Seeing her like this, a faint smile appeared on Damian Sinclair’s consistently stern face.
He said, "I can’t free up my hands while holding you. Do you want to walk out yourself?"
Bella Acker froze. Her legs were so weak that she couldn’t even stand. How could she walk out herself?
This jerk, he clearly knows this but still asks, just to make her obey!

Bella Acker raised her head, puffing her cheeks as she looked at him.
Damian Sinclair also lowered his head to look at her.
Bella Acker pouted, "Then beg me. If you do, I’ll open the door."
Damian Sinclair raised an eyebrow slightly, "Are you sure?" 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
"Of course..." Bella Acker originally wanted to confidently say, of course I’m sure, but as soon as the words were about to leave her mouth and she met Damian Sinclair’s gaze, her confidence faltered, "Of... of course I’m not sure. Bad guy, always bullying me."
Bella Acker pouted, stretched out a hand from within the wrapped coat to unlock the door. She took a glance outside and found that all the secretaries and assistants had indeed left, finally letting out a sigh of relief.
Thankfully, this jerk doesn’t enjoy being watched, otherwise she’d really want to bang her head against a wall.
Damian Sinclair noticed all her little expressions, a hint of amusement in his eyes. He led her into the bathroom of the CEO’s office and said, "Shower by yourself, there are shirts of mine in the cabinet."
"And... and what about you?" Bella Acker instinctively asked. She thought, the heating in the office is enough, and he had sweated earlier, doesn’t he need a shower?
"Ms. Acker, if you don’t mind sharing, I certainly have no issues," Damian Sinclair said, "but I’m concerned your body might not handle it."
It’s just a shower, why wouldn’t her body handle it?
Bella Acker was initially stunned, then realized the implication in his words. Her slightly relaxed expression quickly turned rosy, "You go out! I need to shower!" Saying that, she pushed him out of the bathroom and locked the door.
Damian Sinclair stood outside the bathroom for a while. Bella Acker watched his tall and upright silhouette through the frosted glass until he left, then hugged her head and frantically rubbed it twice.
Bella Acker, you idiot! How did you end up losing out again!
It’s always like this. She starts off with a well-made plan, but once she meets Damian Sinclair, her plans get disrupted instantly, completely falling into his rhythm!
Bella Acker hummed discontentedly twice, turned on the hot water, thinking, well, since she lost out anyway, Damian has to help Ms. Flynn.
Damian Sinclair changed into a set of clothes in the lounge and then sat back at his position. The video conference on the computer was still on, and the executives on the other side of the network were still waiting.
"Continue," Damian Sinclair turned on his camera on his end and said lightly.
The executives on the video were surprised by his sudden return and the fact that he changed his shirt and tie. They were momentarily stunned before reacting and continuing the previously unfinished discussion.
However, in their minds, they were all silently speculating, what did Boss just go and do that required changing clothes? The amount of information seemed quite substantial.
Bella Acker finished her shower, and instead of changing into Damian Sinclair’s clothes, she came out wearing her slightly rumpled sweater.
Damian Sinclair glanced up at her, signaling with his eyes for her to wait beside him.
Bella Acker had a request, and since she hadn’t accomplished it, she naturally wouldn’t leave early. She looked around, walked over, and sat down on the nearby sofa.
The executives in the video conference naturally also noticed Damian Sinclair’s previous action, and everyone subtly exchanged a knowing glance.
