Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon?-Chapter 968 - 638: Blood King Monger (Part 2)
It's a kind of ritual sense that keeps people curious about the unknown, with some slight fear, a little excitement, and even more fighting spirit!
The feeling of passing through the Fog Gate hits us, and a few seconds later, the figures of the Skyrim Strategy Group vanish from this place.
Some time after they left, a strange phenomenon occurred on the ground, as golden Summoning Symbols emerged.
["Golden Needle Knight" Reida]
An unknown person's Summoning Symbol quietly lay there, but that wasn't the end.
More Summoning Symbols began to slowly appear around it.
["Red Lion" Freya], ["Fallen Leaf" Dane], [Huriye]...
"Is there any change?"
Having passed through the Fog Gate, entering this deathmatch arena with the boss, Luluwo immediately went on full alert, cautiously scanning the surroundings.
Whether it was his imagination or not, he felt that the atmosphere around them was shifting towards a full oppressive ambiance, the blood flames on the ground twisting even more severely.
She tried touching the blood flames and felt a temperature lower than that of normal flames, insufficient to harm her given her current physique.
But in the next moment, she quickly retracted her hand, a look of fear lingering on her face.
"Everyone, don't touch that thing. It can induce a frenzy in your blood, as if it's ready to burst out of your body at any moment."
Meanwhile, Fudolin had already strode towards the giant cocoon, lava flowing from her hands as if at any moment she'd unleash a powerful meteor volcano on it.
Perhaps sensing the threat, the cocoon, along with the whole scene, finally began to change.
"Boom!"
The blood flames before Fudolin suddenly surged from the tiles, forming a low fire wall that entwined like a thicket in front of her.
She immediately halted her steps; after all, she who depended on physical strength was very wary of such things.
The surrounding blood flames burst out as if fueled by gas stoves, twisting and dancing wildly in the air, turning the ever-dark sky a crimson red, an irresistible feeling both enchanting and deadly surged towards everyone.
At the peak of this eerie and terrifying atmosphere, the arm extended from the cocoon towards the sky suddenly bent and fell powerlessly to the ground.
"Drip, drip..."
Dark blood beads emerged from within the cocoon, trickling down the arm's arc and onto the ground.
The speed of the blood dripping accelerated, eventually forming a small stream, slowly creating a pool of blood which, amidst the familiar environment yet uncomfortable here, began to take shape.
And the moment the blood pool formed, waves began to continuously surge from within, as if something was about to appear.
"There's something inside there!"
As Luluwo said these words, Fudolin acted.
She swung a heavy punch towards the direction of the blood pool, hurling magma with terrifying heat, perfectly covering it.
She intended to heavily damage whatever's inside the blood pool before it could appear!
However, the surrounding blood flames didn't give her this opportunity.
With an increasingly intense sound of burning, the blood flames twisted together to form an indefinable human shape, howling and rushing forward to block the magma, these figures identical to the walking dead lurking in the Blood Dynasty.
They seemed like the loyal subjects protecting their king!
Seeing this, Fudolin still wanted to continue attacking, but time was already running out.
A black silhouette slowly rose from the blood pool!
It wore a black robe similar to the Blood Nobles, yet added with an abundance of rich color, exactly the attire a king should have.
Even with its back to the crowd, one could see the distinctly horned head, the entire being an image of a demon.
This was the king of the Blood Dynasty, the Demigod depicted on the protective talisman –
Monger!
Upon his appearance, everyone felt enormous pressure, as if a Divine Beast had descended, activating its special ability.
This sensation they only ever felt from Latan's presence, and that figure left them with no doubt!
A Demigod!
And also the Fragment King!
"My Michaela..."
Monger's voice was cold yet with a hidden sharpness, the very voice and tone of a hero of great strategy and ambition.
Yet within this voice was a fascination, an almost misplaced gentleness, and perhaps even... longing?
Moreover, his first words upon appearing left everyone puzzled.
Michaela? That name sounded so familiar, where had they heard it before? What's the relationship between the Blood King and Michaela?
Then something even more surprising to them happened.
Monger gently lifted his withered palm, bending down gracefully, leaving a kiss upon that arid skin!
So it's Michaela wrapped in the cocoon!?
At that moment, Luluwo finally remembered why Monger looked so familiar to her.
This guy had appeared in the Sain Dungeon images, and when he did, there was a child of indeterminate gender and appearance, but with soft golden hair covering their entire body!
Years of mixing in Sain Dungeon and witnessing all sorts of bizarre events led to a disturbing notion for Luluwo:
"Could it be that the child in the image was the one inside the cocoon?"
"Is that Michaela?"
"How did they grow so big!?"
While she wallowed in odd speculation, the impatient Fudolin was already in motion again, breaking through the barrier of blood flames, hurling a punch towards Monger.
"Michaela, just wait for me a little longer."
Even when facing such power and heat behind him, Monger seemed filled with a unique elegance, his gentle tone making one think of a dashing gentleman.
He gently laid down his palm, his body similar to the Omen Demon slowly turning.
For unexplained reasons, people felt his aura shift in that moment of turning, from gentlemanly to kingly!
"An honored guest has arrived."
Suddenly, there appeared an excessively large Trident Spear in his hand, swung effortlessly to clash violently with Fudolin's fist.
Instantly, the ground quaked, the spear's blood flames and the fist's magma collided violently, blood red and fiery red splattering all around!
Fudolin retreated actively, landing on the ground taking a couple of deep breaths, intently staring at Monger.
She could feel that this guy's power was actually matched evenly with hers!
"Bear witness to our magnificent dynasty!"
The delighted king opened his arms wide, demonstrating welcome to the visiting adventurers!
Blood flames soared towards the night sky, turning the black night completely into a blood-red hue!
"This guy, he wasn't injured at all?"
The sharp-eyed Berto stared intently at Monger's right hand holding the spear, looking for any sign of injury.
But there was none; after smashing a punch from Fudolin, he stood as if unscathed, without the slightest quiver of his arm, not even his clothes were soiled.
Not even the phrase "slightly soiled at the edges" could apply.
"Is this really something we should be challenging?" Luluwo looked back at her companions.
One, two, three, four... there were only five of them in total!
Five against a demigod?
And they were facing someone who appeared in the images of Sain Dungeon and was absolutely not to be messed with?
You tell me, has any entity that appeared in the images of Sain Dungeon ever been something five people could handle?
"Oh, king, we mean no disrespect, it was just by accident..."
Luluwo still wanted to try communicating with Monger, finding that the refined courtesy and elegance he showcased earlier were worlds apart from other bosses, and past successful communication with the Platinum Son gave Luluwo some confidence.
However, before she could finish her words, Fudolin transformed into a stream of lava meteors, ascending fiercely, hurtling down towards Monger like cannonry.
"Don't start the fight so quickly, you damn fool!!!"
Over on Monger's side, he cast a sidelong glance at Fudolin, elegantly extending his hand forward.
A blood-colored tide, sufficient to sweep through the entire area, surged head-on!
