Villain of Fate: The Tyrant System-Chapter 80: Fire Between Queens [Part-2]
Fire Between Queens [Part-2]
Bianca De Dominicis was the first to strike.
A low, amused laugh slipped from her lips as if she had just heard a private joke. The curve of her red lips sharpened slightly while her crimson eyes fixed themselves on Selena Aurevale with open challenge.
"Oh? Isn’t this Miss Aurevale?" Bianca said smoothly, tilting her head with mock curiosity. "The number one ice beauty of Valemont suddenly has such a proactive side? I thought you didn’t like men."
Her voice was soft. Sweet, even.
Her eyes, however, carried none of that sweetness.
Selena didn’t flinch.
Not a twitch. Not a blink.
"What does that have to do with you?" she replied coldly, tightening her hold on Julian’s arm.
The pressure was immediate.
Julian felt it like a vice locking around his sleeve.
[ Damn it, what are you doing? ]
[ Stop it, don’t fight over a handsome guy like me, it pains me. ]
[ Oh no, don’t do this in front of the Obsidian King. ]
[Can you let me survive peacefully?]
Julian stood between them like a hostage caught in a political marriage dispute.
He had heard rumors that the two women didn’t get along.
But rumors were one thing.
This?
This felt like stepping into the middle of a battlefield without armor.
The air between them was sharp enough to cut skin, and somehow he had become the center of the conflict.
The territory both sides were claiming.
Julian forced a small, awkward smile, glancing from one woman to the other as if hoping one of them might suddenly remember basic human civility.
Neither did.
Selena’s grip stayed firm.
Bianca’s gaze grew colder.
Julian swallowed.
[This is bad... really bad.]
Before he could even think of an escape, Bianca moved.
She stepped closer without hesitation and grabbed Julian’s other arm.
Firmly.
The movement was confident, almost possessive.
Her D-cup chest brushed lightly against his sleeve as she pulled him toward her side. The motion looked casual, but the subtle pressure carried a very deliberate message.
Julian froze.
A distant trace of her fragrance - gentle, warm, slightly sugared - slipped through the air, brushing against him as if murmuring caution. It settled into his awareness slow, almost reluctant.
Bianca stared at Selena, her red eyes locked without blinking.
"You’re holding my boyfriend’s hand. How does that have nothing to do with me?" Bianca shot back, her smile turning sharper. "If you really like handsome guys, I can introduce you to a few."
Almost without noticing, she shifted nearer to Julian, fingers pressing a little firmer - clear, quiet, impossible to ignore.
"Just don’t bother my baby."
Julian almost choked.
Selena’s blue eyes sharpened.
"Your boyfriend?" she repeated, her voice icy. "Miss De Dominicis, you sure have thick skin—calling someone else’s fiancé your boyfriend?"
The word fiancé landed like a blade.
Bianca’s smile thinned.
"Oh? He’s your fiancé?" she mocked lightly. "What do you know about him?"
Her grip on Julian tightened.
"Do you know what he likes to eat? What brand of cigarettes he smokes? Does he prefer black stockings or white ones? Or maybe he likes bunny dresses? Nurse outfits?" she tilted her head. "Can you answer any of those?"
Julian’s soul left his body for a second.
Selena froze.
She... couldn’t answer.
The silence stretched.
But then she straightened, chin lifting slightly.
"Is knowing those things important?" she countered. "As long as he likes me, that’s enough. Everyone in Valemont knows he likes me. He even threw me a birthday party a few days ago."
Julian’s brain exploded.
Bianca’s eyes flashed.
A few days ago.
That post.
She remembered it clearly.
She had been at home, scrolling through her phone before bed. Then she saw it—photos of the celebration. Candles. Decorations. "Happy Birthday, Selena. Love, Julian."
Her blood had boiled.
He had told her he wasn’t interested.
So what was that?
Bianca’s jaw tightened.
"Oh?" she said slowly. "A birthday party?"
She stepped closer—dangerously close—until she was almost chest to chest with Selena, Julian trapped between them.
"You want to show off your love?" Bianca whispered with a challenging smile. "Let me show you what real love looks like."
Before Julian could react—
Bianca suddenly pulled him toward her.
Her hand slid up to his collar.
She leaned in as if to kiss him.
Julian’s eyes widened.
"Bianca—!"
At the same time—
Selena’s reaction was just as fast.
She grabbed Julian’s face with both hands and leaned in from the other side.
"What the—?!"
Julian felt himself pulled in two directions like a rope in a tug-of-war.
His face literally sandwiched between two pairs of hands.
He panicked.
"Wait, wait—! Can we not—?!" he tried to speak, but it came out strangled.
Just as chaos reached its peak—
SLAP!
A palm hit the desk.
Charlotte Bonds stood up, face dark with fury.
"Enough!" she snapped. "Stop arguing here. I still have work to do. Get out."
The room fell silent.
She looked beyond irritated.
Charlotte had been high school besties with both Selena and Bianca.
Seeing her two friends nearly starting a kissing war over Julian inside a police station?
Humiliating.
"Your circle is really messy," she muttered under her breath.
Julian didn’t waste the opportunity.
He quickly grabbed both women’s wrists and dragged them toward the exit.
Behind them—
Evan stood frozen.
The two women he liked.
Fighting over another man.
Right in front of him.
His stomach churned like he had swallowed something rotten.
Outside the West City Police Station, the scene only became more outrageous.
Selena still held Julian’s left arm.
Bianca clung to his right.
Police officers on night duty watched in disbelief.
"Damn it... two beauties serving one guy?"
"Who the hell is that? Can we arrest him?"
"Shh! That’s Young Master D’Aurelius—the number one simp in Valemont!"
"Simp? Damn it. I’m starting to simp tomorrow."
Julian almost turned around to punch someone.
Damn it! You guys are the simps!
I hate simps the most!
He exhaled sharply and looked at the two women helplessly.
"Are you planning to tear me in half and take me home separately?" he asked dryly.
"Then let her let go first," Bianca huffed.
"Why should I?" Selena shot back instantly.
They tightened their grips simultaneously.
Julian closed his eyes briefly.
[Can you stop being so childish? Is this even your character?]
[Let go of me. Are you fighting over a toy?]
[Even if I were a toy, there’s only one of me—not enough for both of you.]
He winced slightly.
Because—
Their arms were pressed tightly against him.
Soft warmth on both sides.
His hands were caught awkwardly between their chests and sleeves.
A ridiculous situation.
His face showed visible pain.
Mixed—
With a very subtle, very dangerous hint of pleasure.
He swallowed.
This was not survival.
This was walking a tightrope above hell. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
And somehow—
He was smiling.
