Sain Thanksgiving Festival.

The text is perfectly normal, yet somehow, when arranged, it gives a very bizarre feeling.

Feels like a name that would appear in a racy book…

What am I thinking? Gapar shook his head, got up from the hospital bed, and said:

"No need to notify Uffie, I'll go find her myself."

"But what about your health? It might be better to do a few more check-ups to confirm your condition. The physicians can start the examination anytime," the physician said.

"No need, if something happens to my body, I can just go to Sain and kill myself once."

Saying this, Gapar waved his hand, tore off the hospital gown, and was immediately dressed in his usual casual robe, who knows where he pulled it from.

"...That dungeon makes people not fear death at all nowadays."

The physician watched Gapar's retreating back and couldn't help but comment.

Using a small trick with Fighting Qi, Gapar walked all the way out of the sanatorium without anyone noticing him, reducing unnecessary pleasantries.

This sanatorium is one of the few still-intact buildings in the Imperial Capital. When he came out, he expected it to be crowded with the injured, but found that the flow of people was quite ordinary, with more injuries happening to civil magicians at construction sites.

Oh right, I've been asleep for a week, which means it's been a week since the incident with the Demon Dragon and Younka.

A week is enough time for many things to happen in a world where magic can accomplish many extraordinary things.

Unfortunately, the buildings destroyed in the Imperial Capital were not rebuilt during his coma. In fact, only a basic layout around the Royal Palace has been sorted out, and other destroyed places are still waiting for orders to start reconstruction.

After all, it's the Imperial Capital, so architectural layouts need careful consideration. It's an opportunity to rearrange the old streets, but one can imagine how the officials in charge of this must be pulling their hair out these days.

The residents temporarily displaced by the destruction have been relocated to nearby cities for now, although some quick-witted folks have opted to move directly to Lake Lienia, and some even headed to Red.

You have to admit, with the Sain Dungeon's all-extending Teleportation Gate, life has become much more convenient. People in the Imperial Capital can eat fresh sea fish delivered from Red at any time.

The Imperial Capital is now essentially a large construction site, and until it's fully rebuilt, it can't function as a capital city.

Gapar walked the streets which used to be roads, observing the surroundings, and saw few wandering civilians, making it impossible to gauge people's current states of mind.

For most people in the Imperial Capital, the turmoil that night came and went quickly. There was a lot of property damage but little loss of life. After a week, they have mostly come to terms with it and are ready to face their lives again.

What Gapar regrets the most is that, reportedly, on the night before he woke up, the Golden Tree that pierced the sky stopped emitting its mystical Healing Wave, and its golden shadow gradually disappeared.

However, it seems that the plants of this land were influenced by the Golden Tree, and after its shadow vanished, a slightly smaller but completely golden giant tree appeared where it once stood, bearing a seven to eight-tenths resemblance to the Golden Tree, although without any special abilities.

It makes sense; if the Golden Tree continued to exist, the Imperial Capital would practically become the "fountain" of the Warrior Country, anyone injured could just run to the tree to be healed.

Supposedly, the Royal Family plans to carve a monument on this real Golden Tree to commemorate the history of this incident and those who perished.

Radagon's rune smashed into Black Stone City is still there, glowing every night, captivating many onlookers.

Gapar is now on his way to the Sain Thanksgiving Festival being held outside the city.

He doesn't even need directions because the sound of the festival is so loud it's impossible not to hear it no matter where you are.

When he arrived, he discovered a sea of people, almost like a real-life version of a human ocean.

People were gathered around a tall stage, with screens projecting shows. It looked like a makeshift setup, as it was somewhat crude.

Even though it was midday, the crowd didn't diminish at all; they cheered loudly at the shows on stage.

The festival was guided by people from the Yanor Kingdom under the invitation of Prince Temud.

Just like how after the Shadow Turmoil ended, the Yanor Kingdom held a ceremony for Sain, this Thanksgiving Festival was also to celebrate Sain, with the same purpose although slightly different in form.

Since the damage caused by the Demon Dragon and Younka was much greater than Eliphas', people's appreciation for the resolution by Sain had only increased, and the atmosphere at the scene was very lively.

Gapar looked around but didn't see Uffie, so he took a glance at the show on stage.

The show's content involved a group of adventurers on an expedition encountering all sorts of unexpected events, like suddenly being hit with dung thrown by a Peach-furred Beast, or having their hair washed by Gollum, or being double-teamed by Stone Statue Ghost all of a sudden.

The performers were probably professional comedians, making their every move hilarious, bringing constant laughter to the audience and effectively alleviating public stress.

