Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!-Chapter 919: The Show Has Begun
Giselle Keating hid for two days, then seized the opportunity and, while the maid went to the bathroom, placed the poison Mason Langley gave her into the tea the maid was brewing.
She hid in the corner, watching as the maid took the tea to the room for Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner, then she smirked.
Soon, Eleanor and Alaric were both dead.
Giselle recalled competing with Eleanor for Alaric back then, almost becoming Alaric’s wife herself.
It all seemed like a fleeting dream.
In her heart, she held a grudge against Eleanor for taking her man.
After today, she would finally have her revenge, Giselle wanted to laugh out loud.
But she couldn’t let herself get carried away as things hadn’t completely succeeded yet.
Giselle kept her ears sharp, listening intently for movements upstairs.
Soon, there was a sound of breaking glass from upstairs, followed by the maid’s heart-wrenching scream, "Miss, sir, what’s happened to you? Someone, come quick!"
Giselle now laughed out loud.
She had succeeded! She finally succeeded!
Next awaited the painful days for Eleanor and Alaric, as Giselle packed up her things and immediately left the villa.
She called Mason Langley, "Hey, I’ve done what you asked, come pick me up quickly."
"Alright, hold on," came the response.
At the villa upstairs, in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Eleanor and Alaric were standing there, watching Giselle sneakily escaping.
The show had already begun. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Behind them, a bodyguard said, "After Giselle escaped, she called Mason Langley. We’ve traced the call’s location source and narrowed it down to a specific range. We just need one more search to pinpoint the final location."
Eleanor’s eyes flickered with a dark light, "As long as Giselle contacts Mason again, we’ll be able to locate him exactly."
Alaric pondered, his face showing a tinge of coldness.
"I’ll have Xavier Keating strengthen the Keating Family’s guard. As long as Giselle can’t escape, she will definitely try to contact Mason again."
Meanwhile, at Mason Langley’s residence.
He hung up the phone, a contemplative look on his face.
An assistant beside him asked, "Should we bring Miss Keating back here?"
Mason’s eyes shifted, raising his hand to stop him.
"Wait a moment."
He couldn’t shake the feeling that things were proceeding too smoothly; Eleanor and Alaric were no ordinary people, how could Giselle have manipulated them so easily?
Even though he had instructed Giselle to take action, he had anticipated she might fail a few times. Now that she succeeded on her first attempt, it felt somewhat unreal.
He feared it was a trap and felt the need to wait a bit longer.
If nothing unusual happened in a few days, then he could proceed to the next step.
As for Giselle, if she was caught then so be it—she was just a pawn anyway, her life or death had nothing to do with him.
Since Giselle left, he had already moved to two different places. Even if she revealed his whereabouts, there was nothing to worry about.
In terms of hiding himself, Mason was a master. Naturally cautious, in truth Giselle didn’t really know any of his secrets.
So Mason could abandon her at any time.
...
Giselle found herself unable to escape the Keating Family estate.
Panic-stricken, she had no choice but to return to Eleanor’s villa.
Giselle took out her phone and dialed Mason’s number.
He quickly answered, "What is it?"
"Brother Langley, where are your people? I, I can’t escape, their guards are too tight."
Mason felt Giselle was a nuisance and certainly didn’t want to waste resources on her now.
Impatiently, he said, "Just stay put. If you’re not dead, contact me once things have settled down."
After saying that, Mason directly hung up the phone.
The call with Giselle lasted only a few minutes, but the coordinates were successfully obtained.
Mason never expected that despite his confidence, Eleanor and Alaric had managed to pinpoint his location step by step.
Now, it was just a matter of final confirmation, after which he would be captured, putting an end to future concerns.
