World Domination Begins With Getting a System in a Modern World-Chapter 63: Chat With Ralph
Chapter 63: Chat With Ralph
After Ralph was done admiring — no, romancing — his brand-new Mercedes AMG S63, he and James finally stepped into the house.
James had wanted Ralph to take the car for a spin, to feel the wheels beneath him and experience the luxury firsthand. But Ralph had shaken his head.
"Nah, man," he said, grinning. "I’m too excited right now. If I drive in this state, I might just crash that beauty."
James chuckled, shaking his head as they entered the living room. He understood that Ralph was already in love with the car and doesn’t want anything to happen to it.
The past week had been a whirlwind — a rollercoaster of events and emotions that neither of them had fully processed yet.
From creating the memecoin to watching it explode in value, from getting it listed on major CEXs to making millions of dollars, the two of them had gone from being financially ambitious young men to multi-millionaires almost overnight. A dream come true.
And finally, now they were just starting to catch their breath.
Ralph collapsed onto the couch with a sigh, stretching his arms above his head.
"James, I really don’t know what to say, man." He turned his head, flashing a genuine smile. "I know saying this isn’t enough for everything you’ve done, but seriously — thank you. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. It means a lot."
James raised an eyebrow before bursting into laughter.
"Giving you an opportunity? The hell are you talking about, man?" he smirked. "You were the one who created the memecoin, handled the listings, dealt with the whales, and did all the heavy lifting. If anything, you made this happen."
Ralph laughed too, shaking his head.
"It wasn’t just about that. I also used your idea and made over ten million dollars, bro. My holdings are worth about seven hundred million now — at least for the moment. It’ll probably drop, but man... that’s insane."
He leaned forward, staring at the ceiling, still struggling to fully grasp it.
"James, do you know how crazy this is?" he continued. "My bank account literally went from less than twenty grand to thirty million dollars overnight. Bro, I really achieved my dream of financial freedom."
James nodded, feeling a sense of satisfaction when he heard what Ralph said.
It’s not a lie to say that the dream of all boys is for them and their OGs to be rich and free. Nothing beats the feeling of driving around in your own car, and your friends also driving theirs.
"I was actually gonna ask how much you made," James admitted. "Glad to hear that both of us don’t have to worry about money anymore. We can finally start living life on our terms."
Ralph exhaled and leaned back, nodding in agreement. Even though he was calm on the surface, his emotions was still all over the place.
"Yeah. No more stress about bills, no more worrying about something— that the little in my account can’t fix — happening."
Then, suddenly, his gaze sharpened as he sat up straight.
"So, when are you going to tell me?" Ralph asked, with a slightly serious tone.
James frowned. "Tell you what?"
Ralph smirked. "C’mon, man. Don’t play dumb. Remember what I said before? You owe me an explanation."
James sighed, rubbing his temples. He remembered Ralph’s message, asking him if he has mastered the art of explanation.
"Well... about that." He chuckled awkwardly. "I really don’t know how to explain it, but I’ll just say it’s luck. After you told me about the Martingale strategy, I kinda... abused it to farm money."
Ralph gave him a look and James laughed, as he continued.
"As the money kept coming in, I started thinking about long-term cash flow, and that’s when the memecoin idea came to mind."
Ralph stared at him for a moment before laughing as well. He understood that James wasn’t telling him everything but he also understand that everyone has a secret, and he and James are no different.
"Man, I knew there was something off about how much money you made from gambling," he said. "But whatever. Everyone’s got their secrets."
James simply smirked. He knew that Ralph understood everything and won’t pry. And this is what he appreciates about him.
Ralph then leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees.
"Alright, so what’s next? What’s the plan?" he asked. "What are you gonna do with all your money and holdings?"
"Well, like I said before, I’m not selling my holdings," James replied. "And as for my cash, I’m investing it. I’ve already taken some steps — should be ready in a few days."
Of course, he was referring to the offshore trust holding company that the lawyers were setting up for him.
Though Ralph had exactly no idea what James was talking about, he nodded in approval.
"That’s good, man. You gotta reinvest and set up passive income streams. That’s the only way to make sure your money keeps making money," he said, and James nodded in agreement.
The conversation shifted to James moving out. He told Ralph that he, Patty, and Leslie would be leaving their old place soon.
Ralph raised an eyebrow. "Where you moving to?"
James smirked. "Bel-Air."
Ralph’s jaw dropped.
"BEL-AIR?!"
James laughed, watching his friend’s stunned reaction. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
Ralph shook his head, still trying to process it.
"Man... That’s insane," he muttered. "So, you’re gonna be living next to billionaires, huh?"
James nodded. "Pretty much."
Ralph looked at him with wide eyes. "Tell me the truth. Is Bel-Air really as crazy as they show on TV?"
James grinned. "Yeah. It’s just like you’d imagine — huge mansions, crazy expensive cars, and everyone looks like they’re part of some secret club."
Ralph exhaled deeply. "Damn, bro. That’s next-level."
James smiled at Ralph’s reaction.
Before they could continue their conversation, Natasha’s voice rang out from the dining area.
"Lunch is ready!"
James and Ralph got up, making their way to the dining table.
James immediately noticed Natasha’s behavior — the sweet, shy smile, the stolen glances, the way she fidgeted slightly as she set the table.
He sighed internally.
"Still? She still hasn’t moved on?"
He remembered that back in high school, Natasha had confessed her feelings to him, but he had politely turned her down, telling her he wasn’t ready for a relationship.
Years had passed since then, but it seemed she was still interested.
James wasn’t crue and he didn’t hate her or anything. But he also wasn’t interested. Not then and definitely not now.
He ignored her lingering glances and focused on his food.
Ralph, either oblivious or pretending to be, chatted casually as they ate.
After lunch, James stayed a little longer, talking with Ralph before finally deciding to head home.
Ralph walked him to the door.
They exchanged a firm handshake before Ralph pulled him into a quick hug.
"Take care, bro," Ralph said. "And drive safe."
James smirked. "You too. And don’t just stare at your car all day — actually drive it."
Ralph chuckled. "I will. Eventually."
James got into his Chevy, started the engine, and drove off.
As he cruised down the road, he couldn’t help but smile to himself, as he thought of what the future holds.
He wonder if Gregor has gotten anything since then. But he knew that if he has, be would had called to inform him.
"Let me focus on things I have control over and let those I have no control over to sort themselves out."