It kind of feels like these situations must play out among adventurers every day...

The audience was having a great time watching, but some adventurers who had really been through such experiences had dark faces.

"Interesting."

Gapar found it quite amusing too, after all, watching others make fools of themselves is the best show.

However, what happened next was when an elderly actor appeared on stage wielding a sword, acting dignified and performing advanced swordsmanship, effortlessly defeating attacking Monsters.

Gapar suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu about the character the actor was playing.

Next, several Monsters resembling giant cockroaches appeared, spraying some unknown liquid on the old actor. The sword in his hand melted upon contact with the liquid, and the old actor immediately cried over the remains of his beloved treasure sword before being sneak-attacked and killed by a Curse Frog from behind.

The crowd burst into laughter, much louder than for the previous acts.

Later, the old actor returned with a new treasure sword, killed those damned Rust Monsters and Curse Frogs for good, and performed an admirable action scene that received applause.

"..."

Gapar's mouth slowly opened wide, his expression becoming quite spectacular.

If he had been drinking water just now, he probably would have spat it out.

Isn't this damn performance about his first encounter in the Sain Dungeon!!!

No wonder it felt familiar, it turned out to be about him!

"Old age even brings such catastrophes..."

Back then, the news of him shedding first blood in the Sain Dungeon spread wildly around the world. Who knows how these adventure details got out.

Embarrassing, too embarrassing!

Just then, with his keen eyes, Gapar suddenly noticed that one of the actors playing the Rust Monsters looked very familiar.

It's Uffie...

"Slap!" He covered his eyes with one hand.

If there's anything more humiliating than having your dark history turned into a stage play, it's that your daughter is one of the actors in that history.

This world is too unfriendly to the elderly!

Gapar hurriedly fled the scene.

Since he ran so fast, he missed the later performances that paid tribute to his glorious moments, like single-handedly defeating the Demon King Bloodline, all praised by the world.

Meanwhile, in the temporary Royal Palace.

"Your Majesty, there's no need to think further, just properly worship the Sain Dungeon, and the entire kingdom will have favorable weather."

"This matter... I need to consider it some more."

After dismissing the ministers, King Banto sat quietly alone, pondering thoughts almost all related to the Sain Dungeon.

The Sain Dungeon's recent performance was well-received, even the previously disinterested ministers became tempted, wanting to emulate the Yanor Kingdom by giving Sain a "National Dungeon" title.

Banto always felt this was somewhat rash and needed more consideration.

However, he now also attached importance to that dungeon, because his ancestors mentioned focusing on it.

But before considering matters related to the Sain Dungeon, he had other affairs to deal with.

Several important documents lay on his desk.

[Madness Qi Dragon—Investigation Report on the Hidden Purebred Giant Dragon and Demon Dragon Plague]

[Exploration Plan for the Hidden Giant Dragon Floating Island]

[Younka's Estate Inventory Report and Cooperation Terms with the Magic Association]

[Feasibility Study on Removing Dragon Clan Traits from Our People's Bloodline]

...

Numerous reports filled his desk, and the workload was mountainous.

Ever since that night, the Madness Qi Dragon and the demon dragons disappeared into the Sain Dungeon, and the matter of the purebred Dragon Clan had little to do with him; it was for Elo to worry about.

Speaking of Elo...

Banto remembered, not long ago someone reported that Elo had been badly beaten by an unknown dragon in the Sain Dungeon, and for a while, even the sight of a red dragon gave him PTSD, not even Abel could get close.

The thought of the invincible Elo being reduced to such a state made Banto chuckle a bit.

However, thinking about how he was fooled by Younka, he stopped laughing, feeling quite foolish about it.

Younka had disappeared, but left many mysteries behind.

Banto had already commissioned the Magic Association to investigate everything related to Younka, to find out if there were any lingering threats.

Today, the Magic Association sent a survey report, and its contents were unexpectedly related to Younka's Mentor.

It was this person who caused the people of the Warrior Country to be mixed with the Dragon traits, making Banto hate him to death.

But about this person, he knew nothing, not even having heard Younka mention him, making him very mysterious.

The Magic Association also said that records too old might be lost and difficult to find, they could only do their best, and some powerful magicians wouldn't keep personal records in the association.

Banto glanced at the report, his eyes suddenly sharpening.

[Younka's Mentor, Name Unknown, Related Information Missing]

[According to existing records, he was once an experienced Alchemist, then switched to become a Magician, proficient in magic related to life, but specific research unknown]

[Fond of traveling, left traces of experiments in various countries, with documents stating——]

[He had once ventured into the Western Continent occupied by the Demon Clan]
