Use Me Like A Drug (omegaverse bl)-Chapter 218: The phone, the past, Cho Yujin

Yujun’s POV

After waving my sister and Gawon goodbye, I glare at the guards that still were standing around, they look like what I have always called them...untrained dogs.

My pup kicks as I return to my room upstairs and I find Chan waiting for me with his hands behind his back.

"Get out" I say tiredly, not ready to entertain his delusional and messed up mindset after having a precious moment with my sister.

"Did you enjoy their visit?" the man asks and places a bowl of fruit on the side table, just what I have been craving for a while, and I squint at the fruits.

"Twenty minutes?" I ask, "you keep me away for two months and give me only twenty minutes to spend time with my family" I say with irritation and he winces, "I’m trying to protect you" he says and comes closer to me.

"I need to be protected from you" I tell him, "No...I do everything for you, for your pup, I just want to make sure you don’t suffer anything" he says.

The alpha caresses my face gently and I jerk away from him.

"Why won’t you let me touch you?" he asks, hand hanging in the air and shaking, his eyes are red around the edges and sweat beading on his forehead, "I...I will see you tomorrow morning" he says and takes a step back to leave but doesn’t.

He walks to my window and looks out of it before running his finger through his sweat-wet hair and sighing, I hear him mutter under his breath but can’t make any sense of whatever he said.

I frown in confusion at his behavior, he looks less put together than I have ever seen him, he gives the room a once over, brown eyes are bouncing all over the room like he’s anxious about something.

When the door closes after he finally leaves, I lay on my bed and hear a small crack coming from under my pillow, I lift the pillow and find a broken phone under it.

"A phone...?" I whisper to myself, is this what Chan was doing here? is he trying to monitor me with a phone?

I turn the phone in my hand carefully, knowing Chan, he is not a careless man, he will never do something as stupid as keeping a phone under my own pillow.

I switch it on and when I see that it doesn’t have a password, I swipe the phone open and I am greeted by a wallpaper of Chan kissing a woman on the cheek, it’s Cho Yujin.

Gawon must have brought this for me, sneaking it in the way she snuck in the note that saved me, I go to lock the door and search the phone in the safety of the locked room.

The gallery is opened first and there are a small number of videos and pictures that has been keep in a folder labelled; for you.

I click on the first video, Cho Yujin sets up the camera and smiles at it, she looks like she was practicing her poses for a photoshoot and Chan walks in, the couple exchange a sweet kiss, laughing and talking before Chan flashes his golden eyes at the camera.

’You’re recording?’ he asked, voice low with warmth but eyes gold, hidden away from the woman he was hugging.

’Yes, I have a shoot later today’ Yujin said and turned to look at the camera in time for Chan to return his eyes back to brown.

’Don’t post that, I don’t want to be seen’ he said and comes to put off the camera.

I stare at the blank screen in confusion, not sure why this is important, I slide to the next video and it’s a dark video call with Gawon, Yujin sounds like she’s crying as she walks down the road.

’Won-ah, I am coming home right now’ she said.

’Eh? But you just left, did something happen?’ Gawon asked, the young girl was nonchalant and working on her laptop, ’Won-ah! Pay attention to me’ Yujin screamed and Gawon stared at the camera.

’I have a video from weeks ago, I just watched it and-and I didn’t want to panic but Chan isn’t who I thought he was, he is dangerous, he killed people!’ Gawon sobbed.

’Unnie, really, I can’t be used for practicing your acting right now, I’m busy’ Gawon whined and clicked her laptop. ’I just left his place, and he was really scary, Gawon, dad isn’t picking my call’ Yujin said, sounding almost desperate.

’Where are you?’ the younger omega asked with a sigh, ’I’m standing by the department store we always use’

’Unnie...who is that behind?’ Gawon asked and the phone is snatched from Yujin’s hand, ’Jinnie, listen to me’ Chan’s voice said and Yujin screamed a loud no, ’I just need to talk to you’ Chan said and the call ended.

The video sends signals and warnings to my brain, I put two and two together as I realize, it has to be the night she first confronted Chan about his identity. From the conversation, it seems like she has known for a while but didn’t say a word until she did her research.

Yujin didn’t run from Chan because he was a born alpha...she ran because she found out what he was capable of.

I swipe to the next media and it is a screenshot of a conversation between Yujin and Chan;

Chan;

My love, come home.

Yujin. Why won’t you read my texts?

Yujin. Fucking come back home, I’m not a monster.

I swear I’m not.

I told you to give me space. Please leave me alone.

I told you, didn’t I? I told you to calm down, stress will kill our pup. You killed my child.

The screenshot shows me that the conversation ended with Yujin not responding and that a call from Chan was made for three minutes, I again swipe and the next media is another screen recorded call between Yujin and Chan.

Most likely the one from the last conversation.

’Why won’t you leave me alone, I’m tired" Yujin screamed as she accepted the call, her eyes looked red and her bare face was puffy from days of crying, she looked like she was still in the hospital and on medication.

’Yah! You bastard, leave my sister alone! Haven’t you done enough?’ Gawon said as she took the phone from her older sister, ’she already lost the baby you asshole, she is going through enough!’ Gawon yells.

Chan didn’t say a word in response, he just kept looking at the younger sister of his mate.

’Say something! Tell her you’re sorry you fucker!’ Gawon yelled through the phone and Yujin’s cry in the background gets louder.

’I just wanted to see where you are’ he said and ended the call.

The calmness of his tone as he says those words scares even me, my eyes are getting wet from watching the sisters protect each other from the crazed alpha.

Another video starts and it’s Yujin, she looked out of place and disorganized, her hair was tangled and unbrushed.

’He won’t leave me alone, he has been standing in front of my house for the past hour...I’m scared’

’I called everyone, dad, mom and my friends...no one is picking up’ she sniffled and showed the time on her smart watch, ’I called 911 but...no one is coming yet, it’s 11:23pm’ she said and wipes the snot from her nose with the back of her hand.

’Everyone, Kang Chan is a mad man, he is crazy, he...he killed his parents and he’s a born alpha’ the door of her apartment opened, and she threw the phone under the bed.

’Who were you talking to?’ Chan asked in a gentle voice, like he didn’t just break in.

’Leave me alone!’ Yujin’s shrill scream makes me jerk and I hear her footstep running away from him, deliberately taking him away from the phone, ’let’s not play games, I just want to love you, I forgive you for killing our pup’

’You’re a monster, I wish I never had your mark’ Yujin screamed.

’Fine then, stream yourself since you want to show the world so bad, and that mating bite that you now hate so much, stab it, get it out of your body’ he says and leaves.

From the sounds I hear, it seems like the model walked to her kitchen and picked up a knife before picking the phone from under the couch and ending the video, the last view of her in this video shows the emptiness in her eyes.

He used the alpha voice on her.

I shut my eyes as I remember the news article I read while researching about her;

Cho Yujin was found dead in her apartment...she has stab wounds on her mating bite.

To the world, she committed suicide but now I know...he killed her.

I switch on the mobile data and use the phone to log in my X account that has been dormant for years, typing quickly, I share the videos and type as quickly as I can to warn everyone.

I play the last video again, and suddenly my door opens, my head snaps up as I find Chan in front of it.

"Gawon and her meddling...I expected no less" he says calmly but I see the death in his eyes as he steps into my room...I might end up like Cho Yujin and the videos are not done uploading...
