Primal Dragon: The Dragon and Phoenix Empresses are Obsessed with Me!
Chapter 111: Transformation
The moment his blood touched the altar below, Dresh’s expression became even more tense.
For a second, nothing happened. In the next instant, a brilliant light flashed from the altar.
"This..."
Emperal hurriedly backed away; that light wasn’t just light. It was more like a scanner and seemed dangerous.
In front of Dresh, the altar began to glow and flicker continuously. The entire chamber seemed to tremble and vibrate constantly.
CRACK!!
Suddenly, the altar cracked open! Emperal’s breath hitched as he saw an orb slowly float out.
It wasn’t an orb, to be specific, it was...viscous. More like blood.
And as Emperal expected, it was also half white and half black. As crazy as it sounds, it was true.
Dresh’s pupils widened as she saw the orb; without hesitation, her hand shot forward and touched it.
"...Arghhfgh! Shit!"
Dresh cried out in alarm when a pain...unlike anything she had experienced coursed through her body the moment she touched the drop.
It didn’t immediately enter her body, but waited there. The waves of destructive aura it was sending gave Emperal chills down his spine, and he hurriedly backed a few more steps away.
"His complete Inheritance, Emperal. You absolutely shouldn’t let go of this woman. Her value...far surpasses what you can comprehend."
Suddenly, the Infernal Dragon’s voice echoed in his head. Making his mind buzz.
"Is this inheritance that great?"
Although the answer was right in front of him, he still needed to ask the Infernal Dragon.
"It is subjective, but overall, yes. That woman is far more valuable. As the only daughter of that man, she possesses overwhelming authority over everything he left behind. And that everything is something outside of Verandis."
Emperal’s expression changed when he heard that; his expression turned serious.
"I see."
His eyes looked at Dresh in a new light now. Previously, he was just looking at her as...a very close friend.
But, now it seems. He had to take some necessary steps.
Just in time, he heard a loud cry. Looking at Dresh in the distance, his eyes filled with worry.
Her entire body was trembling with thick, fresh veins popping all over. Even her black sclera had turned a bit intense.
The orb pressed into Dresh’s chest, or more like forced itself in.
The force shook Dresh and almost made her eyes roll back due to the pain; a drop of blood dripped down her chin as her body trembled erratically.
"Dresh!"
Emperal stepped forward, ready to intervene. But a single gesture from Dresh made him stop.
"I-I’ll h-and...le it."
Dresh forced those words out of her throat and forcefully made her back straighten. The room was filled with mystical white and black energy as the orb slowly integrated with Dresh.
Her entire body was locked, spine straight and her neck forced back...her veins, her pools, her pathways...everything was being destroyed in the process.
Making her eyes widen in frustration, the Eclipse blood’s duality could finally be seen.
The white half entered her body first; she already had wind affinity. Which was already powerful...was destroyed the moment it came in contact with the light element.
It was utterly obliterated.
Her body started to burn as more and more light flooded into her. Her vast Verth reserves were being depleted at an alarming rate.
Emperal’s expression changed when he saw this, "Infernal Dragon, can my Soul Force replace her Verth?"
"It can...and it is even a better alternative. But, I suggest you do not do it."
"Why?"
"Because of this process, it may look barbaric right now, but trust me...this process is far more Byzantine than it looks. It’s better if you don’t intervene and cause some changes."
Emperal took a deep breath when he heard its words; it was the truth.
The Verth inside the chamber suddenly shifted, and in the next second...it rushed towards Dresh. Entering her body like hungry wolves.
Finally, the white entered her body fully, coating her in otherworldly radiance.
"Damn, it feels like I’m witnessing something monumental," Emperal muttered. And he didn’t realize how close he was to those words.
After the completion of white, it was the black’s turn to enter her. And enter—it did.
The earlier brilliant chamber suddenly dimmed, the light was...forced out. The Darkness swallowed the ambient luminescence, which was acting as fuel. Dresh’s black sclera deepened from the earlier suppressed version. Her pupils...they were gone. Replaced by pure darkness.
Her body began floating upwards, her platinum-green hair...held out for two more minutes before giving out.
Her roots darkened, a visceral black began to devour the earlier platinum-green. But her green hair still didn’t vanish.
They persisted at the edges. The pigmentation became a bit strange in Emperal’s eyes.
BOOOM!!!
A massive shockwave echoed from Dresh’s body as the center; the shockwave hit the walls and destroyed them instantly.
ROAR~!!!
Just at that moment, Emperal heard a miniature version of a Draconic roar. Turning his head, he saw the Wyvern rush towards them.
THUD!
With a heavy step, it landed beside Emperal. Its eyes were filled with anxiousness as it saw Dresh.
Due to its huge body, the continuous shockwaves that were hitting him finally stopped.
Emperal slowly turned his gaze up, and there she was. A tall woman floated silently in the air, with her eyes closed.
Vast waves of power rolled off her body. She seemed just like any mortal. But Emperal knew that it was far from the truth.
Dresh’s eyes snapped open, and she looked around confusedly for a moment before realising she had been lifted off the ground.
Her eyes found Emperal.
Before the man could even blink, the woman was already standing in front of him.
Her gaze dropped to his staunch figure, despite her heavily changed appearance...there was not a single ripple in his eyes aside from the element of surprise and...relief?
Just as she was looking at him, he, too, was staring at her. Her eyes specifically.
Black sclera...both of her eyes had turned black. Her midnight-black hair reached the ground.
And finally, his gaze dropped more.
And there he saw it, a treasure so valuable that men would wage war across realms to obtain it!
Her milky-white breasts were certainly big. Bigger than anything he had seen.
But unlike other men, he didn’t panic or shift his eyes. He looked at them a second longer and shifted his gaze up.
Dresh was still looking at him.
"...How do I look?"
After a few seconds of staring, she suddenly asked. For a moment, Emperal was surprised.
Before a quiet chuckle left his lips.
"Better than ever."
Without hesitation, Dresh stepped ahead. Her lips crashed onto his~!
