During all of this, I had been silently watching all of this happen.

But that was only on the surface.

The system didn’t say anything in response to this complaint that I made, almost as if it was playing dead.

The system didn’t say anything, but there was a notification box with three dots that appeared.

It was clear from this what the answer of the system was.

So I already knew what I had to do, but I also knew that it wouldn’t be as easy as before.

This was a pill that was without a doubt something that everyone would want and it was a pill that they would defend much more enthusiastically, so it would be hard for me to destroy it even if it was mine.

But my prodigal soul didn’t allow me to back down.

This was the second reason why I was so into this.

After all, destroying an Immortal Pill in front of everyone...that would be the ultimate move that a prodigal could do in this situation, right?

I was feeling quite enthusiastic about this because of that thought.

Shen Qing Feng slightly knitted his brows when he heard this before asking, "What are you planning to do with it?"

I refused to answer this and instead just said, "It’s my pill, I can do what I want with it."

Even though Shen Qing Feng had a good relationship with Yao Fu, this was one of those times where he couldn’t back down.

"No." Shen Qing Feng said in a serious voice that seemed like it brokered no argument.

When he said this, there were several other elders that suddenly came forward and surrounded Lin Fan as well. None of them brought out weapons, but they did raise their hands as if they were prepared to stop him if he did anything.

Seeing this, I narrowed my eyes to look at them.

"Activating the defense system."

There was a golden light that appeared around me that made it so that I no longer felt Shen Qing Feng’s hand on me.

Shen Qing Feng and all of the elders were surprised to see this golden light around me, but they were even more shocked by what happened next.

"Who dares to steal from the young master?"

As soon as this voice rang out, there was a shockwave that blew away all of the elders that had been surrounding me.

All of them were thrown away from me and they landed on the ground several meters away. All of them suddenly spat out a large mouthful of blood before collapsing on the ground, losing consciousness.

It was clear that not a single one of them was lightly injured.

It might even affect their future cultivation.

The only one that hadn’t been injured was Shen Qing Feng, but there was a look of fear in his eyes as he had felt the same pressure as the other elders. It was just that whoever had said this didn’t use their powers on him.

I narrowed my eyes to look at him and said, "Please release your hand."

Shen Qing Feng trembled when he heard this before unconsciously letting go of me.

Once he let go, I walked forward to the Immortal Pill floating there in the air and reached my hand up.

When I reached my hand up, there was a golden light that came out that grabbed the Immortal Pill out of the sky. It brought the Immortal Pill down right into my palm.

Once that Immortal Pill was in my hand, I threw it down on the ground and smashed it with my foot, just like I had done before with the pill line pill.

As soon as it was smashed, it was as if all the fragrance in the air had disappeared.

It was as if it had been completely erased from this world, leaving no trace behind.

This was completely different from last time where the powder had at least remained in the air. It was as if there was some kind of power that had erased all traces of the Immortal Pill from this world.

After crushing this Immortal Pill, I went back to my table and just stood there in silence, as if nothing had happened.

There was only silence that lingered in the air.
