Bella Acker looked at Rhonda expressionlessly, not wanting to waste any more words explaining.

Rhonda smiled slightly, "Alright, I’ve met the person now, and I’ve spent enough time here. It’s about time I get on with my own business. Sister Acker, I hope the next time we meet, we’ll both have changed." With that, she put on her sunglasses and walked towards the door.

"Wait." Bella called after her, "Since you have your own background, why did you still follow Farah Garner’s plan to frame me for stealing?"

From Rhonda’s words, she could rely on her background to snatch the role from Phoebe, indicating her background is definitely strong enough not to really fear Farah’s threats.

"Because it’s fun." Rhonda chuckled softly, saying no more to Bella as she pulled her suitcase out the hotel door.

Bella stood at the door, watching as someone came out and took the suitcase from Rhonda, leading her to a Maybach parked at the hotel’s entrance.

Having been around Damian Sinclair, Bella had picked up quite a bit about these things, even without trying.

The estimated price for this Maybach in the country is at least around eight million.

Now that Rhonda got into this car, the person backing her must be no ordinary figure.

Bella truly hadn’t expected that the role of Hera would fall to her after so many twists and turns.

Bella frowned, thinking, as two people walked past her.

"Wow, was that car just now a Maybach?"

"I’m not sure, I don’t recognize it. But in this small city, I doubt anyone could afford a Maybach. Maybe you saw it wrong."

"That could be." They said as they walked past Bella.

Bella turned her head to glance at the car’s tail that had already left, then returned to her room to change clothes and head to the set.

When she arrived at the set, Archer Quinn, Vivian Norris, and Sharon Cheney were all shooting a scene. Instead of going directly to the dressing room, she went to Director Ford.

Bella entered the studio, cheerfully greeted everyone inside, and said, "Director Ford, I’m back."

"Hm, since you’re back, go get your makeup done. There’s a scene for you tonight." Director Ford nodded and said nothing more.

Bella stood still, not leaving immediately, prompting Director Ford to look at her with some confusion, "Anything else?"

"There’s something I wanted to ask you, but it’s not urgent, you go ahead first."

Director Ford glanced back at the monitor, motioned for two assistant directors to come over and watch, then took out a cigarette and walked out of the studio.

Bella followed him out.

Director Ford lit a cigarette, took a puff, and exhaled, then asked, "What do you want to know?"

Bella didn’t beat around the bush, "Director Ford, I want to know if I got the role of Hera because I passed the audition, or was there another reason?"

"Does it matter?" Director Ford pinched the cigarette, squinting at her through the smoke.

Bella was silent. She didn’t know if it really mattered, but she truly wanted to know the reason now.
