"I've been here for a little while, but little Xinxin was still sleeping in," Lin Kuang said with a chuckle, holding her close.

"Hehe, I was just tired! I'm going to brush my teeth and wash my face. See you in a bit, Uncle-in-law!" Xinxin said happily. She planted a smacking kiss on Lin Kuang's cheek before turning and running off.

Watching the lovable Xinxin, Lin Kuang felt an indescribable warmth in his heart. It was a wonderful feeling. After having breakfast at Yang Ruotong's and playing with Xinxin for a while, Lin Kuang prepared to leave. As he was leaving, Xinxin blinked her big eyes at him, making him reluctant to go, but in the end, he still left.

"Are you two ready to eat?" Liu Shilin asked, walking to Lin Guo'er's doorway after she had finished preparing lunch.

Just as she finished speaking, Lin Kuang walked out of the room with a grin. Lin Guo'er followed behind him, her cheeks still rosy with a lingering blush. Seeing them, Liu Shilin's face flushed as she shot them an annoyed look.

"Time to eat," she announced, turning away with rosy cheeks.

At this, Lin Kuang chuckled and pulled Lin Guo'er downstairs. After lunch, the three of them had nothing to do and were just chatting idly in the living room.

"Let's go shopping, shall we? It's been so long," Lin Guo'er suggested with a smile, sitting beside Lin Kuang.

"Sure, I should get a few new things. I have nothing to wear," Liu Shilin readily agreed.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang rolled his eyes. Seriously? These two have closets overflowing with clothes, yet they claim to have nothing to wear. Are all women like this?

"What's the matter? You don't seem too keen on going with us," Lin Guo'er said with annoyance, seeing his expression.
