Chapter 69: Chapter 69 Adorable Xinxin

"Pah, you narcissist! You’re completely shameless! I’m warning you, if you dare do anything to my sister, I’ll snip it off!" the little Witch glared at Lin Kuang, speaking viciously.

"Oh, really? So that means I can do whatever I want to you, right?" Lin Kuang smiled teasingly at the little Witch, taking a step forward.

The two were so close that their noses were less than an inch apart. Lin Kuang could clearly smell the faint, sweet fragrance wafting from her. Seeing Lin Kuang suddenly so near, the little Witch couldn’t help but recall that amorous night in his room.

In an instant, her pretty face flushed crimson. She took two steps back, her large, shy eyes shooting a fierce glare at Lin Kuang.

"Lin Kuang, you damn bastard! If you dare try anything, just you wait and see how I deal with you!" the little Witch threatened.

However, her threat sounded completely hollow.

Lin Kuang just glanced at her with a smile, paid her no heed, then turned and walked back to his room. At the sight of this, the little Witch stomped her foot in anger, fuming on the spot.

Back in his room, Lin Kuang’s phone suddenly rang. The caller was none other than Yang Ruoxi.

"Hello, Ruoxi," Lin Kuang said with a smile as he answered.

"Hey, Running Boy! My sister made some food and wants to invite you over. If you’re busy, though, don’t worry about it," Yang Ruoxi said cheerfully.

Hearing her voice, an image of Yang Ruoxi’s adorable, smiling face surfaced in Lin Kuang’s mind.

"Of course I’ll come. Why wouldn’t I?" Lin Kuang said with a laugh.

"Hmph, I knew you would. Just remember to be quick, or we won’t wait for you," Yang Ruoxi said, clearly in a good mood.

"Alright, I’ll be right there."

"Mhm, remember to hurry."

With that, Yang Ruoxi hung up.

"Ruoxi, is that any way to talk to your boyfriend?" Yang Ruotong asked, overhearing her sister’s words with a helpless tone.

"Hehe, it’s fine. That guy is thick-skinned," Yang Ruoxi said nonchalantly.

"Alright, you. Just don’t talk like that next time," Yang Ruotong warned her dotingly, then turned and walked into the kitchen.

"Little Witch, tell Shilin I won’t be home for dinner tonight. I have something to take care of," Lin Kuang said with a smile, looking at the little Witch sitting on the sofa.

The little Witch rolled her eyes at him and snorted. "Who cares? Go wherever you want. It’d be better if you didn’t come back at all."

"But what if you miss me?" Lin Kuang teased with a smile before turning and walking out the door, giving her no chance to get angry.

Walking down the tree-lined path outside, Lin Kuang was in a great mood. Although he had left the military, he was very satisfied with this leisurely city life. It was a great feeling, and one he truly enjoyed.

Checking the time, Lin Kuang quickened his pace. After all, it was an invitation from Yang Ruoxi, and he didn’t want to be late.

In less than twenty minutes, he arrived at the Yang family’s villa. Walking into the main hall, he found Yang Ruoxi and the little one, Xinxin, sitting and watching TV.

"Hello, Auntie’s boyfriend," little Xinxin said with the air of an adult upon seeing Lin Kuang enter.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang chuckled and nodded at her. "Hello to you too, little Xinxin."

I’ve actually gotten used to this title. In fact, I quite like it.

Yang Ruoxi shot little Xinxin an exasperated look and vigorously rubbed the child’s delicate face with her hands.

"Little one, I’m warning you again, stop making up titles for people!"

"Auntie, this is child abuse!" Xinxin said, her cheeks puffed up. She looked so adorable it was impossible not to be charmed by her.

"That’s right, I *am* abusing you. What about it?" Yang Ruoxi puffed out her ample chest and said with a mischievous smile.

Xinxin gave her aunt a dissatisfied look before turning her big, pleading eyes toward Lin Kuang.

"Uncle, you need to discipline your woman! A woman should adhere to the ’Three Obediences and Four Virtues’!" Xinxin pouted and grumbled. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Without waiting for Yang Ruoxi to grab her, the little girl scurried into the kitchen, clearly aware of the consequences of her words.

Sure enough, Yang Ruoxi’s pretty face turned beet red as she glared at Xinxin’s small, retreating back.

Lin Kuang, however, just watched as the smile on his face grew wider. Uncle? Tsk, tsk... what an adorable little girl. That’s a pretty good title, actually.

"What are you smiling at? Shut up!" Yang Ruoxi snapped, turning to see the grin on his face.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang tactfully shut his mouth and adopted an expression of perfect innocence, his gaze lowered as if in deep contemplation, the very picture of someone who had done nothing wrong.

Seeing his look, Yang Ruoxi huffed twice but said nothing more.

"Ahem, Ruoxi, may I sit down?" Lin Kuang finally asked with a smile, seeing that her expression had calmed.

"No one told you to stand. You’re the one who didn’t sit, so don’t blame me," Yang Ruoxi huffed, rolling her eyes at him.

Heedless of her tone, Lin Kuang grinned and sat down right next to her. Inhaling the faint, pleasant scent from her body, he felt his good mood improving even more.

Feeling Lin Kuang sit so close to her, Yang Ruoxi’s face inexplicably flushed, and her heart began to pound in her chest. An atmosphere thick with intimacy suddenly arose between them, causing her cheeks to burn even brighter.

Lin Kuang wasn’t oblivious; he felt the strange charge in the air as well.

I don’t think I did anything... Why is she so shy? He was about to ask when Yang Ruotong’s voice called from the kitchen.

"Mr. Lin, Ruoxi, come and eat." Her mature voice carried an indescribable allure that was soothing to the ear.

"Ruoxi, time to eat," Lin Kuang said with a smile, looking at the girl beside him.

"I know! My ears aren’t broken!" she retorted, blushing with a mix of shame and irritation.

Lin Kuang was baffled. What did I do wrong? I don’t think I did anything. He wondered, following Yang Ruoxi into the dining room.

"Please, have a seat. It’s nothing fancy, Mr. Lin, so make yourself at home," Yang Ruotong said with a smile. She was dressed in a set of casual loungewear.

Seeing her dressed like that, her perfect, curvaceous figure on full display... a certain phrase popped into my mind: uniform seduction!
