Gia found it surprising and amusing—coming all this way just for a zipper? Were there no servants at the estate?

But she didn’t mock her; she just accepted her showing off and raised her hand to help zip it up.

It seemed to be truly stuck. To avoid breaking it, Gia applied moderate force, paying attention to the technique.

"Oh, my brother is really something, insisting on taking me to a friend’s birthday party. This dress was designed especially for me. It’s quite expensive.
