Young Master Vance Has An Enchanting Wife!-Chapter 237: Advise You to Be Kind
May Morgan bit her lip, forcing herself not to let the tear of grievance at the corner of her eye fall, so the man in front of her wouldn’t see her weakness.
She didn’t want to cry, really didn’t, but the man in front of her ultimately forced her to shed tears.
"Do you want to go back to Adam Owens? Destroy the marriage between Maxwell Vance and Adam Owens? I’m telling you, it’s not possible!" Vincent Vance glared coldly at May Morgan before turning and walking out the door.
Since the conversation had reached this point, he felt that continuing to talk would only lead to mutual harm, so it would be better to separate for a while.
Seeing him about to leave, May Morgan, out of spite, grabbed the Star of Extreme Night and threw it, which hit the door with a "bang" as Vincent shut the bedroom door, and the large diamond ring fell to the corner.
After all, a diamond is a diamond; even if it falls to the corner, its brilliance is hard to conceal.
Looking at that extremely ironic diamond ring, May Morgan suddenly hugged the quilt and began to cry.
Vincent Vance, oh Vincent, you are ruthless!
The day after Maxwell Vance moved into Zenith Villa, May Morgan could get out of bed and eat something. Early in the morning, as she went downstairs, she saw Maxwell sitting at the dining table, chatting and laughing with her brother, their sibling bond appearing particularly strong, making May, an outsider, feel quite heartbroken.
Seeing May come downstairs, Maxwell deliberately tugged Vincent’s arm, coquettishly saying, "Brother, I want to stay in the guest room next to your bedroom on the second floor. It’s comfortable there, well-ventilated, and good for the baby in my belly."
Returning last night, Vincent had intentionally arranged for Maxwell’s room on the first floor, fearing that she and May would loathe each other even more, and what if they fought again?
At the moment Maxwell mentioned moving to the second floor, naturally, he wouldn’t agree, but before he could speak, May suddenly spoke up to Maxwell: "Your room isn’t as airy and spacious as my bedroom, so why not let you stay there?"
Maxwell looked at May incredulously: "Would you really let me stay there willingly?"
May gave a sarcastic smile at Vincent and said deliberately: "I don’t have any say in this family; your brother makes the decisions."
Seeing this, Maxwell seized the opportunity to plead with Vincent: "Brother, you see, it’s May who wants to give up your bedroom for me, not me asking for it."
Vincent shot a fierce look, scaring Maxwell so much that she shivered: "Then should I give the entire Zenith Villa to you?"
Knowing her brother was angry, Maxwell quickly stuck out her tongue, muttering quietly: "I’m not the one who brought it up, why take it out on me?"
"Eat!" Vincent shouted irritably at Maxwell, rendering her speechless with fear.
After May sat down, Vincent tried to maintain his temper and handed over some dishes she liked: "These are all your favorites; eat more."
May looked down at the plate piled high by Vincent and deliberately made things difficult: "I don’t want to eat these now."
Vincent furrowed his brows, slightly discontented, and asked: "Didn’t you say a few days ago that you wanted to eat these?"
"That was because I was pregnant and craved them, but now that the child is gone, why would I still eat these?" May gritted her teeth, turning her glaring eyes towards Maxwell.
Her gaze was so fierce that even Maxwell, who was eating, felt uneasy. Vincent, unwilling to ruin the meal’s atmosphere, solemnly said, "Then what do you want to eat? I’ll have the chef make it for you."
"I’m not hungry now, I don’t want to eat!" May pushed with her hand, deliberately shoving the plates and bowls aside, spilling liquids all over the table, almost spilling onto Vincent.
The servant beside knew May was angry at Vincent and didn’t dare to interfere, merely picking up a towel to help clean up. Vincent, trying to suppress his anger, said to May, "Since you’re not hungry, then go upstairs and rest."
"I still have something to say to your sister, can’t leave yet!" Giving him a sidelong glance, May turned to face Maxwell, staring grimly at her meal.
"You and I haven’t just met; you know what kind of temper I have," May said coldly to Maxwell.
Maxwell felt a chill down her spine, almost dropping her spoon: "What, what do you want to do?"
"Since you’ve decided to live in Zenith Villa, you’d better be prepared for retaliation from me. Be careful while eating, drinking, or even sleeping; who knows, one day I might get some potion to take away your child too."
"Brother, save me!" Terrified by the malice in May’s eyes, Maxwell quickly stood up and ran behind Vincent, seeking his help.
Vincent too was already at his wits’ end because of May. This woman was excellent in every way except for her stubborn nature, which even ten oxen couldn’t rein in.
"Maxwell, don’t be afraid, I’ll find a way to help you." With a face full of headaches, Vincent pulled Maxwell, signaling her to head back to her room to rest.
With trembling steps, Maxwell was about to follow the servant out when May suddenly slapped the heavy mahogany table with all her strength, causing it to crack with a clear fissure.
"We’re all family, so I won’t hide it from you. I’m very strong, as you can see, and if I lose control in a fit of rage, killing someone would be very bad." May lifted her head, glared at Maxwell, and threatened her.
Maxwell felt the terrifying extremity of May; had she known how difficult May was, she wouldn’t have listened to Logan Vance...
"Brother, I don’t want to live in Zenith Villa anymore, please take me back to Vance Residence, I beg you." Frightened by May’s strength, Maxwell pleaded with Vincent to take her away.
However, Vincent couldn’t let Maxwell return to Vance Residence now. Anyone important to him couldn’t go back there, as it would ruin his plans.
Therefore, he had to comfort Maxwell to stay, as even houses outside weren’t safe.
"Maxwell, don’t listen to May, she won’t dare to hurt you. Go back to your room." Vincent ordered Maxwell sharply.
Left with no choice, Maxwell returned to her room with the servants. As she left, May quickly stood up, intending to go back to her room to rest.
"You can’t keep making a fuss like this; it’s harmful to all of us." Vincent advised May earnestly.
