The young man turned to the other cultivators behind him and asked, "Doesn’t this fellow daoist have a very peaceful aura?"

The sudden invitation surprised Fengyu. He realised that the people in front of him were beasts!

They followed the procedure and completed the ritual in one go, their expressions ones of wild surprise the whole time.

Only when everything was over did they leave their reverie, looking at the dissipating altar in shock.

"The contract is completed - please tell me your strongest ability, up to three, so that I can note it and convey it to the city to assign you a task."

Ling nodded and was the first to speak, "I am good at spiritual planting, at cloud and water related spells and... at controlling the weather."
