Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!-Chapter 250: Listen to This Quantifier—One of the Illegitimate Daughters!
Thea Shaw’s biological clock is very punctual, almost waking up at the same time as Lauren Blair.
Chloe Shaw slept late and was still in bed. Mr. Shaw was staying in this star-rated hotel for the first time and felt a bit uneasy. Knowing Lauren Blair and others were awake, he went over to knock on the door, and Thea Shaw had the hotel bring breakfast up.
Felix Finch also woke up early and came over in the morning to peek and ask, "Is Chloe awake?"
"No, she’s still sleeping." 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Thea Shaw replied while washing her face, "She should be up in a bit."
Felix Finch blinked, a little disappointed, "Alright then."
Thea Shaw glanced at him, "Why don’t you come in and have breakfast together?"
Felix Finch immediately cheered up, "Sure!"
He just wanted to come in to see Chloe, but it wasn’t appropriate to go in while she was sleeping. Seeing Lauren and Mr. Shaw, Felix politely greeted them.
He seemed to have a special knack for winning over the elders. Even though Lauren and Mr. Shaw knew he was several years younger than Chloe, they couldn’t help but like this sweet-talking young man.
Today is the last day of the weekend. In the afternoon, time is set to return to Chloe’s place. After looking at the house, there wouldn’t be much time left for fun.
Thea Shaw thought for a moment and called Mrs. Sutton to ask if she’d like to have lunch with the Shaw Family parents.
Mrs. Sutton happily agreed. Unfortunately, both Aurora Sutton and Zia Sutton had things to do at school today, and Mr. Sutton also had work, so they couldn’t come along.
No rush, since Lauren and the others will be living in Aethelgard from now on, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet.
Felix just found out about Thea’s situation and was quite amazed. He didn’t expect a plot from TV dramas to happen in real life. Even more surprising was that Thea seemed to have a good relationship with the daughter swapped with her family, which was indeed unexpected.
As time approached, everyone woke Chloe up. Once she was dressed, Felix drove them to see the new house they were planning to buy.
Of course, the house is currently being renovated, and the smell was strong. They just looked around the surroundings and the appearance of the buildings. Thea had photos of the interior decoration on her phone, and Lauren and Mr. Shaw were incredibly excited and amazed, never expecting that one day they could live in a big house in Aethelgard.
Lauren had come to terms with it—after all, it was Thea who bought it, and now she was her daughter, so there was no need to dwell on those things.
When Mrs. Sutton came to eat, she was warmly welcomed.
Mrs. Sutton looked obviously more radiant than Lauren, but Lauren didn’t feel awkward about it, nor did Mrs. Sutton feel superior. Because of Thea, the two women quickly hit it off, both for the good of their daughters.
They found a restaurant to dine in, sitting at a particularly secluded spot. Thea couldn’t join in the adults’ conversation, so she played on her phone. Suddenly, she saw a pretty boy in his teens run over, knocking off the phone of a well-dressed woman at the table near the outside.
The boy froze for a moment and quickly apologized, "Sister, I’m sorry, I... I’ll compensate you for your phone."
Yet, to everyone’s surprise, the woman frowned and directly picked up a water glass to pour it on the boy’s face.
The restaurant erupted into an uproar.
The boy was stunned, standing there soaked, and tears welled up in his eyes as he stood there awkwardly.
Mrs. Sutton and others naturally noticed and were surprised, letting out a revealing "huh."
Thea immediately asked, "Mom, do you know her?"
Mrs. Sutton gave her a look, leaned over, and whispered in her ear, "One of the illegitimate daughters of the Ford Family."
Thea: "..."
Just listen to that quantifier, one of them!
