As we traveled back with this pink haired girl, we found that her name was Mu Bao Bao.

And another thing that we discovered about her was...

Even though she was a Nine Tailed Fox that had gained enough enlightenment to turn into human form, she was actually much younger than she looked.

She looked to be the age of a teenager, but her mentality was like that of a child.

It was clear that after converting her age in years to that of human age, she should still be a child in terms of spirit beast years.

Mu Bao Bao was just one of those kids who grew tall very early, which was why she looked much older than she actually was.

As for how we knew this...

Other than the sect guardian beast matter, there were many other things that she did to show that she was still a kid mentally.

But the one thing that she liked to do the most was...

"Give me another one of those snacks!"

"I want more toys!"

"Are there any more bad guys for me to fight?"

She said all of this while hanging onto my back, just like a kid who was getting a piggyback ride.

Since she decided to join us, it didn’t seem like she wanted to separate from me. She always hung onto me in some shape and form and didn’t seem like she wanted to leave my side.

The only time that I had for myself was when we were sleeping.

At the very least, it seemed like her parents taught her that a man and woman shouldn’t sleep together, so she would always separate when it was time to go to sleep. Though she did sleep very closely to me, always making sure that she was within arm’s length even though she didn’t sleep in the same bed as me.

It really was tough since Mu Bao Bao was a rough sleeper and would always kick me in the middle of the night...

But I was still able to get through it in the end.

After what she did to the flying artifact, it took us another two days to head back to the sect.

This time, the lackeys and Elder Tian suggested that we use the Transport Array to head back, but I rejected this suggestion. After all, I knew that if I were to show up with Mu Bao Bao right away, it would be a disaster.

It was better to take some time to get to know her better and to shave the edges off of her before bringing her back to the sect.

It wasn’t that I was avoiding Liu Ao Xue out of fear of what she would do if she saw Mu Bao Bao hanging onto me.

I tried many things to tame her and it seemed like the best thing to use with her was food.

Whenever we stopped in town, the first thing that she did was find a restaurant to eat and I would be the one that paid for her. Of course, I didn’t pay for her just out of the kindness of my heart, but rather I paid so that I would have leverage over her to train a few things into her.

The first thing that I had to teach her was not to rob people.

As a spirit beast, she naturally didn’t have any money and her first instinct was to take what she wanted.

So she had wanted to beat up the owners of the restaurant and force them to take out food.

I had to teach her that she couldn’t just solve everything with force or else I wouldn’t let her hang around me.

It seemed that the effect of the title was better than I thought as she agreed to not use force under the threat of being forced to leave me.

The second thing that I trained into her was to not let her hang onto me when we returned to the sect. Though that came at the price of letting her hang onto me before we reached the sect.

It was a sort of getting her fill before she wouldn’t be able to do it anymore.

I got her to make all kinds of different promises as well, but that only came after I fed her the food that we ordered.

At first, Mu Bao Bao was eating by herself, but eventually she said, "I want you to feed me."

It was a whim that she got from the feeling that she felt from me, but then once it happened, she didn’t let it stop. In fact, she even demanded that I feed her until we reached the sect.

After all, I said that I couldn’t do it forever, so she just demanded that we do it until we reached the sect.

The way that we acted with each other...it really seemed like we were dating, but I knew that this wasn’t possible.

Mu Bao Bao’s mind wasn’t developed enough to understand feelings of love after all.

"Love? What is that? Is that tasty?" That was what she said when the female lackeys asked her if she was in love.

It was something that a kid that was completely ignorant of the world would say.

So it was clear that she didn’t feel anything close to love.

It was just the effects of the title that was making her follow me.

But the bribing with food really worked well and I was able to train her properly during these few days.
