The white Maybach had just driven not far from the Morgan’s residence when a black sedan approached head-on, moving into the lane Finn was driving on. He quickly stepped on the brakes.

Both cars came to a halt almost simultaneously, their hoods facing each other, and only half a meter apart.

Hailey anxiously turned to look at Finn, who remained calm, then they saw the driver’s side door open.

Zachary Merce got out of the car wearing simple clothes, with a white flower pinned to his chest.
