Melissa had to believe that the man in front of her was not Murray.

She was still having different thoughts in her mind.She still felt that Murray was doing all these on purpose like he was intentionally pretending not to know her.

She didn’t want to leave yet but there was no reason for her to keep stalling here.She still felt that the guy was pretending.

The man said to Melissa.

"I’m really not your friend.I’m so sorry.If I’m truly the person you say I am,I definitely won’t want you to be sad,why would I lie?"

"Maybe your friend is also waiting for you somewhere You will meet one day.I can only wish you the both of you happiness."

Melissa was about to say something when her phone rang.She was stunned when she saw the name of the caller on the screen.

Melissa hadn’t contacted her for a long time,so she had to say sorry to the man and walked aside to answer the phone.

"Hello,what can I do for you?"Melissa said in a cold voice.

The assistant secretary of Murray on the other end of the line said to Melissa.

"I’m sorry.I don’t want to disturb you either.But now there is something wrong with an account in the company.As a shareholder,you have the right to know it."

"The reason why I informed you is that I want to tell you that in person.If you are free at the moment,please come to the company so I can explain what is happening,because there’s an account here that has something to do with you."

Melissa was confused.She didn’t know the account she was talking about,not to mention it had something to do with her.

Her mind went to Murray’s uncle,thinking that maybe he had done something tlike this to her on purpose.

She didn’t want to get involved in this kind of thing.She had enough on her plate already.She thought for a while and said to the phone directly.

"I’ll be right there.You list the related accounts with problems.When I arrive there,we’ll check them as soon as possible."

After hanging up the phone,Melissa walked up to the man and said in a hurry.

"I have something urgent to deal with and I’m leaving soon.No matter if you’re Murray or not,you look exactly like him."

"If there is a chance,I will call you in my spare time and apologize to you better.I also want to have a good chat with you."

The man still nodded like a gentleman.Seeing this,Melissa ran to the roadside without hesitation and entered her car.

To her,it was a big deal that there was something wrong with the accounts of the company.She drove to Murray’s company with high speed.

When Melissa arrived at the company,she found that the security guards didn’t stop her this time.She knew that they might have received an order in advance to let her in.

When she entered the company,she felt extremely strange.

Although it was still the same place.The desk was still in same usual place,the wall was also the same as before.

But she found that there were many people sitting at the conference table that she didn’t know.

Especially those who had a good relationship with her and Murray,none of them was found.They were not in attendance.

Melissa slowed down and made a phone call to Murray’s assistant to meet her outside the conference room.

In just two minutes,the assistant came outside and handed the files Melissa had earlier requested to her.

"Boss,we have confirmed that all the employees you have worked hard to train have been dismissed by Murray’s aunt."

"That’s what happened yesterday.They are all at home now.Some of the people who are close to you,are too embarrassed to call you again."

The assistant threaded carefully with Melissa.People were really counting on Melissa to help them even though,they felt embarrassed.The assistant knew Melissa was the only one that could help these people.The

Melissa thought for a while before coming up with a solution.She called the assistant and explained what she should do.

"Inform all those who have been dismissed to come to work in our company without any change to their salary."

"Check how many people there are.Report these people to the Personnel Department and see which positions can be spared for the time being."

"The remaining things will be settled when I get back to my company.How about you do that right now?"

After checking the accounts with the Murray’s assistant,Melissa decided to leave.

However,Murray’s aunt appeared in front of Melissa with a sadistic look which made Melissa irritated.She was so furious that she started talking.

"You know it’s so unwise of you to dismiss most of the best employees this company has.These people have been well trained and are like assets to this company."

Any company will be lucky to have these people,but I guess you don’t are about them at all.This shows how your attitude towards the employees here.Is this how you treat everyone here?

Anger was written all over Melissa’s face.At this point she was staring at Murray’s aunt with so much anger and she didn’t care about what people around would say.

Murray’s aunt looked at Melissa scornfully

"The company is under my management now,and you are only a shareholder.Besides,this company has nothing to do with you."

After the aunt of Murray said this,Melissa was irritated by her words,and it made Melissa burst with anger.

But she knew she really couldn’t fight against the Murray’s aunt.

Because she had a point.Melissa had no right to interfere with the company’s business.

"Don’t think that because you’ve hired these people to work for you,you are any better.It’s a different thing my dear.

"I fired them because I suspected them.Or don’t I have the right to do what I think is best for this company?

Though what she said wasn’t entirely true,she was still a cunning woman.She would do anything to get Melissa riled up.

And she was successful at that because Melissa was very furious.

Murray’s aunt was a very dubious person.When she saw how furious and crazy Melissa was,she got scared.

She secretly gestured to the employees around her to call the police just in case..

"Let me tell you something,no matter what you do,this is still my company.Whether you leave or not,don’t blame me for any drastic step I take.I won’t let you ruin this company.

If Murray’s aunt didn’t say that,Melissa might have left after she calmed down.But now she didn’t want to leave.

"I’m not leaving here.What will you do?I can’t let you destroy Murray’s company.You really don’t know how things work."

"This company is Murray and I handwork.And with the rate at which you are sending the employees away,this company may be left with nothing once you are done.You might be in charge now,but I don’t trust you.
