Young Master Vance Has An Enchanting Wife!-Chapter 245: Driven to the Limit
Brianna White didn’t expect May Morgan to have such strength, and was so scared that she screamed, "Help, help!"
Seeing this, Vincent Vance rushed over to pull May Morgan away: "May, what are you doing?"
May Morgan suddenly turned around and gave Vincent a big slap. This slap was particularly fierce, venting all the anger she had towards him these past days.
"Shameless, adulterer and whore, it’s one thing to sneak around outside, but you actually dared to sneak into my bed!" May Morgan’s eyes reddened, and she grabbed Brianna White’s arm again: "Smack, smack" - she slapped her cheeks left and right.
Having received such a heavy slap from May Morgan, Vincent too was getting angry. In his life, he had never been hit before, let alone in the face!
"That’s enough!" Vincent grabbed May Morgan’s hand and threw her hard onto the bed.
After being thrown heavily onto the bed by Vincent, May Morgan suddenly felt dizzy. She wanted to struggle to stand up, but her body was trembling violently.
Having had a miscarriage, been caught in the rain, and emotionally overwhelmed, May Morgan quickly succumbed and passed out completely.
When she woke up again, she found herself lying on the bed with an IV drip.
Miller was by her side, watching over her. Seeing her awake, she thankfully said to May Morgan, "Ma’am, you’re finally awake. You scared me to death just now."
May Morgan looked down at the needle in her hand, then up at the IV fluid above her. Thinking about everything that had happened before, she suddenly struggled to get out of bed.
"Ma’am, what are you doing? You can’t move. You’re still running a fever." Miller said with a face full of distress, quickly holding May Morgan back, advising her earnestly, "Even if it’s a big matter, you should wait until you recover, right? You’ve just had a miscarriage and caught such a terrible rain; if you genuinely fall ill, you’ll suffer your whole life."
May Morgan listened, her eyes reddening. Remembering how Vincent had treated her in these past days, she felt a deep, painful hatred in her heart.
"Miller, I don’t want to sleep in this bed. I feel disgusted. Help me change rooms. I don’t want to see this room, this bed."
Every time she thought of that woman lying naked in her bed, and having been with Vincent in her room, May Morgan felt utterly disgusted.
She’s not overly sensitive about cleanliness, but she’s definitely not that forgiving. Vincent brought a woman home and did that in her bed—if she could forgive him, she’d deserve to be demeaned!
Miller saw May Morgan’s firm attitude, sighed helplessly, and got up to leave: "I’ll discuss with the young master to see if we can help you change rooms. Ma’am, don’t think too much, life still has to go on, right?"
Miller was trying to persuade her to endure, but with May Morgan’s temper, how could she bear it? After such an event, if she could still bear it, then she would truly be humble to the extreme.
Endurance was not an option. Not only couldn’t she endure it, but sooner or later, she would also take revenge on all those who wronged her.
It wasn’t long after Miller left that she returned, wearing a somewhat troubled expression: "Ma’am, I just called the young master. He said that since your health isn’t good, it’s better not to switch rooms for now."
After hearing Miller’s words, May Morgan became somewhat agitated. She threw off the covers, trying to get up and leave: "I’ll decide my own affairs. I just don’t want to sleep in this bed."
Seeing her so stubborn, Miller was shocked and quickly rushed over to hold May Morgan’s body, comforting her: "Ma’am, I know you feel wronged, but no matter how wronged you are, you should take care of your health first, right? You’re still having a fever. Even if you change rooms, won’t Vincent and that woman’s affair still exist?"
"Miller, I just feel sick. Whenever I think of Vincent and that woman... it breaks my heart, really breaks my heart..."
With red eyes, May Morgan suddenly started crying in grievance. Seeing this, Miller quickly took the opportunity to lay her back on the bed.
"Don’t think too much about it. Life still has to go on. Even if you don’t live with the young master in the future, don’t you need to have good health?"
As they spoke, the bedroom door suddenly opened, and Maxwell Vance strutted in from outside.
"Want a divorce, huh? Then hurry up; don’t just stand there refusing to leave, saying empty words. When things actually come to a move, you’re reluctant in every possible way."
Maxwell sneered, glanced at May Morgan on the bed, and then deliberately made it difficult for Miller: "Didn’t you resign? Why haven’t you left?"
"I... I’ll at least take care of Ma’am until she recovers before leaving." Miller lowered her head, looking like she had done something wrong, pleading bitterly with Maxwell.
Maxwell had no intention of letting her take care of May Morgan. Right now, she couldn’t wait for all of May Morgan’s confidants to get lost.
"You won’t leave, will you? I’ll make sure you’re forced out!" Maxwell glared fiercely at Miller, then turned around and shouted at the servants at the door: "Are you all dead? Didn’t you see an outsider in this house? Get this old woman out, and don’t let her set foot in Zenith Villa ever again."
The servants wouldn’t dare offend Maxwell, so after hearing her command, they hurriedly came in to drag Miller outside. Miller was reluctant to leave May Morgan, afraid that after she left, these servants would definitely make things hard for her, so she refused to leave.
"I’ll forego my wages, won’t that work? Please, o miss, let me take care of Ma’am until she’s well and then leave."
"What nonsense are you talking? There’s no place for you here anymore, now get lost!" Maxwell shouted angrily. The servants, terrified, grabbed Miller and forcibly dragged her out.
May Morgan lay on the bed, coldly watching the triumphant Maxwell, saying nothing.
After driving Miller out, Maxwell turned back to taunt May Morgan: "I think you just have a common cold, why are you so pretentious? Do you need a personal caretaker?" 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
After saying that, Maxwell deliberately walked over to May Morgan’s bedside, grabbed her wrist, and pulled out the needle.
"I don’t think you need this IV either. Aren’t you pretty tough? When you were poor, I didn’t see you being so delicate. What? Following my brother, you’ve learned to enjoy life, huh?"
When she pulled out the needle from May Morgan’s wrist, the servant nearby, fearing May Morgan might really have an accident, quickly stopped Maxwell: "Miss, the doctor said Ma’am’s body is very weak and can’t afford any more mishaps. You this..."
"What? Do you all feel sorry too? Want the same fate as that Miller? Speak another word, and all of you get out!"
With her words, all the servants were too scared to utter another word, quickly shutting their mouths.
May Morgan looked at Maxwell’s triumphant face and couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh: "Maxwell, aren’t you afraid I’ll take revenge on you in the future?"
