Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 205: Extreme Speed Killing
Lin Kuang’s words seemed to calm the Witch somewhat. "Fine. If you want to take me, then take me. I’ll go with you," she said helplessly, beginning to walk forward with hesitation.
Seeing this, Hajin frowned and brandished the Desert Eagle in his hand. "Cut the crap, girl. Hurry up!" he shouted sternly.
Hajin’s words made the Witch’s expression turn ugly, and the fear in her heart grew. She was, after all, afraid he would actually shoot. But remembering what Lin Kuang had said, she forced herself to calm down.
"What’s the rush? I can’t walk very fast! Besides, with all these people squatting everywhere, how am I supposed to move quickly? It’s not like I have wings!" she yelled.
She was telling the truth. Students were squatting all around them, leaving almost no path. The Witch couldn’t have gone faster even if she wanted to.
Hearing this, Hajin frowned and glanced around. It was just as she said—there were too many people surrounding her. He thought for a moment before yelling, "Get the hell out of the way! Clear a path for Liu Shiyu!"
Hajin roared again, firing several more shots into the air with his Desert Eagle.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
The gunshots terrified the students once more. They were just ordinary people. Faced with a situation like this, they were frozen with fear and had no idea what to do. Hajin and his men were holding real guns. One bullet meant death. The students in front of Liu Shiyu scrambled to move, quickly opening a path for her.
Seeing this, the Witch was fuming. She had hoped to use that excuse to stall for time, but now it was useless. A wave of dejection washed over her, and she had no choice but to start walking.
But her mind was racing, praying for Lin Kuang to hurry and get here. She really, really didn’t want to go with Hajin and his men.
As if she knew her prayers were useless, the Witch suddenly "tripped" over a student’s leg and fell right on top of the people crouching on the ground.
"Ouch! That hurts so much!" she groaned, but inwardly, she was ecstatic. This would buy her a little more time. Of course, she had tripped on purpose. Otherwise, how could she have fallen so easily?
Rage flashed in Hajin’s eyes. "You," he said, glancing at one of his men behind him. "Go get her and carry her back!"
"Yes, sir." The man acknowledged the order and strode toward the Witch. He bent down, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and lifted her up.
The Witch hadn’t expected them to resort to this, and it caught her completely off guard. At this rate, I’m definitely going to be taken away! I was trying to stall for more time!
With that thought, she started to struggle, thrashing and pounding on the man’s body. "Put me down, you bastard! Let go of me! Put me down!" she screamed.
Her loud protests had no effect. The man holding her simply ignored her.
Now the Witch was truly out of options. She had tried every trick she could think of to no avail. All she could do was resign herself to fate.
You bastard, why aren’t you here yet?! I’ve stalled for so long! If you don’t show up soon, they’re really going to take me! she thought anxiously, cursing him repeatedly in her mind.
Just then, a piercing screech of brakes cut through the air, followed by the smell of burning rubber, as if the tires were about to catch fire.
The moment the grating sound erupted, Hajin’s five men and the Witch all whipped their heads toward the source of the noise. A black Mercedes appeared in their line of sight, leaving long, black skid marks in its wake. The burnt smell was coming from its tires.
Seeing the Mercedes, a charming smile blossomed on the Witch’s face. That was Liu Shilin’s car! And if the car was here, then Lin Kuang must be here, too!
At this thought, the Witch’s spirits soared. She believed that as long as Lin Kuang had arrived, she was saved.
At that moment, the Mercedes door flew open, and Lin Kuang stood up inside the vehicle. In his hand, a Desert Eagle was aimed at the man holding the Witch.
BANG! BANG!
Two sharp gunshots rang out. The man holding the Witch was shot through both shoulders.
With his shoulders crippled, his arms instantly went limp, and the Witch dropped straight to the ground.
"Ouch, that hurts like hell! That bastard! So ruthless! It hurts so much!" the Witch cried out, her face flushing red as she lay on the ground. She had landed chest-first, and it felt as if her large breasts were about to explode. The sensation was incredibly uncomfortable, and she groaned in pain.
Lin Kuang had no time to worry about the Witch. His goal was to take down Hajin and his men. He hadn’t killed the first man outright because he was worried about complications if the police showed up later. After all, killing someone in broad daylight, in front of such a large crowd, would be impossible to explain. More importantly, Lin Kuang didn’t want to give anyone an excuse to come after him.
Lin Kuang fired again—two more shots that pierced the shoulders of another man. In the next instant, his Desert Eagle spat out four more bullets in a flash, crippling the shoulders of two more men.
Just then, the Mercedes screeched to a halt at the end of the long skid marks. The car had been moving so fast and stopped so abruptly that its momentum was immense. A normal person would have been thrown from the vehicle, but Lin Kuang was no ordinary person.
He stomped hard on the floor of the car, using the vehicle’s powerful forward momentum to launch himself into the air. While airborne, Lin Kuang made his next move. He threw his Desert Eagle, and it flew from his hand, smashing hard against the last man’s head.
BANG!
The man was knocked out cold. This was only because Lin Kuang had controlled his strength perfectly. Otherwise, the man’s head would have exploded. It was a clear demonstration of how effortlessly Lin Kuang could control his power.
Everything happened in the blink of an eye, so fast it defied everyone’s imagination. Even Hajin hadn’t anticipated Lin Kuang to be so formidable.
After a brief moment of shock, Hajin raised his hand and opened fire with his Desert Eagle.
BANG! BANG!
CLICK!
After two shots, the gun was empty.
