Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!-Chapter 930: Like Being Under Her Thumb
Thomas Quincy caught a whiff of an unusual fragrance; it was the scent of body wash.
He also felt the hand covering his eyes was very soft, as if it had no bones, making his mind wander.
Unknowingly, he found himself feeling something unusual in his body, as if this woman had kindled a fire in him.
How could this be?
Thomas was shocked beyond words.
Clearly, he harbored feelings for Nancy Nash, so how could he react to a stranger?
Was there something wrong somewhere?
Thomas felt extremely shocked; he couldn’t believe this result and wanted to probe further.
Thus, he grabbed Clara Thornton’s hand, pulling it away, and his vision cleared.
He also clearly saw the situation in front of him; Clara was holding onto a towel that was about to slip off.
Looking at this alluring scene, his Adam’s apple bobbed.
It seemed it wasn’t an illusion; he genuinely reacted to Clara Thornton. Why was this happening? Wasn’t he manipulated into marrying her?
Thomas was influenced by the illusion of a passionate curse, causing some discrepancies in his memory, especially concerning the person he liked.
Now, in his subconscious, Clara had schemed and bewitched him, leading to their marriage, while his true love was Nancy Nash.
But his various reactions to Clara left him puzzled, as if everything was strange.
Thomas pressed Clara onto the bed and asked, "Did you do something to me?"
Clara looked baffled and sneered, "What could I possibly do to you? It’s more like someone did something to you; you should be careful."
"Are you saying Nancy? She and I are truly in love; it’s all because of you..."
Hearing this, Clara couldn’t help but roll her eyes.
Thomas was at it again.
Because of that ridiculous curse on him, he had been saying this every day, and Clara’s ears were calloused from hearing it.
She was certain Thomas didn’t love Nancy Nash, because when they got married, she had already asked him, and he said he didn’t need to be responsible.
But Thomas told her he didn’t like Nancy Nash, so she boldly married him.
Not sure what she thought of, Clara’s eyes twinkled mischievously, and she suddenly encircled his neck with her hands.
"Really? You like Nancy Nash? So, do you think liking Nancy means you won’t do anything behind her back to betray her?"
"What are you trying to do?" Thomas looked wary.
He felt himself gradually losing control and wanted to get up, but Clara held him down.
She tilted her head up and kissed the corner of his mouth, Thomas’s pupils shrank, and his blood raced.
At this point, he was absolutely certain that Clara Thornton had a profound effect on him, and he was very responsive to her physically.
Under Clara’s guidance, Thomas’s internal struggle quickly dissolved, and eventually, he didn’t even know how he ended up rolling with her.
When it was all over, Thomas felt endless regret in his heart as he got up to dress.
Clara looked at the scratches on his body and couldn’t help but cover her mouth and laugh.
Hearing her laughter, Thomas’s face darkened. He turned to Clara and said, "Don’t tell Nancy Nash, or else..."
"Or else what?"
Thomas gritted his teeth, but in the end, said nothing, quickly leaving the room.
After walking for a while, he suddenly remembered that he seemed to have gone to talk to Clara about a divorce, so how did he end up in bed with her?
And then, the divorce wasn’t discussed; instead, it seemed he was somehow manipulated.
He sighed heavily, his expression somewhat annoyed.
