowly. "Savant? So he’s willing to go that far?"
"Apparently so, Master," said Jaran.

"JACOB!" A feminine voice echoed all through the court, forcing him to turn around quickly in shock.
His shadow soldiers vanished instantly, the same way they had materialized.
"Mother, what are you doing?" Jacob asked as he watched the small woman dressed in silk walk towards him with an upset look on her face.
"Where have you been? We looked for you everywhere." She said, struggling to catch her breath.
"I’ve been right here mother, just doing some personal training."
She looked at the ground, cracked in multiple places, pieces of rubble laid carelessly on the concrete.
"Jacob, you know I’ve always told you not to work yourself too hard," she said while pinching his cheek.
"Ow! Ow!" He protested in pain while waving his hands.
"You might be fifteen now and much taller than me, but you are still my child." She looked at him.
"Yes mom I know," he responded, breaking free and wrapping an arm around her shoulder, guiding her towards the entrance.
"Look at me though mom, do I look like I’ve been pushing myself?"
Elena smiled as she walked with him.
Xenia stood at the entrance, her lips twisted in the usual smile but her eyes twitched, indicating she had just gone through the unpleasant ordeal of searching for the prince everywhere.
As Jacob walked with his mother, his smile quickly faded into a worried look, Savant had already attacked him once, even though it will help him get stronger, he wasn’t going to sit around and wait for another attack.
He had to find Savant first.
He was going to have to leave the Ironfell stronghold, for the sake of his family.
Even though he knew they could more than defend themselves against someone like Savant, who knew the lengths he was willing to go to.
The fact that he signed a binding contract with the demon race already suggested he was morally grey. Jacob wasn’t ready to put his beloved family in danger.
’I’ll let them know of my departure tomorrow.’ He mused.

"System, contact The Regulator."
<Contacting...>
<The Regulator: Jacob! Good to hear from you>
"Ohh, now it’s good to hear from me, the last time I contacted you, you acted like I interrupted you."
<The Regulator: Well at that moment I was—indisposed. And you were pretty weak>
Jacob remembered the regulator explicitly warning him not to contact him unless he was at the divine realm. He thanked his stars and gave a silent praise in his heart because he had not thought about it before contacting.
<The Regulator: How can I help you Jacob>
"I’ll be leaving this castle soon."
<The Regulator: As is expected>
"What are the greatest threats beyond this continent?" Jacob asked.
<The Regulator: ... >
<The Regulator: Beyond human lands lie beings that do not recognize your laws, nor your existence, if it is attention you worry about, then definitely your talent will draw attention, your existence already has. You will encounter foes of different shapes, sizes, affinities, and powers. They will all try to kill you. What you have encountered so far is merely a droplet compared to the journey that awaits>
Jacob listened, becoming more wary with each sentence, he had lived a life of comfort so far, but he also had it at the back of his mind that he was going into the world someday.
<The Regulator: Well I have told you enough, what you do from here is up to you Jacob Ironfell>
"Wait. What about the council? You said some of them will not like the fact that you granted me this system."
<The Regulator: Leave matters of the council to me."
With that, the Regulator logged off, leaving Jacob with his thoughts.

The Northern end of the continent, a small compound outside the Flying Macabre Sect.
A buff man sat shirtless outside a small building with a huge cigar in his mouth. His hair was slicked back and he rested his back on the frame of the wooden chair.
A small glowing piece of paper instantly appeared before him.
’Oh, good, the twins have done their job.’ He mused inwardly, a feeling of satisfaction starting to wash over him.
Before he could complete his thought the paper ripped to shreds and vanished in flickers of light.
"Wha—How? Did he defeat them? Must have been that old fucker Alaric, he must’ve helped the boy." Savant raised his voice, he tossed the cigar to the ground and crushed it under his boot. He stood up and started pacing around restlessly.
He immediately begun plotting another strategy.
He had spent years cultivating an alliance with members of the Demon Realm of Helmand, how was he to explain to the Demon King that he sent two of his best soldiers to their deaths.
He rested on the rails and sighed.
"Those brothers were unhinged, they willingly accepted the contract and failed, I’m sure he’d understand, it was no fault of mine." Savant said quietly.
Lyra lay on the couch, watching as the man restlessly marched around on the porch, she sighed and turned her gaze away from him, focusing on her spell book.
