Wizard: Stronger through Marriage-Chapter 772 - 341: Entering Blood Shadow Island (Part 2)
Not only here, but in the time that followed, David began to annihilate the entire Slave Organization in the Wizard World, simultaneously rescuing a large number of slaves.
The Wizard World was in upheaval.
David’s actions were like a huge stone thrown into a calm lake, stirring up waves upon waves.
Wizards everywhere began to spread his name after witnessing the swift destruction of the Slave Organization.
He was no longer an ordinary wizard but became a symbol of resistance against oppression and the pursuit of freedom.
While David launched his operations, the Slave Organization internally began to waver due to fear and division.
The once unbreakable alliance started showing cracks due to the fear brought by David.
As time passed, David built a large army of resistance.
They were not just saving those oppressed, but also fighting for a new future for the entire Wizard World.
In various regions, towns and villages responded to his call, voluntarily joining this liberation movement.
In such an atmosphere, an unprecedented large-scale resistance was gradually brewing.
Meanwhile, major forces also began to pay attention to this change.
The originally superior leaders of the Slave Organization hurriedly convened meetings.
If they failed to swiftly take measures, this movement might completely overturn the power structure they had established over centuries.
But at every meeting, they could not hide their inner unease.
In an era where information spread so rapidly and the awakening of the populace was so strong, even the most powerful forces could be swallowed by the tide of history.
As the silver light of the full moon spilled upon the earth, an unprecedented excitement and hope surged in the hearts of the slaves.
For months, they had endured endless suffering and oppression, yet today, they felt a new future was quietly arriving.
With rising emotions, some who had lost hope began to rally.
They encouraged and supported each other.
In this movement, they realized they were not alone or helpless bit players, but part of a force capable of changing history.
And these slaves later chose to join the Chaos Realm established by David, beginning to build a new order in their hearts filled with light.
...
The Wizard Alliance’s meeting was held in a spacious and mysterious hall, with an atmosphere both tense and excited.
Members of the Alliance sat around a long table, with ancient maps and tapestries symbolizing wizardly glory and wisdom hanging on the walls.
David, as an important figure in this resistance movement, was invited to speak at the meeting, and everyone eagerly awaited his sharing of the latest updates on the slave liberation movement.
A round of enthusiastic applause erupted, with many wizards expressing admiration for David’s courage and decision-making abilities.
They believed that under David’s leadership, the resistance forces would continue to grow, achieving freedom and justice.
However, within this chorus of praise, there were also some concerns.
"But we must be vigilant," spoke a tall, slender wizard with sharp eyes. His name was Selas, a senior member of the Alliance.
"The Slave Organization will not easily abandon what they have built. They will secretly plot retaliation, and our victory might provoke an even bigger backlash."
"Selas is right," another wizard echoed, "The forces behind those we have struck down should not be underestimated. If we let our guard down, we will pay a painful price."
These words sparked murmurs, with anxiety and unease filling every corner.
Before this, the victories brought by David filled everyone with hope, but they also understood that the struggle was far from over.
The Slave Organization had always been hidden in the shadows.
The high wizards of the Wizard Alliance hadn’t acted so far because they feared the Sixth-Ring Mage backing them, maintaining a superficial calm.
It was David’s sudden appearance that broke this tacit understanding, successfully eradicating the Slave Organization, but the retaliation from the Sixth-Ring Mage behind it couldn’t be ignored.
David knew this Sixth-Ring Mage might be the controller behind Blood Shadow Island.
He wanted to explore Blood Shadow Island, and there would inevitably be a battle between them.
...
In the following time.
David began exploring Blood Shadow Island based on the information he obtained.
"We have already found some clues."
A young Dragon Descendant Mage walked into the castle where David was, looking a little excited.
"According to ancient documents, Blood Shadow Island is surrounded by a mist and gales. Only at specific times will a safe passage appear on the sea surface."
"Specific times?" David frowned slightly, realizing that finding this island wouldn’t be easy. "What kind of information do we need to determine the timing?"
The young Dragon Descendant Mage opened the scroll in his hand, densely recorded with ancient runes and legends.
"According to these records, we need to find three specific marine creatures: the Tidal Ray, Ghost Octopus, and Radiant Shark.
On each new moon night, these three creatures will swim through that area, opening the door to Blood Shadow Island for us."
"Understood," David thought to himself.
"Then, let’s split up!" he commanded. "Find those three creatures, and in the meantime, I’ll continue to enhance my Source of Magic Power to prepare for the forthcoming challenges."
The Dragon Descendant Mages nodded in agreement, working together to take action.
Finally, the new moon night arrived as expected.
Under the starlit sky, the sea revealed its profound and mysterious side.
As the tide rose, a large Tidal Ray surfaced, gliding gracefully like a cloud floating on the water’s surface.
"Found it!" The lookout shouted excitedly. "The Tidal Ray has appeared! Stay with it!"
Everyone quickly followed behind, and just then, a Ghost Octopus slowly emerged from the sea floor, moving elegantly with its phantasmal transparency, making one hold their breath.
As the two met, even more delightfully, that Radiant Shark swiftly swam from a distance, slicing through the water surface with what seemed like a flash of silver light!
"All three creatures are gathered! Now is the best time to enter Blood Shadow Island!"
An excited Dragon Descendant Mage said, steering the ship towards the misty area.
David stood at the bow, feeling the increasing surge of magic power within him, activating that mastered Bloodline Power.
As the ship sailed into the mist, an invisible but powerful energy began to fill the surroundings, indicating the gateway to Blood Shadow Island was about to open.
As the ship entered deeper into the mist, the world around them was suddenly enveloped in thick white fog, drastically reducing visibility.
David and his companions tightly gripped the ship’s rail, surrounded by the sound of waves crashing against the boat and the whistling of the wind.
"Stay alert!" David shouted loudly.
He knew any lapse in this environment could lead to unforeseen crises.
He concentrated, trying to sense the magical fluctuations of the surrounding environment.
Just then, a bright light flickered through the mist.
David’s heart trembled—that was the Radiant Shark’s brilliance!
It cut through the water surface like a lightning trajectory, guiding them in a direction.
Evidently, this creature had become their critical guide to Blood Shadow Island.
"Follow it!"
A Dragon Descendant Mage shouted, and everyone steered in the direction of the Radiant Shark’s swim.
As the ship continued forward, the mist gradually became transparent and clear.
Before them, a mysterious and ancient island slowly revealed itself.
A unique and powerful magical aura enveloped the island, inspiring awe.
"Blood Shadow Island..."
David murmured, finally witnessing the legendary place.
The island’s foliage was vibrantly colorful, with various exotic plants competing to grow, and in the distance, towering into the clouds were clusters of peculiar rune-inscribed building ruins scattered about.
This further convinced him that this place was once a crucial site for Bloodline Mages to conduct alchemy and experiments.
Just then, a low and mysterious chant echoed from the island’s depths, mesmerizing and captivating the soul like a lullaby.
