Not far away, Nanny Warren silently watched the scene, thinking to herself—crazy, crazy, crazy!
The kitchen had just received a notification that Adrian and Miss Turner would be back soon and have lunch here.

The old man came downstairs with a sullen face, approached Sienna Dawson. The woman raised the tea bag with both hands, their eyes met; she still had a radiant smile.

With a box of wine from the trunk that grandfather had been longing for, Adrian Lancaster wrapped his arm around Faye’s shoulder and stepped towards the living room with her.
Eliza Hayes appeared calm, but inside, she smiled; this was the situation she wanted to see, sooner or later choosing one over the other.
The old man shot a cold gaze at his daughter-in-law, rage erupted in his eyes!
Realizing today’s scene was arranged by Eliza Hayes intentionally to trouble Faye and make her sad.
"Eliza, come here." The old man spoke with an iron-clad face.
Hearing him, Eliza Hayes turned, seeing the old man’s back moving towards the nearby rest room.
She hesitated slightly, then looked at the young couple walking in from the courtyard, glanced at Sienna Dawson, and finally followed the elder.
The old man’s state wasn’t right today.
"Father." She softly closed the door upon entering the room, looked at his back, and asked calmly, "What do you need from me?"
The old man stopped, turned around, raised his hand and delivered a slap, striking hard on her face!

The crisp sound, Mrs. Lancaster’s face was turned to the side! She instinctively reached out to cover her face, feeling the burning pain!
This slap was no less weighty than the one Adrian Lancaster gave before, equally heavy-handed! Used full force!
