The next morning, we came back to the first village that we had visited the day before.

However, we didn’t come back empty handed.

There were several large flying artifacts that we were sitting on that all had different supplies on them.

This was what we had rushed back to the town to buy yesterday.

It might have been hard to prepare these things if it was anyone else, but it was easy for me. After all, I didn’t care how much money I spent and just threw money at the merchants to prepare these things as quickly as possible.

But before they left, I added, "Make sure to check on the injured as well. Report anything wrong to me when you get back." At the same time, I handed them some Nine Lives Grass and said, "Make sure to replace the Nine Lives Grass in each of the diffusers."

The lackeys once again nodded before heading off on the flying artifacts.

I turned to the village chief and said, "Let’s go, we’ll set up a cooking area and prepare some food while we’re waiting. Gather up everyone that can help."

The village chief was confused by my words as he said, "But we don’t have any...food..."

His words trailed off when he saw the flying artifact that I brought down.

Seeing all of the food that I had brought with me, the village chief immediately gave a nod and went to find people to help move this food.

While he was doing that, I went off to check on the injured people in this village.

When I came into the building, I could see that everyone here was much better than they were yesterday.

Other than two who were still in a coma, the rest of the people here had recovered.

I checked on the two that were still in a coma and found that they were healing fine. It was just a matter of needing rest before they woke up, so it was fine to leave them alone.

Of course before leaving, I made sure to change the Nine Lives Grass in the diffuser.

When I came back, I saw that the village chief had already finished gathering everyone and had set up an area to start cooking. It was just that no one dared to take the food that was on the flying artifact, as if they were waiting for permission.

The village chief came over when he saw me, but I just waved my hand at him and said, "Hurry up and start cooking. I’m sure that there’s plenty of you that are starving."

The village chief was surprised when he heard this, but then he gave a nod with a touched look on his face. He didn’t say anything to me as he turned around to give everyone gathered by the cooking area a nod.

The moment that they received this nod, the men started moving the food down and the women started cooking the food. Even the children were running around with excited and hungry looks on their faces.

One could just imagine how hungry they had been during this time.

Seeing this, I couldn’t help revealing a faint smile before going forward to help with the cooking.

Or at least I would have if not for Gao Fu Shuai coming back on that flying artifact.

With him were several of the villagers and the village chief of the village he went to.

When they arrived, they had shocked looks on their faces as they couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

I just calmly went over and said, "Come and help out. You’ll need to gather the supplies that you need for your village and load them up. Also, those that can help cook should come and help. We’ll send some food to your village once everything is loaded up."

The villagers and village chief all had emotional looks on their faces when they heard this before they started thanking me for everything.

This happened several more times as the other lackeys brought the villagers and village chief from the other villages.

When it was all over, all of the village chiefs gathered together to thank me one more time.

But as they did it, I just waved to stop them and said, "Don’t worry about it. This is just what should be done."

All of them revealed grateful looks when they heard this, but at the same time...

There were some of them that revealed awkward looks.

Finally, the village chief of this village couldn’t help stepping forward and lowering his head as he said, "Young master, I’m sorry." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

I was surprised to see this, but the village chief continued by saying, "I was wrong to doubt the intentions of the young master..." After a pause, he took a deep breath and said, "I even thought that the young master had run away because of the spirit beasts."

I looked at this village chief before looking at the other village chiefs and saying, "Did you really think so little of me?"

All of them revealed awkward looks when they heard this.
