Chapter 910: Chapter 909: Surrogacy Contract (Part 3)

Eva Nightingale once again had Aunt Fang entirely wrapped around her finger.

Aunt Fang couldn’t resist Eva’s gentle way of speaking, so she agreed, "Young Madam, I will arrange a car for you to go to the Presidential Mansion right away."

After all, her safety came first, and the best chauffeur had to be arranged.

Moreover, that man had instructed that Eva must be treated well, and whatever she said was to be done. So even though she went out in the middle of the night, no one dared to stop her.

The car was quickly prepared. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Eva got in the car, and Aunt Fang instructed the driver to drive carefully. Once she saw the car drive away, she returned to the villa with peace of mind.

...

Throughout the journey, Eva kept her gaze on the scenery flashing by outside the car window.

It was unclear how long it took before the black luxury car stopped smoothly in front of the luxurious and solemn Presidential Mansion, with a stone plaque and a circular arch standing at the entrance.

"Young Madam, you may get out now." The chauffeur politely opened the car door.

Hearing this, Eva nodded and said "Thank you," then bent down to get out of the car.

The bodyguards at the entrance of the Presidential Mansion recognized Eva because that man had brought her here many times, always by his side, so they all knew her.

"Miss Nightingale, may I ask what brings you here?" The bodyguards at the Presidential Mansion didn’t know she was the Young Madam of the Knight Clan, because the Presidential Mansion and Lanwan Courtyard were not in the same place. Eva was not the First Lady, hence they addressed her as Miss Nightingale.

"Our Young Madam is here to see the President!" The chauffeur chimed in.

As they talked, nearby, the patrolling Harry North stood stunned, looking in Eva’s direction.

Then he walked towards Eva, "Young Madam, you..."

Eva looked at Harry North, "I’m here to see him. Harry, could you help convey my message?" The Presidential Mansion stood imposingly, and she couldn’t enter without permission, so she had to wait outside the protective barrier.

Harry North hesitated for a few seconds before replying, "The Crown Prince is not at the Presidential Mansion..."

"Where did he go?" Eva asked.

"He hasn’t eaten all day, was busy at the Presidential Mansion, and then went to the company."

The company?

Even after knowing him for so long, Eva wasn’t even sure where the Knight Clan’s company was.

Harry North explained, "Emperor Grand Group, located in the city’s prime location where every inch of land is valuable. Young Madam, it’s best not to trouble yourself, he doesn’t want to see anyone, and he won’t—"

Harry North had been scolded by him all day, and was still at the Presidential Mansion.

Harry North was worried that if Eva went, she would be stopped by the company staff.

Interestingly enough, usually the matters at the company were managed by Harry North. Today was peculiar; the big boss who hardly ever went to Emperor Grand Group actually went.

"Thank you, Harry." Eva turned around and got into the car, telling the driver, "Driver, please take me to Emperor Grand Group."

She didn’t know if he was deliberately ignoring her or if he was genuinely ill!!

Either way, Eva felt troubled in her heart, but then she thought Dr. Meng probably wouldn’t deceive her.

Emperor Grand Group, this building, stood 188 floors tall, the most magnificent office building in the entire Sovereign Empire. It’s said to be the tallest building in the Empire.

So dazzling and eye-catching, Eva only glanced up at it, a towering structure reaching high into the clouds, and felt it was supremely noble—it was indeed out of her reach.

A Rolls-Royce Phantom was parked in front of the building, Lucas Knight’s car.

Eva got out of the car and walked toward the company lobby.

She was quickly stopped by the front desk staff, "Sorry miss, please hold on."
