When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster-Chapter 825: High Work Efficiency
Rachel Sherman hadn’t encountered such an interesting thing in a long time. "Okay, I got it." She replied with a smile.
Just as Jasmine Quinn froze, thinking she had heard wrong, Rachel Sherman bypassed her and headed towards the elevator.
Jasmine Quinn suddenly glanced over, "..." What does this woman mean? What did she understand? Did she really get it?
As the elevator doors opened, Rachel Sherman hadn’t stepped inside yet; the two female employees chatting energetically inside suddenly stopped talking and pulled back their gossiping smiles upon seeing her.
They took one look at Rachel Sherman and quickly left.
Rachel Sherman furrowed her brows slightly, choosing not to look back. She minded her own business; having joined Fletcher Group, she was determined to contribute.
Back in the president’s office, she coordinated with Ben Fletcher and began drafting materials.
"Rachel, this report is quite urgent. Please verify it by noon and send it to Supervisor Peterson’s office on the 10th floor. Is there any pressure? The client needs it urgently."
Rachel took the report, skimmed through it, and confidently said, "It’s doable. Don’t worry; I’ll have it done in two hours."
"Alright, thank you for your hard work." Ben Fletcher returned to his desk, organizing materials while saying, "I need to head out this morning to deliver some files to the client."
"Go ahead, be safe, I’ll handle things here."
Chase Fletcher spent less than half an hour in the office all morning; he had two meetings, for which Ben had prepared the materials in advance.
Essentially, Rachel Sherman was alone in the office, quietly organizing the report, checking, verifying.
She scanned it into the computer, made an electronic version, and printed out a clean and tidy copy again.
Her work efficiency was undeniably fast.
This report originally had no electronic version and existed only in one copy. Not only was she efficient, but she was also meticulous, knowing to keep a backup.
Around ten in the morning, she held the freshly printed report, arriving at Supervisor Peterson’s office door, ready to knock.
"Who are you looking for?" Just as she raised her hand, a female employee nearby called out to her.
Rachel turned towards the sound, seeing two female employees at their desks in the large office outside the supervisor’s office, both looking at her.
"I’m looking for your supervisor." Rachel introduced herself with a smile, "I’m Rachel from the president’s office. I have an important report to deliver to him."
One of the female employees tapped a box on the corner of her desk, where some files were placed, and said indifferently, "You can put it here. Not everyone can enter the supervisor’s office."
However, this report was very important. Rachel hesitated for a moment but eventually placed the file in the box pointed out by the female employee.
They must be Supervisor Peterson’s assistants, right? It indeed was a file box, clearly labeled.
"Please make sure he gets it." Rachel was very polite.
"Yes," the female employee nodded. "All morning files will be delivered together. You can leave."
Seeing this, Rachel nodded in relief, "Sorry for the trouble. Thank you." Then she turned and left.
Taking the elevator back to the president’s office, Rachel was still the only one there.
She watered the office greenery a bit, then sat back at her desk and began busily working on the next phase of her tasks.
Ben Fletcher returned around noon, "Rachel, would you like to join me in the cafeteria?" His work had gone smoothly.
"Sure," Rachel casually agreed. "Is Chase still in a meeting?"
"He’ll be dining with clients today, accompanied by other executives, so we won’t be needed," Ben said. "We generally don’t participate when there are no projects to follow up on."
