Hearing Charlotte mention Alice Turner, Benjamin Shaw slowly turned around. As he turned, he instinctively glanced at the hospital room, finding the doorway empty, his gaze suddenly darkened.

"She knows she caused trouble, how could she possibly be at the hospital," he grumbled discontentedly, shifting his gaze to his sister standing by the bed, "Why are you here again?"

After speaking, he noticed the thermal container his sister was carrying.

Charlotte lifted the thermal container, raising it before Benjamin, "You’ve done well now; I’m here to bring you food."

With that, she placed the thermal container into his hands.

"Thank you."

Benjamin glanced up at Charlotte standing by the bed and opened the thermal container. As it opened, he caught the scent of codfish.

Having gone over a day without eating, his stomach was already growling with hunger. Seeing his favorite codfish made his stomach rumble even more.

Charlotte stood nearby, clearly hearing the protest from Benjamin’s stomach. She picked up a small spoon from the bowl of porridge and handed it to him, "Hurry up and eat; this codfish is what Mom and I bought for you from the supermarket."

After meeting Sophie Snow earlier, Charlotte and Isla Lane went to the supermarket together, where they bought some groceries and fruit before returning home.

Isla Lane originally wanted to come to the hospital with Charlotte to deliver the food, but recalling the unpleasantness from the morning, she held back and didn’t come.

Benjamin remained silent, raising a hand to take the spoon Charlotte handed over, and he began eating the food and fish from the container.

To avoid affecting Benjamin’s mood while eating, Charlotte said nothing more, leaving the bedside and went to sit on the sofa, taking out her phone to play a game.

One ate by the bed; the other played a game on the sofa, neither disturbed the other, and the atmosphere in the hospital room was unexpectedly calm.

Squeak!

The sudden sound of the door opening disrupted the calm atmosphere in the hospital room.

Charlotte and Benjamin, in sync, looked towards the hospital room door, and upon seeing the person entering, their expressions changed simultaneously, albeit differently.

"Thomas! Are you coming from the company?" Charlotte responded first, standing to face Thomas Fisher as he walked in.

Thomas nodded slightly, "Yes, I bought some food to bring to the Third Brother, didn’t expect him to be eating already."

As Thomas pushed the door in, he immediately smelled the aroma of rice and fish, followed by the sight of Benjamin eating on the hospital bed.

"I just brought it to him." As Thomas headed straight toward Benjamin, who was eating, Charlotte turned off her mobile game and walked over as well.

Thomas placed the food he bought on the cabinet, turning to Charlotte approaching, "Charlotte! You probably haven’t eaten yet, right?"

His intent was clear, namely to let Charlotte eat the food he bought.

"No."

After the household help finished cooking, Charlotte immediately brought the food to the hospital, and having not eaten, she was quite hungry herself. She had hid on the sofa to play games not just to avoid affecting Benjamin’s appetite.

Smelling the aroma of food without being able to eat it, her stomach was severely tormented, and not just her stomach, her mouth suffered too.
