Leaving the billiards club, Tang Yanqi was already asleep on the sofa. Sheng Jianan carefully picked her up, placed her in the car, and brought her back to the villa, carrying her once again to the bedroom.

Staring at Tang Yanqi’s sleeping face for a few seconds, Sheng Jianan slowly walked out.

On the way back, Qiao Zi called him; there was an urgent matter to address. Sheng Jianan returned to the study, turned on the computer, and held a video conference with the head of the branch on the other side of the ocean.

The meeting lasted for over two hours. By the time he closed the laptop, the window outside was pitch black.
