Jaehyun’s POV
I spin my handy little gun on my finger as I stare down the bastard getting on my nerves.
’Don’t kill anyone’ my Lord clearly said but it’s hard to follow through when this fucking prick keeps saying shit.
’He said don’t kill...not don’t break’ my alpha urges and with a shrug I step on the man’s fingers, listening to his scream with a smirk on my face.
His scream sounds like the screech of a bird but it’s really not the sound I’m looking forward to hearing.
I press down a bit harder and then I hear the satisfying crack of bones, good, he’d never touch anyone inappropriately ever again.
"Please! Please! It hurts!" he screams and I act surprise, taking my foot off his fingers, the poor thing is mangled with bone peeking through bleeding flesh.
"It hurts?" I ask and he nods, begging with his eyes but cursing at me with his filthy mouth, maybe I should fill it with sand, make him swallow it and then throw him in the local river.
"Do you think it hurt when you broke into their kid’s home and killed their father in front of their eyes?" I growl at him, showing my alpha eyes at him and he whimpers in surrender.
"I- I just- we were- ARGHH!" he screams as I press down on his fingers again, no child will see their parents die by these hands again, no child will be orphaned by these fingers again.
"Sir?" one of my clan members comes in with a phone in his hand, he bows and waits for me to go ahead, "I’m busy" I snap at him and roll up my sleeves.
"It’s very important" he says and I sigh, giving my victim a smile before nodding at the guard, "yes?" I ask, wearing a mocking smile.
"Lord Yujun’s guard called, he said to tell you an important message" he says and I frown, "go on" I say.
"The Lord said he will kill you" he says and I immediately reach for my husband through our bond, I feel that his omega is in pains and I get up immediately from the chair I’m in.
"Shit" I say.
"Shit. Shit. Fuck!" I curse in succession, our pup is coming already and I’m two hours drive away from him.
"Tie this fucker up, I have more important things" I say and rush out of the building into my car, my body smells of the distressed bastards I took care of.
I pull off the jacket and drive as fast as I can to Hwangyeon, my alpha keeps howling as I speed down the road, and my omega’s pain pushes every action I take.
In one hour, I arrive at Hwangyeon after dodging an accident twice, I don’t wait for the car to fully stop before I jump out of it.
I’m not going to miss this.
We’re going to have everything that was stolen from us, and we’re not going to hurt about it anymore, "where is he?" I ask as soon as I spot Yunah.
The young omega is holding my pup and looks worried, "Oppa" she greets and Haeri reaches out for me
"Dada!" Haeri cries and I give her a kiss on her forehead, "where’s Yujun?" I ask and Yunah points to the pack hospital.
And as I run towards it, shedding off my clothes, I hear Yujun’s shout and my mom’s encourages.
"Can I get in?" I ask, standing at the door that is being guarded by some of the pack nurses, "you need to control your scent sir, the Lord is already distressed and doesn’t need any more stress" the older one responds sternly and I nod.
Pacing in front of them as I control my breathing.
Calm.
I have to be calm, my omega needs a scent that will help him, I have to be good for him right now.
I run my fingers through my hair and when my scent stabilizes, I put my hands up for her to check me, to confirm that I’m okay enough to go on.
"Is this good?" I ask and she nods, opening the door.
Immediately I’m hit with the scent of my mom’s comforting pheromones, he is in his nursing scrubs as he attends to my mate, the other nurses too move around professionally as they encourage Yujun.
"I’m going to kill him!" Yujun says through his teeth as I approach him, "hey...my love" I whisper and go on my knees near the bed.
"You!" he groans.
"Kill him later, you need to push now" mom scolds him and Yujun’s lips form a pout and his eyes water, "it’s so hard" he sobs and groans.
"You’re so perfect, fuck...baby, look at you, giving us a pup" I praise him as I stay by his side, brushing his hair back and he nods, "you’re a good alpha" he says and my alpha wags his tail at the compliment.
"You’re an even better omega" I say.
There are sweat beads on his head and his hair is plastered to his face by the wetness, he looks exhausted but so fucking beautiful.
How much did I miss?
"I love you so much" he whispers, eyes drooping in a way that scares me, "I love you more, Haeri is waiting for her mama and her new sibling" I say and he nods.
"Haeri-" he says our daughter’s name and pushes once more, this push is followed by a painfully loud cry and he goes lax on the bed.
"The pup is here!" Mom announces and I whimper, nosing at my omega, his skin is clammy and his breathing shallow but he presses his face into mine, "I’m okay" he says weakly.
"Check the pup! Why is the baby not crying?" a nurse yells and Yujun pushes himself up to see, "what’s wrong?" he asks, shaking from exhaustion and fear all at once.
"Mom?" I ask and my mother takes the baby from the nurse.
"Soothe your omega" he snaps at me and moves away with some of the nurses.
"Jaehyun..." Yujun calls and grabs my hand in panic, "what’s happening to our baby?" he asks.
I don’t know what to say, I’m as terrified as he is, maybe even more.
"Come on!" I hear my mom say sharply and there’s a loud smacking noise, within a second of the smack, a loud baby cry fills the space and I let go of the breath I didn’t know was holding while Yujun falls back into the bed sobbing.
"He’s okay, your son is okay" mom says.
"Junnah, you did it, you gave us a healthy son" I say to my mate and he purrs in return, brown eyes turning blue with omega beauty.
