Yujun’s POV

I wake up to the feeling of Jaehyun’s body pressing against mine, the sweat between our bodies is uncomfortable but I still don’t move, it feels like every moment that passes shows me just how important he is to me.

The puppy-like alpha is still sleeping, his chest rises and falls with the steady breathing, and his scent is calm.

I trace his features with my eyes as he sleeps, I love the way his lips are slightly parted, his cheeks that are pink and smooth, his pretty nose...Haeri would be so beautiful.

He mumbles something in his sleep and pouts, the small action makes me giggle, even in his sleep, he remains adorable and lovable.

’Chan won’t take this away from me’ I think to myself and Jaehyun’s eyes open slowly, the sight of his beautiful brown orbs makes my omega purr.

"This is how I want to wake up for the rest of my life" Jaehyun says and I move closer to him, my heart aches for a reason I can’t tell as I lift my hand and run my fingers through his hair.

"You have such thick hair" I say and he shuts his eyes, leaning more into my touch, I groan as I feel pain shooting through my arm.

"Are you hurt?" Jaehyun asks softly and I shake my head slowly, "holding that baby girl yesterday is making my arms hurt" I say with a small laugh.

I haven’t lifted any weights in a long time and just holding the chubby little girl feels like returning to the gym after a long time, Jaehyun hand rubs my arm gently and I keep a smile on my face.

"You looked so beautiful holding her yesterday" the alpha says, still rubbing my arm and pressing down gently, like a massage.

I yawn loudly and stretch my arms above my head as my back arches.

"Hungry?" Jaehyun asks and I nod, "ramyeon and clam?" he asks again and I pucker my lips, clam sounds like a good idea...but where will we find them?

"My logical, logical little bunny" he says and rubs our noses together.

"I can see your brain working to produce clams" he says with a small laugh, "I didn’t know you had magical clams hidden somewhere" I snap at him and roll out of bed to get away from him.

"We can get them outside, I was just teasing..." he says, and I ignore him, going to the fridge to get the rest of the ice cream, I open it and dig into it while the alpha keeps laughing.

"What?" I ask grudgingly.

"I’ll go get the clams from the fishermen" he says and I wave my hand at him, the man gives me one last look before heading out.

With him gone, I go around the house, cleaning up and touching the things in the little home as a goodbye...maybe, a see you later.

I stand in front of the picture I saw the first day we arrived here, Yeon in the beautiful clothes, his big smile and his hair flying with the wind.

The door opens and Jaehyun returns with the clam, "they are fresh too!" he announces and I go into the kitchen to cook.

Like our unspoken rules, the alpha plasters himself to my back, holding on to me like a simple break will lead to my disappearance.

He doesn’t speak, only coos in my ear and nose at my scent gland, the space feels like a special heaven just for us two.

I serve up our meal, and the alpha sits to dive in, we make small talk as we eat about how delicious the meal is and how Jaehyun is going to choke himself with too much ramyeon.

Once we finish eating, Jaehyun does the dishes while I wait for him with a scissor and a comb.

"What if I end up ugly?" Jaehyun asks from the kitchen, "then we shave it all off" I say cheerfully, "yah! My beautiful long locks" he says with a high-pitched voice that makes me laugh at him.

He’s so silly and I love him very much.

He finally sits between my legs on the floor, and I cut his hair for him, carefully using the scissors and using the years of experience I have; years of cutting my hair by myself.

"I’m going to be the most handsome father in the world" he says and I sigh, "yes, Hwang Jaehyun, yes you will be the most handsome" I say tiredly and he grins but doesn’t say anything else.

"We are going back to Hwangyeon today" he says and I hum, already knowing what to expect, there was political tension when we left, Yeon-mom broke us out of prison, the blood of an elder is still on Jaehyun’s hands.

"Don’t worry about anything right now" Jaehyun says, keeping his back straight, "I can’t help it, I’d hate not sleeping next to you" I confess and place the scissors on my lap.

Jaehyun looks at me, his haircut is only half done, he smiles softly at me and flashes his alpha eyes at me, like he’s promising me something I don’t understand.

"Let’s go seashell hunting this evening" Jaehyun says and I nod, turning his head so I can continue and complete the cut.

"One last time, let’s bury our feet in the sand and play" he adds, always ready to play, always looking forward to the bright side of life no matter what.

"We’ll come back here soon, right?" I ask.

"Of course, I promise, maybe when Haeri is big enough" Jaehyun says and I nod, focusing on his haircut, suddenly the smell of ocean hits my nose, and I snap my head up immediately.

"Jaehyun..." I say and he moves away from between my legs quietly.

"Jaehyun...Chan is here" I say and he growls as he rushes to open the door...truly, the alpha is there.

Hand behind his back, pitiful look on his face and hand over his chest.

"Play time is over, come home to me" he says.
