Mrs.Gibson was consoled by the fact that,if Murray dies,then Claire would die along with him.

Melissa waited for a while before leaving the river.She hadn’t eaten a thing for the past two days.

"You’ve lost a lot of weight in the last two days,you should eat something."Shayna’s persuasions fell on a deaf ear,as Melissa shook her head and said,

"My children and Murray hasn’t eaten a thing for the past days as well.Don’t you think they’re hungry?"

"I’ll wait for them to arrive,so we can all eat together"She added wiping the tears from her eyes.

Shayna didn’t relent in trying to persuade her.She hoped the results would be positive.

"How can I eat?I’m thinking about my children!Where are they now?Where is Murray?Did they meet?"Melissa muttered these words repeatedly.

"No matter what the outcome would be,you should be able to wait for them.But look at you."Shayna changed her strategy.

Her words seemed to have uplifted Melissa.Shayna couldn’t lie to herself,but she was trying her best to convince Melissa.

The most important things was to use a clear mind and see how to rescue the trio.

Melissa stood by the river and looked at the rescuers.They were busy around the area where the quilt had been pulled out.

"Let’s divide this search into nine small groups and each ship should be responsible for one square.This can improve the efficiency."The head officer suggested.

Melissa stood on the shore and watched.She knew that their hopes were low.But she still believed that they would be found soon.

"These are trained personnels.We have to trust them.They will use the skills to finds them."Shayna said in a bid to comfort her.

Tears streamed down Mr Marc cheeks when he saw the quilt.He couldn’t stand it.He felt his chest enlarged in anger.He knew who caused all this.And if it wasn’t for this lady,things wouldn’t have gotten so bad.

"Look at what you’ve done.Look at our family now."Mr Marc cried and was out of breath.

Mrs Gibson helped him into the car,and took him to the hospital.

A few days had passed,and there was still no trace.Now Shayna felt the need to make Melissa face the reality.

Even an adult couldn’t survive in the river for days.So now the result was doomed.Although Shayna didn’t want to speak out,she had to let Melissa face it.

"I’m sorry.But the best time to rescue them has already elapsed."As she spoke,she looked into Melissa’s eyes,threw her hand across her shoulder and hoped that she could comfort her.

"It’s possible that they are still alive.It’s just that,they haven’t found them yet."Melissa countered.

"Murray must have found the children.He’s still with them,we just need to wait here."Melissa added,not wanting to believe what Shayna suggested.

"You have to move on Melissa.You have to face the reality."Shayna said but Melissa shook her head firmly.
