Vampire's Veil Of Obsession-Chapter 201: Hearts That Kick in Threes
Chapter 201: Hearts That Kick in Threes
Months had passed since the burial of Zack—one of the best CEOs in the country. His death was all over the news. Many condolences were sent to Zethan, and even though he didn’t show it, Zack was still his blood. He had truly wanted to make things right... but who knew fate had other plans? Who knew what would have happened if he had visited?
It was discovered that the car’s spike had pierced through his spine—one of the known ways to kill a vampire royal—its tip lodged deeply inside.

Zethan and Lilia were in the car, on their way to the hospital for their baby’s gender reveal.
Lilia, who had been on her phone, gently dropped it and caressed her bump.
"You know, Zethan, you have to be strict with me. I’ve been craving so much, and you’ve given in to all of them. Look at me now—my hands are getting so soft, and I’m gaining a lot of weight," she pouted.
"But how can I resist your beautiful eyes, sweetheart?" he replied.
Lilia rested her head softly on Zethan’s shoulder her cheeks warming softly. These past months had been some of the best she had ever experienced. Even though she occasionally caught a flash of pain in Zethan’s eyes, she knew he hadn’t expected his cousin’s death. But seeing that pain also showed her that her once cold-hearted husband was slowly warming up.
She could never forget the way he constantly surprised her. This—this right here—was the best. She was happy. Her husband was happy. And she was pregnant.
What more could she ask for?
"We’ll be attending Lucas’s wedding next week," Lilia said casually.
Zethan nodded, a small smile curling on his lips. His hand moved gently to her stomach, caressing it softly.
Lilia’s heart warmed—and just then, the baby kicked.
Her eyes widened. She was already six months pregnant. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
"One of them kicked, Z... Zethan," she whispered, her voice cracking slightly, full of emotion.
"I think they feel you. They can feel their dad, my love. This... is perfect," Zethan said, his lips curling upwards again.
As Lilia’s lips parted in surprise, Zethan gently caressed her tummy once more—and then another kick came, followed by another. Her eyes widened further as she stared at him.
"Z... Zethan... th-the triplets kicked... did you feel it?"
Zethan froze.
Tears rolled down her cheeks—tears of joy. She was so happy, she could hardly believe this was real. She leaned toward him.
"Z-Zethan, I love you so... so... so much. I don’t even know what to s-say. You’re the best husband ever," her voice broke, her shoulders trembling slightly.
Zethan moved his hands to her face and gently wiped her tears. Her eyes rested on him—pure, bright—as she bit her lip.
"I love you so much too. And I know you’ll be a wonderful mother to our children," he said, his voice soft, his smile tender.
"Oh, love... and you’ll be a perfect father too," she whispered, brushing her tears away.
Zethan pulled out a handkerchief and gently wiped her eyes, slow and careful.
"You’ll make our little ones mad at me for making you cry," he said quietly, "so please don’t."
Lilia nodded, laughing softly at his words.
She was wearing a cute, baggy blue top and a maxi skirt. Her hair was pulled back, but soft curls framed each side of her face. She looked so adorable—and the baby bump made her even more radiant.
Zethan, in a matching shirt and perfectly tailored pants, sat beside her. They looked like the perfect couple.
One Hour Later
Lilia lay on the hospital bed, holding Zethan’s hand tightly in hers. The doctor stood beside them, placing something on her now-exposed stomach. Her heart thudded softly as she watched the woman rub a cool gel on her bump, then gently guide the probe across it.
The screen lit up, showing the movement of the babies. Lilia’s eyes turned glassy again.
Zethan gave her hand a small squeeze, and she turned to him. His eyes were locked on hers.
"My love... can you see this?" she asked, even though she knew he could. It was obvious. That was what made it breathtaking.
He nodded, his lips curling into a smile. Her expression was beautiful, and he couldn’t help but admire her.
The woman moved, typed a few things, then pulled out a paper and said:
"Mr. Zethan, Mrs. Lilia—you’re having two girls and a boy."
Lilia’s eyes widened. She laughed softly—they had both guessed wrong. She had said all girls, while Zethan had said two boys and one girl.
She turned to him with a wide smile.
"Seems I was wrong. And you were too," she teased, laughing.
Zethan chuckled as well, and the doctor quietly excused herself to leave them alone for a few minutes.
As soon as she left, Zethan’s lips curled again as he watched Lilia speak excitedly.
"My husband, this is the greatest news. Once we get home, we’ll celebrate. And who knows? Maybe our little ones will get friends soon too—Lucas and Evie and big ones Little Tom," she giggled softly.
Zethan leaned in and kissed her softly on the forehead. Her smile widened. He held her hands and lowered himself, placing a gentle kiss on them.
"I will love you forever and forever, my wife. Not even death can do us part—because I’ll hunt you down all over again," he whispered seductively.
Lilia laughed softly, eyes gleaming.
"I can’t wait for your hunt, my husband. I’m already ready—and I always will be."
He leaned in and kissed her, soft and full of promise.
"This is only the beginning of our happiness and love, my wife."
