Chapter 698: Chapter 698: Full Month Banquet

Why did we meet like this in this lifetime?

Faye Turner is a sensitive person; she always overthinks, standing in everyone’s shoes, feeling everyone’s pain and sorrow.

The next day was Joy’s full moon celebration.

Two hundred people were invited, all of them political elites, business magnates, prominent figures in Argent, all of whom had another identity as friends of The Lancaster Family.

Dustin Shepherd had already transformed the courtyard of the old house into a rustic picnic style well in advance.

A children’s play area was specially set up, considering some guests would bring kids along, worried that the children would get bored while the adults drank.

They even brought in some giraffes and adorable alpacas, cutting up lots of fresh carrots, as the kids are most interested in feeding the animals.

The party ran from 8 AM until 8 PM, with eating, drinking, and entertainment arranged perfectly.

All the music at the full moon celebration was performed live by renowned musicians from Italy.

Every hour had its own program, like concerts or gourmet sharing sessions, all in all, putting everyone in a joyful mood.

Adrian Lancaster prepared three outfits for Faye Turner, all very glamorous and eye-catching.

"Adrian, isn’t this a bit too much?" Faye was resistant when she saw them this morning.

"You’re the most dazzling mom, of course, you need to be beautifully dressed." Adrian intentionally kissed her on the forehead and coaxed her into wearing them.

So at Joy’s full moon celebration, Faye Turner also stood out as the center of attention.

She’s young, but poised and gracious, absolutely holding her own as Mrs. Lancaster.

The little princess’s full moon celebration invited several mainstream media to satisfy the outside world’s curiosity about The Lancaster Family’s life.

In the past, Adrian Lancaster was extremely averse to the media.

He never even accepted exclusive interviews; that one time with Rachel Sherman, Faye had to manipulate him into it.

This evening, Rachel was naturally among the invited journalists.

She is Faye’s best friend and was, of course, invited as a friend, but she also brought her camera and was given a media pass.

Adrian Lancaster told her, "Rachel, you can take pictures of everything you see, and you can publish them all."

"Thank you, President Lancaster."

That way, she felt no pressure and wouldn’t be timid or hesitant.

"Faye, you look so beautiful." She genuinely complimented her, seeing her friend looking better and better, knowing she had married the right person.

Rachel sincerely felt happy for her.

Faye and she exchanged glances, touched, she pursed her lips and hugged her, "Thank you, Rachel."

Rachel had been busy with work, but still made time to visit Faye seven times this month.

"Work is important, but don’t wear yourself out." Faye truly cared for her, knowing she still had to look after June at night.

Since her divorce from Dylan Shaw, she had been on the path of a strong woman.

"Yes, yes." Rachel nodded, always putting on a cheerful front to reassure her friend, "Don’t worry about me, I’m fine, the kid is healthy, work is smooth."

Just then, not far away, Chase Fletcher and Kylie Fletcher stepped out of a luxury car.

Kylie wore a red gown, sparkling, with crystal shoes, very eye-catching.

With her first drama series now airing, she’s already a very famous actress.

She linked her arm with Chase Fletcher, and the siblings, smiling, walked towards Adrian Lancaster.

Having just hugged Rachel, Faye saw the pair and let go of her friend.

Out of decorum, as Mrs. Lancaster, she had to welcome them, "Rachel, hold on a moment, I’ll go greet the guests and catch up with you later."

"Alright, you go ahead." Rachel watched her leave. Then, she accidentally saw Chase Fletcher in his suit, and the pretty actress beside him.

Rachel’s heart skipped a beat, her smile faltering slightly.

Soon after, her eyes showed a hint of melancholy.

Carrying a wine glass, she quickly turned around, afraid Chase Fletcher might see her.

In the next few seconds, her mind was a bit dazed.
