As we came forward, we saw that there was a small flower that was currently bent forward.

This small flower seemed to be in a dogeza position as it said this.

I looked down at the small flower with a confused look.

I thought that this small flower would fight to the very end since it still had some spirit beasts and humans that it was controlling that were still charging over here.

I thought that since this small flower was an invader, it wouldn’t give up as long as it didn’t complete its mission.

But it seemed that this small flower didn’t have any pride at all.

The vines that were around us even flopped down as if they were bowing to me as well.

With the way that it was acting, it was as if the small flower had completely submitted to the force that we demonstrated. It was as if the small flower didn’t have any intention of fighting back at all.

It was just that I wouldn’t trust this thing at all.

There was no doubt that this small flower was planning something, but I couldn’t help being curious what it was up to.

As such, I started moving towards the small flower alone.

Seeing that I moved forward on my own, the Four Kings and Mu Bao Bao wanted to come with me. I just raised my hand to stop them from following me forward.

Once I was a few meters away from the small flower, I suddenly stopped. I was surrounded by the vines, but I made sure to keep my spiritual sense on them so I would be able to react the moment that any of them moved.

Standing there, I asked, "So tell me what you are."

The small flower seemed to tremble when it heard this before suddenly saying, "Master, I am a simple flower that grew in the middle of this forest. To protect myself, I had no choice but to parasitize those that were stronger than me."

The spirit beasts that were freed, the Four Kings, and even the humans who had been freed all revealed angry expressions when they heard this.

The way that the small flower had said this was as if it had no choice in the matter.

It was acting as if it was the victim rather than the one that had taken control of everyone.

But I didn’t care about this at all as I said, "Then what does the Green Hell Upper Realm mean to you?"

There was only silence that followed after I said this.

There was a tremble that came from the small flower showing that it clearly didn’t expect me to say this and had been caught off guard by it.

The others all around revealed shocked and confused looks when they heard this. After all, there was no one that expected an upper realm to be brought up all of a sudden.

Though at the same time, there were some people that didn’t know what the upper realm was.

These were those that weren’t affiliated with a powerful force and didn’t have access to this information.

I didn’t rush to say anything as the small flower remained silent. I knew that staying silent would put more pressure on the small flower than actually saying anything.

As expected, the small flower couldn’t take it anymore as it said in a shaky voice, "I have no idea what you’re talking about."

The way that it said this made it obvious that it was lying, but then again, no one was surprised since they had seen how the small flower had acted in the first place.

I just narrowed my eyes to look at the small flower for a bit before saying, "You want to become my slave?"

The small flower looked up a bit before saying, "Yes, master. I’ll be your slave, I’ll be anything you want as long as you let me live."

I gave a simple nod in response before raising my hand and pulling out a talisman to say, "Then let me use this talisman on you. It will create a contract between the two of us that will bind you to me. If you dare betray me, then...well, I don’t need to tell you what will happen."

The small flower just lowered its head to say, "Yes, master. Please use this talisman on me. I’ll be anything that you want."

I gave another nod before moving towards the small flower.

Closer and closer until I was less than a meter away from it.

During all of this, it didn’t seem like the small flower was planning on doing anything.

As I stood over the small flower, I raised the talisman that was in my hand to crush it.

That was the moment that the small flower struck.

There was this root that suddenly came out of the ground.

This root was different from all of the vines that came out of the ground. This root moved at a completely different speed from the vines that had appeared before.

It was so fast that I wasn’t even able to see it in slow motion.

To my eyes, it seemed like it was moving at normal speed even with everything slowing down.

But it wasn’t as if I wasn’t prepared at all.

"Tink."

There was this golden barrier that appeared in front of the root that came out of the ground.

This golden barrier came in between my foot and the root.

No matter how the root tried to break through the barrier, the barrier just pushed it back. In the end, the root was even destroyed because it kept trying to clash against the barrier.

"You fool! You dare attack the young master?"

There was a voice that boomed through the air that made everyone unconsciously cover their ears.

They didn’t cover their ears because it was loud, they covered their ears because of how much power was contained in this voice.
