Wasting Money to Become an Immortal-Chapter 284: Returning in infamy
Once the Four Kings finished with their breakthrough, the first thing that they did was head back to my side.
All of them just lowered their heads in front of me as if they were waiting for something from me.
Seeing them act this way, I couldn’t help shaking my head with a bitter smile.
But as they wanted, I reached my hand out to pat them all on the head.
All of them just enjoyed the feeling of my hand petting them before they suddenly released their auras.
The way that they did it wasn’t as if they had suddenly detected an enemy.
The way that they did this was as if they wanted to show off their power to me.
So I had no choice but to pet them on the head again.
However, I was most likely the only one that could do such a thing.
For everyone else, they couldn’t help taking a step back when they felt the aura of these Four Kings. Even the elders of the Star Peak Sect couldn’t help being pushed back when they felt the aura of the Four Kings.
"Just how powerful are these spirit beasts?"
That was what everyone else thought.
"Is this the power of beasts in the Transcendence Realm?"
That was what the elders of the Star Peak Sect thought.
Eventually, they restrained the aura that they released since there was no longer a need for them to show off any longer.
That was when the elders all came over as if they wanted to say something.
But before they could, I dragged all of them onto the Four Kings and we headed off back to the Star Peak Sect.
I knew what they wanted to say, but I didn’t want to hear it.
So I just tossed them all onto the Four Kings before they were able to react.
This was all thanks to the accelerated state that I received as I pulled out the Wild Raging Spear.
It really was useful in all kinds of situations, though it should be considered a waste to be using it like this.
Well, I was a prodigal, so it was normal for me to use it like this.
The Four Kings didn’t mind...or rather it was better to say that the tortoise didn’t mind as I tossed everyone on its back.
The other members of the Four Kings were just too small for everyone to fit on.
After tossing the elders on, I also made sure to toss the senior brothers and sisters on as well before having Bolt suddenly turn bigger.
It was just a whim, but it turned out that I was right in asking since Bolt suddenly became big enough for all of us to ride after I asked if he could transform his size.
That way, we weren’t all stuck on Igneel’s back as we headed back to the Star Peak Sect.
Everyone still complained to me, but I had Bolt fly apart from Igneel in the end which meant that I wasn’t able to hear a single thing that they said.
The Great Elder was the one that realized this and shook his head with a sigh before falling silent.
The only thing that he was thinking now was...how to get the ancestor out of his closed door cultivation.
After all, there was no point staying in closed door cultivation if there was a living cheat in the sect. It was better to just get what they could from that living cheat and break through that way instead of gaining nothing from their usual closed door cultivation sessions.
With the speed of the Four Kings, it didn’t take us long to arrive back at the Star Peak Sect.
The moment that we arrived, everyone from the Star Peak Sect came out with weapons in hand.
That was because they had felt the aura coming towards them.
Now that the Four Kings had broken through, their auras were anything but weak.
If an enemy at the level of the Four Kings were to invade the Star Peak Sect, there was no doubt that they would be unable to resist.
So that was why Liu Han had led everyone out to fight back against the Four Kings.
They had even activated the sect protecting barrier as if they were prepared to fight all out.
But when they came out and saw us sitting on the back of the Four Kings, there were bitter smiles that appeared on their faces. The way that they looked up at us was almost as if they were saying...
"What did he do this time?"
That was actually what Liu Han said to me as soon as we landed.
"What did you do this time?"
It seemed that I was considered quite infamous in the Star Peak Sect for being a troublemaker.
I just calmly said, "I found some sect guardians for the sect."
As if they had been cued, the Four Kings suddenly released their auras as if they wanted to show off how strong they were.
Many of the disciples couldn’t take it and had to move several steps back when they felt this aura.
Liu Han had a dark look on his face as he said, "Sect guardians? It was one last time and this time you’ve brought back four more spirit beasts that are even stronger...Do you think that we can afford to keep them?"
I patted the four of them on the head before saying, "I’ll feed them, so there’s no problem, right?"
Liu Han really looked like he wanted to beat me up and it wasn’t related to Liu Ao Xue for once.
But the Great Elder said with a sigh, "What can we do about him? It’s not as if we can tie him up in the sect. There’s no way that they’ll allow us to do that."
Liu Han looked at the Great Elder with an aggrieved look, "Great Elder, you can’t do anything?"
The Great Elder just shook his head and said with a sigh, "What can I do about him?"
Then he looked at Liu Han with a more serious look before heading off to the side to talk in secret.
The two of them talked for a bit, looking back at me from time to time.
When they were done, Liu Han came back with a sigh and said, "Fine, do whatever you want."
I didn’t know what the Great Elder said to Liu Han to convince him, but it didn’t feel like it was anything good...
Well, I was a prodigal in the first place, so it wasn’t as if there was anything good about me to begin with.
