Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 234: The Gathering of the Three Elders
Lin Kuang strolled around with the three women. After they had dinner out, he drove them from the restaurant. By the time the four of them left, it was nearly ten o'clock at night.
Lin Kuang still had to take them back to the company, as both Lin Guo'er's and the Witch's cars were parked there. Once they arrived, the Witch and Lin Guo'er got out. Lin Guo'er drove off, while the Witch followed behind Lin Kuang in her own car. As for Liu Shilin, she had been lured away by the Witch. This was much to the chagrin of Lin Kuang, who had hoped for some alone time with her. Yet, faced with the mischievous Witch, Lin Kuang was completely helpless.
Lin Kuang drove back to the Liu Family residence, since he still needed to transfer True Qi to Yang Ruoxi.
However, as he drove into the Liu Family's estate, he discovered that the two bodyguards had passed out. His expression tightened, and he immediately saw two elders in black robes standing in the courtyard.
Upon seeing them, Lin Kuang's gaze sharpened as a name surfaced in his mind. The Dark Blood Six Elders!
With that thought, Lin Kuang stopped the car, got out, and fixed his gaze on two members of the Dark Blood Six Elders: the second and the fifth.
"Tsk tsk, the Dark Blood Six Elders. I wonder which two of you I have the pleasure of meeting?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile, though his eyes were cold.
Hearing this, the faces of the Second and Fifth Elder changed slightly, as they apparently hadn't expected Lin Kuang to recognize them so quickly.
"The King of the Underworld is truly worthy of his reputation. It seems nothing can be hidden from you," the Second Elder said blandly, his tone dismissive.
"You still haven't answered my question," Lin Kuang said with a smile.
"I am the Second Elder, Wan Mu, and this is the Fifth Elder, Guo Tu," Wan Mu stated indifferently.
"Oh, so it's Ghost Hand Wan Mu and Iron Leg Guo Tu. I've long heard of your esteemed reputations," Lin Kuang said with a grin.
Wan Mu had made his name years ago. His pair of Ghost Hands were phantom-like and incredibly powerful. The same went for Guo Tu, whose Iron Legs were strong and domineering. When the two acted together, their coordination was seamless. This was precisely why the leader of the Dark Blood Six Elders had sent the Second and Fifth Elder. They complemented each other perfectly.
"As expected of the King of the Underworld. It seems you know quite a bit about us Dark Blood Six Elders," Wan Mu said again, this time with a hint of surprise. After all, those titles were from many years ago, and he hadn't expected Lin Kuang to know them.
"You could say that. The Dark Blood Six Elders are famous, after all. How could I not know of you? Also… the one hiding on the roof should be the Third Elder of the Dark Blood Six Elders, Shadowless Qin Yuan, right?" As Lin Kuang spoke, his gaze drifted up to the roof.
As Lin Kuang's words faded, a breeze stirred from nowhere, and the Third Elder, Qin Yuan, appeared beside Wan Mu.
"Hmm? Third Brother, why are you here?" Wan Mu asked, his tone displeased.
Hearing this, Qin Yuan gave a wry smile. "Second Brother, this was the Eldest Brother's order. You know your temper is too volatile; he was worried you might run into trouble."
Hearing Qin Yuan's words, Wan Mu snorted coldly but said no more.
"Tsk tsk, Ghost Hand Wan Mu, Shadowless Qin Yuan, and Iron Leg Guo Tu," Lin Kuang said with a mirthless smile as he looked at the three men before him. "Three of the six elders from Dark Blood have actually come for me. Tsk tsk, you really do think highly of me."
"Indeed. After all, you are the renowned King of the Underworld. Among the rising stars, your reputation is the greatest," the Third Elder, Qin Yuan, said coolly. His gaze, however, sized up Lin Kuang with great interest, as it was his first time meeting him.
"Is that so? You all flatter me. I'm just someone slightly more capable than the average person," Lin Kuang replied.
"Enough, Third Brother! Stop wasting words with him. Just kill him. Anyone who opposes Dark Blood must die!" Wan Mu interjected, his hot-tempered nature always preferring action over talk.
"Did you hear that? My Second Brother said we have to kill you. So, apologies," Qin Yuan said with a smile.
"No problem. Shilin, Witch, just watch from the sidelines. The Dark Blood Six Elders wouldn't stoop to harming two girls," Lin Kuang said lightly, glancing at the anxious expressions on their faces.
"Hmph! Kid, no need to provoke us. We won't lower ourselves to strike a couple of girls. We only want to kill you," Wan Mu declared.
"Alright then, bring it on. I'd really like to test the skills of Ghost Hand, Iron Leg, and Shadowless," Lin Kuang said as he settled into a fighting stance. His expression turned grave. These three had been famous for a long time. They were once incredibly powerful assassins, and their current strength was now truly unfathomable.
"I'll go first. You two stay back!" Wan Mu snorted. His great strength had fostered an arrogant demeanor. Among the Dark Blood Six Elders, only the leader could keep him in line. He listened to no one else.
Hearing this, Qin Yuan and Guo Tu shared a wry smile. They knew Wan Mu's nature. If they interfered, he would surely fly into a rage afterward. It was better to hang back and provide support from the rear. That way, even if Wan Mu was outmatched, they could still jump in to help at a moment's notice. With this thought, the two remained silent, letting Wan Mu charge forward on his own.
"You alone are no match for me," Lin Kuang said with a faint smile.
Lin Kuang wasn't being arrogant. If all three attacked him at once, he couldn't be sure of the outcome, but Wan Mu alone was definitely not his match.
Hearing Lin Kuang's words, Wan Mu's face turned incredibly ugly. To his ears, it was blatant mockery. He had been renowned for so long, and in his eyes, Lin Kuang was just a child. How could he not be furious when that same child claimed he was no match for him?
"King of the Underworld, at the end of the day, you're just a brat. A bit too arrogant for your own good, don't you think?" Wan Mu sneered.
The next moment, without giving Lin Kuang a chance to respond, he charged forward. His palms transformed into a series of afterimages, moving with incredible speed and making it impossible to see where his strikes would land.
Lin Kuang watched Wan Mu with a serious expression. The man truly lived up to the name Ghost Hand. His palm speed was so fast that even Lin Kuang could only barely track them.
However, his opponent's Kung Fu was concentrated in his hands. With Shadowless Qin Yuan and Iron Leg Guo Tu still present, Lin Kuang wouldn't be foolish enough to engage Wan Mu in a head-on clash, especially since he still had to deal with the other two. Therefore, Lin Kuang lashed out with a kick, aiming directly for Wan Mu's lower body.
