Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 79 Bingbing Makes a Request
"What are you looking at? Never seen a girl before?" Yang Ruoxi snapped, a mix of shyness and irritation in her voice as she noticed Lin Kuang scrutinizing her.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang cracked a slight smile. "You’re right. Ruoxi looks especially beautiful today."
A faint blush crept onto Yang Ruoxi’s cheeks, but she still shot him a fierce glare.
"Upstairs," Yang Ruoxi said irritably, getting up from the sofa and heading for the stairs.
Lin Kuang followed behind her with a grin, his eyes shining with admiration as he watched her graceful back. Is she wearing... white cartoon underwear?
He quickly composed himself, feeling a little embarrassed as he followed her upstairs.
Back in Yang Ruoxi’s room, they sat one behind the other. Lin Kuang placed his hands on her back, and his extremely firm and yang True Qi surged into her body. In response, she manipulated her Tai Chi power, harmonizing the influx of energy with the Extreme Yin Cold Qi native to her system.
Half an hour later, Lin Kuang stopped. Getting off the bed, he said with a smile, "Your recovery is coming along nicely."
"Of course! Don’t you know who I am?" Yang Ruoxi huffed, clearly in a good mood.
Staring at her charming expression, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but be a little stunned. This girl is just so damned likable.
When she caught Lin Kuang staring at her again, her face flushed red once more. "Hey! What are you looking at?!" she snapped, biting her lip in embarrassment.
Her words finally snapped him out of it.
"Ahem, I was just admiring how beautiful you are," Lin Kuang said awkwardly.
At his words, Yang Ruoxi’s face grew even redder, and a strange tension began to fill the air. The atmosphere drifted through the room, seeming to raise the temperature. A restless feeling stirred in Lin Kuang’s heart, which began to race uncontrollably.
Yang Ruoxi seemed to sense it too. Her petite body trembled slightly, feeling hot all over. The intense, unfamiliar sensation left her at a loss for what to do. Just then, Lin Kuang’s rich, masculine scent washed over her, a wave of heat enveloping her completely. Her body instinctively stiffened. With a soft murmur, her enticing lips parted, and she went limp, falling into his arms.
Lin Kuang lowered his head and pressed his lips directly onto hers.
In truth, Lin Kuang didn’t know why he had done it; the action felt purely instinctual. Yang Ruoxi, for her part, seemed to forget how to resist, simply letting him kiss her.
What neither of them knew was that the Extreme Yang Body and the Extreme Yin Physique—one the pinnacle of firmness and yang, the other the pinnacle of softness and yin—were naturally drawn to one another. As they grew closer, these two energies had begun to mysteriously pull them together, leading to the scene now unfolding.
Just as his tongue was about to part her lips, Yang Ruoxi finally snapped back to her senses. Her pearly white teeth clamped down hard on his tongue.
The bite made Lin Kuang’s entire body shudder, and a muffled whimper escaped his lips. Seeing this, a blushing Yang Ruoxi quickly opened her mouth and scrambled back about a meter.
Lin Kuang pressed his hands to his mouth, hopping up and down on the floor. It was excruciatingly painful, especially since she had bitten down on instinct with considerable force.
"Hey, you... are you okay?" Yang Ruoxi couldn’t help but ask worriedly, watching him hopping around.
"I’m fine, it just hurts!" Lin Kuang said helplessly, glancing at her flushed face.
"Well, that’s your own fault! Who... who told you to get all handsy with me?" she retorted, her pretty face growing even redder.
"I didn’t mean to! It was just... instinct," Lin Kuang said, feeling wronged. Even he didn’t know why he’d done it. It just felt like what he was supposed to do, but he couldn’t explain it.
"Well, it was my instinct to bite you! Serves you right, you pervert!" Yang Ruoxi snapped, though her face flushed a little again as she said it.
"Fine, whatever. I’m heading out. See you at the little plaza tomorrow morning," Lin Kuang said, turning to leave while still covering his mouth.
Watching his rather pathetic retreat, a blushing Yang Ruoxi suddenly let out a giggle, though what she was thinking was anyone’s guess.
Lin Kuang left Yang Ruoxi’s villa and quickly returned to Liu Shilin’s. It was nearly one in the morning by the time he got back, and the little witch was already asleep. He took a shower and went to his room to rest.
The night passed quietly. The next morning, Lin Kuang woke up at 5:30 a.m. After getting ready, he hurried to the little plaza. He had just finished a few laps when Yang Ruoxi’s figure appeared at 6:10.
Likely still thinking about the previous night, Yang Ruoxi shot him a glare the moment she saw him, making him feel a bit awkward. After Yang Ruoxi finished her Tai Chi practice, Lin Kuang approached her with a broad smile.
"Ruoxi, are you still mad?" he asked shamelessly.
"Hmph! I have nothing to say to you!" she huffed, turning to walk away.
Lin Kuang had no choice but to fall in step beside her. Seeing that she was still angry, he tried again. "Come on, don’t be so petty. Besides, you’re the one who bit me yesterday. How about I bite you back? Then we’ll be even."
Yang Ruoxi stopped in her tracks, her face turning as red as a ripe apple—alluring and delicate. "Lin Kuang, you shameless jerk! In your dreams!" she snapped, baring her pearly whites as if she wanted nothing more than to take another chunk out of him.
Seeing her reaction, Lin Kuang chuckled. "Alright, alright, don’t be angry. I was just teasing you."
"Hmph. You’re just a bad person," she muttered before striding off.
Lin Kuang quickly hurried after her.
Back at her house, Lin Kuang treated her again. He left after they had breakfast.
It was Saturday and Lin Kuang had nothing in particular to do, so he wasn’t in any rush. He strolled leisurely down a tree-lined road, feeling quite content.
As he was walking, his phone suddenly rang. He paused, wondering who would be calling him. He pulled it out and saw the caller ID: Fan Bingbing.
He answered with a smile, "Hey, Bingbing."
"Hey, Lin Kuang! What are you up to?" Fan Bingbing’s cheerful voice sounded from the phone; she seemed to be in a good mood.
"Not much, just taking a walk," he replied with a smile. "You’re calling so early. Is something up?"
"Well, yeah, actually. I was hoping to ask for your help with something, if you have the time?" she asked, her tone a little hesitant.
