Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations-Chapter 1233: Wishing You Happiness
"Have you been comfortable staying here lately?" Finn Morgan asked with concern, "If you ever want to leave, be sure to tell me."
"It’s been great, playing chess with Mom every day, doing prenatal education for two hours, very routine!"
Hailey Hale happily linked arms with him, "Have you been busy with work lately? Is everything going smoothly?"
"A bit busy, but everything’s fine." Finn Morgan never shared his work matters with her. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
All the busyness and fatigue, he bore them himself.
"Take good care of yourself, you’re the pillar of the family." Hailey turned her gaze to his handsome face, "Honey, I’ve noticed you’re getting more handsome!"
Hearing this, Finn Morgan couldn’t help but gently tap her nose, "Hailey, you’ve really changed."
"Really?" she was curious, "Tell me, how have I changed?"
"You’ve become more gentle."
"Hehe."
He said, "You have an aura of maternal radiance now, no longer the girl who liked dreadlocks and wore alternative styles."
As he spoke, Finn Morgan couldn’t help but recall their first meeting.
She barged into the CEO’s office for Mia Lane, and sat in Justin Kingston’s chair with her legs up on the desk.
Her look that day, with her arms crossed, made her look like a little gangster.
During this time, Hailey had experienced family upheaval, and she’d become much more low-key.
She’d also gained a touch of insight into life.
"People do change, right?" Hailey pondered, "We all have to grow."
Finn Morgan patted her shoulder.
"Honey, I heard from Mia Lane that Dad’s sentence can be reduced," Hailey suddenly asked, "But by how many years? Can you ask CEO Kingston for specifics?"
"I hadn’t heard about that." Finn Morgan nodded, "Of course, I’ll ask first thing tomorrow."
"I just hope time can pass quickly," she said, looking at the bright moon, "Even if I age ten years in a flash, I wouldn’t mind."
Finn Morgan knew she eagerly anticipated the day her father-in-law would be released.
"Although Dad’s in prison, he’s always received special care, so don’t worry too much. I’m sure he’s grown accustomed by now."
"Hmm." Deep inside, Hailey was very grateful to Justin Kingston, feeling her gratitude couldn’t be repaid.
"Oh, I went to see Mom after work today," Finn said, referring to Paige.
Hailey turned her gaze, "I’d like to go home for a few days, would that be okay?"
"Of course." He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, lovingly saying, "Then I’ll head over there after work. Now that Jocelyn and Dr. Shelby are together, they’ll surely visit often, it’ll be lively."
Hailey was grateful for his understanding, looking at him with eyes full of love.
"By the way, Hailey, have you thought of a name for the baby?"
"Honey, do you prefer a boy or a girl?"
"As long as it’s your child, I like them all!" Finn Morgan told her, "I’ve thought of a few names amidst the busyness these days."
"What are they? Tell me?"
They walked against the wind, under the moonlight, chatting about everything regarding the child... their silhouettes exuded warmth.
The night grew deeper.
Just as Jasmine was anxiously pacing, ready to go upstairs, Jocelyn Morgan and Ian Shelby appeared at the staircase corner.
They came down.
"Uncle, Aunt." Ian Shelby politely said, with Jocelyn Morgan’s autographed book in his hand, "I’m heading off, I’ll visit again when I’m free."
"Oh, sure." Jasmine quickly snapped back to reality, finally relaxing her worried mind.
Everett Morgan also stood, "Come and visit whenever you have time."
"Okay."
After heading downstairs, Ian Shelby courteously bowed to them, then gently ruffled Jocelyn Morgan’s hair, "I’m off, no need to see me out."
"Be safe on the road!" Her eyes were full of admiration.
"You should get some rest early too." Ian Shelby said warmly, "I’ll take you for a run at six tomorrow morning." With that, he exited the living room.
