Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1177: Looks Like Your Sister Had It All Planned Out
Lily Turner narrated to the two people in front of her about what happened when Alice came home yesterday. Through her narration, she was one hundred percent certain that her sister had been prepared to leave for a long time.
"It seems she had planned to leave for a while," Thomas Fisher said, as if talking to Lily, but more like talking to himself. As he spoke, he turned and walked towards the door.
Seeing this, Lily instinctively called out to stop him, "Hey! You..."
Bang!
Thomas seemed like he didn’t hear Lily at all, opened the door and left, casually slamming the door shut behind him.
Seeing Thomas leave in such a distraught manner, Lily was worried something might happen to him, she tugged at Easton Holmes’ sleeve, "He, he won’t get into trouble, right? You should follow him and check on him, just in case."
After speaking, she poked his arm, urging him to quickly go and check.
"You go to the living room and watch TV, I’ll go check on Thomas." Easton saw that Lily’s mood didn’t fluctuate much, and after taking the phone from her hand, he reminded her and then turned to chase after Thomas.
After the two men left, Lily let out a long sigh in front of the door, wondering what on earth happened to her sister. Why would she leave all of a sudden, keeping everyone in the dark?
Could her sister’s sudden departure be related to Thomas and Benjamin Shaw? Did Benjamin find out that Thomas and her sister were together? Did he have a fight with her sister?
Lily couldn’t make heads or tails of it all at once, so she turned to go to the living room, wanting to call her mom, Sophia Wood, to get to the bottom of it.
"Hey! Lily!" The phone had just rung once when Sophia picked it up, knowing for sure it was Lily calling from the fixed line at the compound.
Without dwelling on anything else, Lily immediately asked, "Mom! Does Benjamin know that my sister and Thomas are together?"
Her heart was sure of the answer, but what the real situation was, she found it hard to say.
"I don’t know, your sister hardly tells me anything these days, especially about her and Thomas and Benjamin." Sophia truly had no idea about it, but like Lily, she also thought Benjamin probably found out about it, "Could it be your sister left without saying goodbye because of this?"
She thought it shouldn’t be, as her understanding of her eldest daughter was not of someone who was timid and avoided issues; if it were the youngest on the phone, she’d think it was possible.
Lily shook her head, "I can’t be sure either, this is all just me guessing randomly."
Besides this, she couldn’t come up with any other scenarios.
"I heard you say on the phone earlier, it seemed like your sister was deliberately hiding? Did she say anything to you?" When she heard Lily say this sentence earlier, Sophia wanted to ask, but before she could, the person on the other side of the phone had hung up.
Lily once again narrated the story of Alice coming home yesterday to Sophia on the other end of the line, believing that her mom would think the same way as she did after hearing it.
Sure enough, Sophia came to the same conclusion, "It seems your sister had thought it through long ago."
But why leave without saying a word? No matter how big the difficulty she faced, there was no need to leave quietly. Weren’t they, the family, there to be relied upon?
"Mom! You and Dad, don’t worry too much, I believe my sister will come back soon," Lily consoled Sophia over the phone, while also comforting herself.
