Giselle Keating quickly received something that Mason Langley had secretly sent to her, delivered quietly by a servant.

But now she and Wendy Warren were trapped in the villa, and she had no idea how to get out. It seemed challenging to make a move against Alaric Faulkner.

In the end, Giselle made a bold decision to use Wendy Warren.

Giselle offered Wendy some desserts, pretending to comfort her, telling her not to worry.

In reality, the dessert was tampered with, and something would happen to her soon.

When the chaos ensued and a lot of people came over, Giselle planned to seize the opportunity to escape.

Once she escaped this villa, she would quietly sneak into Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner’s villa, and then she could make her move.

Thinking about her plan, Giselle’s lips curved into a slight smile, "Wendy, rest assured."

She watched Wendy consume the dessert, her smile mocking.

With a loud crash, Wendy’s eyes closed, and she fell into a deep unconsciousness. Giselle stepped forward to check on her condition, then stood up and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Something’s wrong, Miss Warren is in trouble."

The villa quickly erupted into commotion, and Giselle swiftly left the room, finding a good place to hide.

Soon, everyone came rushing to rescue Wendy.

Even Xavier Keating and others were alarmed and came to check on her condition.

The doctor shook his head at Xavier Keating, "It seems she was poisoned by something and must be taken to the hospital for a gastric lavage immediately."

Xavier’s expression darkened, and he waved his hand, saying, "Alright, take her away."

Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner stood silently by his side.

Eleanor’s eyes shifted slightly as she said, "Brother, why was she suddenly poisoned?"

Xavier answered his own question, "Someone must have drugged her here, trying to silence her. We must thoroughly investigate everyone in this villa."

By then, Giselle had already sneaked out. She had to make use of Eleanor and Alaric’s absence to head to their villa.

As she left, she heard Xavier’s words, and a triumphant smile appeared on her face.

Fortunately, her quick thinking had prepared her, or else they would have suspected her.

Someone came in to report, "Giselle has already hidden in Miss Sterling’s villa."

Eleanor smirked coldly, "Giselle thought her plan succeeded, but she didn’t expect she was within our design."

Xavier looked at Alaric and said, "The next step is up to you."

Alaric smiled slightly, looked at Eleanor, and asked, "If I do well, is there a reward?"

Hearing him ask for a reward before he even completed the task, Eleanor couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

"No reward."

Alaric sighed in mock grievance, "I thought I’d have some motivation, but now it’s gone."

Eleanor gritted her teeth. Why did she feel like she was being emotionally blackmailed?

If he failed, would he blame her for not fulfilling his request?

To ensure Alaric put his best effort into the task, she finally said, "Fine, stop joking around. If you handle this matter well and expose Mason Langley, I’ll agree to one thing for you."

Alaric’s eyes lit up as he nodded in satisfaction.
