He simply thought that if his Master already thought he had improved a lot, then maybe he could ask him about it now.

Dimo was simply and honestly excited to learn about what interested him.

But if others saw him, they would wonder if he was intentionally acting all cute so he could get his master’s approval through all this cuteness overload.

[This is unfair. How can I say no if he acts like this? Ah, Young Master Fermin was like this as well. When I didn’t teach him something, he would ask my lord or the others. Are they not doing this on purpose?]

Alwin was at a loss for what to say. He was vulnerable to all these kinds of acts. Especially since it reminded him of how Fermin usually acted when there was something he wanted to learn that Alwin was not willing to teach yet.

Thus, he did not know how to respond to Dimo when he knew that the latter would be so disappointed if he said no.

"Dimo, didn’t you say you would grow strong and healthy first?" Arabella gently reminded. She used Dimo’s words to remind him of their talk earlier.

After all, Dimo promised earlier that he would do his best to be like Alwin and Rendell first.

Arabella reminded Dimo of it so he would not insist on being taught now.

Using his own words as an alibi was better so he would not end up thinking that Alwin did not believe in him if the latter directly rejected his fervent request to be taught.

"Oh, right... Yes, Your Majesty," Dimo settled down when he realized he said those words earlier indeed.

Alwin finally thought of what to say too; and said, "Yes. You need to train your body a bit more so you need to eat more healthy foods. I will check on you again later to see what advanced spells you can try learning. Once you master some of them, we will begin teaching you teleportation."

[I was like this too when I was a child.

I wanted to learn everything as soon as possible.

When my teachers refused to teach me something, it felt terrible.

So, I sought other people to teach me and showed them I could do it.]

Alwin was reminded about his past.

Thus, he could not reject Dimo directly. Especially when like him, the child was also keen and interested in learning as much as he could.

"Really?! Is that a promise, Master?"

Dimo’s eyes sparkled yet again. He was too hard to resist especially since there wasn’t any child here in the Magic Tower.

"Y-yes. But first, you should do more sword and horseback riding lessons to help train your body," Alwin added conditions to make it a bit harder.

"Yes, Master! I will do my very best," Dimo promised enthusiastically.

Due to Dimo’s brimming energy and willingness to learn everything as soon as possible, Arabella, Alwin, and Rendell suddenly thought it was too good to be young even though they were not that old yet when compared to other people.

"Alright. Then, for now, focus on those two and your daily lessons," Alwin instructed.

For now, teaching Dimo teleportation was successfully delayed.

[I’ll ask the others to begin teaching him more complicated spells since he could already understand teleportation anyway. Once he succeeds in several advanced spells, we can begin teaching him teleportation.]

Alwin decided to teach Dimo gradually. He wanted to increase Dimo’s tolerance in using huge amounts of mana first which was why he thought of having him taught advanced spells first before teleportation lessons.

Arabella learned from Alwn’s thoughts that teleportation uses so much more mana than other spells so Dimo needed to get used to using a lot first without going berserk.

When it comes to mana, Dimo already had more than enough mana to succeed in short-distance teleportation. However, he might get dizzy and unstable from it. Thus, it had to happen after his body was gradually prepared.

"Yes, Master," Dimo was brimming with energy and enthusiasm with a goal in mind.

Their conversation ended when there was a knock on the door.

Knock. Knock.

"Your Majesty, I have brought the tea and sweets."

"Eh? It’s Blanca," Arabella glanced at the door when she recognized the voice.

She nodded at Rendell when he glanced at her, wordlessly asking for permission to open it.

"Ah, yes. She’s practicing here so she won’t make a lot of mistakes when she becomes your maid," Alwin said right when Blanca entered.

"Greetings to Your Majesty," Blanca bowed and greeted politely and elegantly. She did it very well.

Blanca had her beautiful long hair tied in a neat ponytail. She was wearing a headband and an apron and was acting like the perfect maid.

It was clear that Blanca worked hard on her lessons and training. The way she carried herself once again improved.

"Well done. Be at ease," Arabella smiled and nodded in approval at how Blanca did it.

Blanca sighed in relief, happy that she received approval and relieved that she did not fail.

"Your Majesty, she’s the one who gave me these sweets," Dimo informed and he beamed at Blanca.

’Oh, so she’s the new maid he mentioned earlier. I was wondering if they hired someone solely for the Magic Tower. Who would have thought it was Blanca he was talking about,’ Arabella smiled at Blanca.

She was grateful that the latter was taking good care of Dimo and was not being biased despite what happened to her parents.

"Then, would you like to tell her something?" Arabella reminded Dimo.

"Thank you for the food. All of them taste so good!"

Dimo already knew from his training back home that he needed to thank the maids and other people who worked for them to be able to eat something good.

It was why no matter how he was treated by the maids in Olivier who were under Sonia’s control, he still acted respectfully towards them.

The difference was, that he was genuinely grateful for all this delicious food and the good treatment from Blanca.

It was clear that today was not the first time since Dimo eyed Blanca with so much warmth and fondness. He loved the one who had been giving him delicious food here.

"We are honored it is to your taste. The patissiers would be very much delighted as well," Blanca smiled and began serving more sweets and refreshments on the table.

Arabella and Alwin watched Blanca’s work. Both nodded when the latter did not make any mistakes.

"Alright, shall we eat together?" Arabella began eating so Alwin and Dimo could dig in.

Dimo was already excited to continue his food but he knew that once the food was served and he needed to eat with other people, he had to wait until the one with the highest position began first.

Arabella was not strict about that but following the customs of nobles would be better for Dimo so he would not get into trouble with other nobles in the future.

Once Arabella had eaten a forkful of cake, Dimo excitedly continued munching on his at a much quicker pace.

He still ate elegantly though and with all the manners he had to follow. He was already used to it as per his training as the heir of Olivier Duchy.

{Look at this child eat, Blanca. He’s still better than you when it comes to table manners.}

Alwin teased Blanca who was silently standing on the side.

{I know. You don’t have to tell me again. That’s exactly why I had been taking care of him every day. I am observing how he acts and behaves very carefully. I am noting everything.}

Blanca defended herself and gave Alwin a side-eye.

{As you should.} Alwin said and earned a glare from Blanca. {See? You are already forgetting your manners. Who dares glare at me in this Magic Tower?}

{Alright, alright. I’m so sorry, Your Eminence.} Blanca apologized but only after rolling her eyes.

Arabella pretended like she did not notice. But in a formal setting, Blanca would not be allowed to do any of those since other people with them might notice it.

After all, a lot of the nobles were keen and sensitive even on such matters.

{That should be, My deepest apologies, Your Eminence.} Alwin corrected.

{Ugh. I know. I know. But I just can’t apologize sincerely when you are so full of yourself.} Blanca frowned at Alwin. Her brows almost met to create a line.

Dimo happened to look up and noticed.

"Uhm, elder sister? Are you angry at my master?" Dimo inquired and Blanca flinched.

{See? You even let a child notice you.} Alwin smirked.

"Oh, no. Not at all. Who would ever dare get angry at His Eminence? Haha," Blanca quickly said, not knowing what else to say.

[How can a child be so observant?!] Blanca thought as if she wasn’t a child herself in the eyes of her elders.
