Vampire God in the Apocalypse-Chapter 328 - 325. The archives (1)
Dexter stood in a small, organized medical room. The white walls and modern technology around made it seem like this place was unaffected by the chaos in the outside world.
There were other individuals in the room as well, standing around the bed.
The leading figures in the camp mostly.
On the bed was a woman who had sparkling blue hair. Her once charred skin was now smooth and white once more.
Dexter looked behind him to see Kila standing with her head down. He was holding her hand, stopping her from doing anything rash.
She still held a deep hatred for her former coven leader, it seemed.
Seeing the condition that Rose was in, he couldn't help but rule among the people he knew that could have done it.
Seeing how quiet the room was, the dragon king shook his head. He knew that everyone was thinking it was Lucifer that did it.
"I know her. I myself would have a hard time dealing with her abilities. But I would win, no doubt."
His voice shattered everyone's realm of thought, making them all look at him.
"The other people I know that can do this are the leader of Phoenixfire Syndicate, and Rykan of the Kaminari clan."
Kami glared at Gazan with a frown.
"How did my husband get dragged into this?" she hissed.
"I'm not saying that he is the one, but he can do something like this," he corrected himself, calming the fox down.
"Another person that I know who is capable of doing something like this is..."
"Lucifer," Dexter completed his words, making the entire room even more tense.
Nevertheless, they couldn't help but wait a little longer for Rose to wake up. Currently, she was the only one that could tell them what really happened.
Outside of the medical wards, the vampires and werewolves were gathered.
They too, of course, had heard the news of a vampire count getting injured to near death.
They only had to wait for the leaders to come out and give the news.
On one side, Trisha walked towards Tarzon, wearing her signature black animal skin strapped around her waist.
Tarzon himself was wearing something similar, his body ripped with muscles and scars.
He was nonchalant about the entire thing, and so was his pack.
He glanced to the side to see Trisha walking towards him, and he shook his head.
"I know you're not here to discuss how we can 'help' this stronghold."
Trisha could only smile at his words, baring her fangs.
"I became an alpha way longer after you did. Hearing of an enemy that my ancestors described as cataclysm, I can't help but want to go into hiding," Trisha finally spoke up, revealing her concerns.
Tarzon sat on the ground, crossing his legs.
"Our alpha asked us for our help too. Are you going to leave like that? If she dies, we all lose our powers." Tarzon glanced at her one more time.
Trisha gritted her teeth.
Tarzon wasn't wrong. All werewolves were linked to the one they regard as goddess, the goddess being the alpha of alphas. If something was to happen to the alpha, or if she died, all the alphas in the world would lose their superior abilities until she was born again.
And as for their greatest abilities, the marks that appear on their heads when they become alphas—
That was their greatest source of strength, and one reason why all wolves were loyal to the goddess.
"I have already thought about it. We can just kidnap her. And then we would be able to start afresh in a new, beautiful forest."
Trisha spread her arms, talking like a preacher. And then, she stretched her hand to him, for him to take it.
"We this, we that. There is no we. You do what you want to do, I'll do what I want to do. I hate traitors." Tarzon stood up, leaping towards the tall building in the distance.
Trisha was on the ground, looking at him with an annoyed expression. His words still rang in her ears.
'If she dies, we'll all lose our powers.' She gritted her teeth.
Trisha turned around, seeing Tracy sitting on the pavement in front of the hospital, as if in deep thought.
Trisha wasn't the type to risk her entire pack for a hopeless cause. She knew that it would be close to impossible to defeat the person they were going to face.
It wasn't worth the risk.
...
After more than seven hours of waiting, Rose was finally showing signs of coming back to her senses.
She opened her eyes, seeing a group of people surrounding her.
Dexter was right close to the door, holding a woman that she recognized well.
"I survived!" Rose squealed, looking at her arms.
She hugged herself, making everyone stare at her in amusement.
Dexter turned, looking at Kila in the eyes.
"Calm down."
Kila instantly felt the anger radiating in her cooling off. She looked at him with a sad face and he put a hand on her shoulder.
He knew how she was feeling.
Rose was the one who took her family from her, turned her into a vampire, and made her satisfy nearly a full coven with sexual urges.
He would allow her to kill the woman, but not now. They needed to know what they were dealing with.
Rose looked beside her to see a man with long white hair, staring down at her with two draconic eyes.
"Gazan? What are you doing here?" Rose asked, looking at the vampire king with a frown.
"Rose Snow. The last time we met, you tried to turn me into a vampire," Gazan said, glaring at her. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Instantly, a pressure fell on the room.
Dexter looked at Gazan, wondering what he was doing.
'Shit. I'm trying to stop one and another one wants to kill her too!' He walked forward despite the pressure.
Before he could reach the dragon king, the pressure was lifted with a smile from him.
"Fear not. I have forgiven you for wanting to taint the blood of dragons." He cleared his throat.
"No, how did you end up like this?" For more chapters visit novel✶fire.net
