Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 809 - 352: Sea of Moisture Current Situation (Part 3)
A conical, blue and white balloon appeared behind them at some point. Various types of machinery floated around, mounted underneath it.
Soon, an airship was assembled right before their eyes and then floated into the sky.
It stopped at about two to three hundred meters high, following their team forward and providing a view for everyone below.
"Even brought an airship?" Jason was somewhat surprised.
At this moment, Alka turned to Simon next to him and asked, "Can you tell what kind of machinery they brought with them?"
Simon nodded. As a member of the Holy Machine Church, he certainly knew what those things were.
"Did you see those three things with very obvious long, thick barrels? They are powerful long-range artillery weapons. However, they seem to be of a newer model, likely recently improved, but essentially unchanged.
Those platforms trailing behind the speedboats are actually armed mobile platforms. They can quickly establish a simple fortress on the spot.
Besides some standard weapons, most of what they brought are personal constructs of these church crew members. These account for the majority, but I can't really identify them."
Hearing Simon's words, Alka nodded.
Chadite frowned and said, "Bringing so many weapons suggests that this matter won't be easy to resolve."
Alka also reminded, "And this is just the first batch of vanguard, mainly for rapid support. More main troops are still behind."
Everyone then remembered this, nodded in astonishment.
Evidently, the situation this time was not going to be easily settled.
And in this true war, they might not play a significant role.
Just as they were chatting, an alarm went off above.
"Detected Hell disturbances, 1.3 kilometers to the side and ahead."
Upon hearing this, Alka and the others immediately became alert, and the fleet quickly changed course, heading to the other direction.
Straight towards the place where the disturbance was detected.
"It seems their target is clear," Alka said, watching the scene, and then the ship they were on followed.
If the main objective was rapid support of the Land of Fragrance, turning to handle the Hell disturbance on the other side was clearly not a wise choice.
Alka wasn't sure about the Holy Mother Church, but if the Holy Machine Church was willing to send so many people to support, it was obviously due to the influence of the Gate of Hell here.
Alka suddenly remembered the deformed fish he had seen on the coast.
Those fish didn't just die when killed; Julia had studied those corpses.
These fish were altered in form because they ate the meat of those monsters, further influenced by the energy waves transmitted from the Sea of Moisture.
Terrifyingly, the Sea of Moisture is mobile, carrying the corpses of monsters and the disturbances of Hell, spreading them throughout this vast sea area.
This is evidently very deadly.
Thinking this way, for the two churches, the priority must be to eliminate anything that can transmit Hell disturbances and the corresponding monsters.
The entire fleet's speed increased, and soon they saw a huge teleportation gate up ahead, standing seven or eight meters tall.
Inside the teleportation gate was a faint orange-red and yellow spiral.
A whiff of sulfur drifted over.
Evidently, this smell was deeply related to the demons of Hell.
Various demons emerged from beneath the teleportation gate. Most of the demons had red skin, or rather, something more like muscle.
Sharp claws and teeth, strange horns.
The forms of these various demons were diverse, yet they weren't idle but instead were clashing with the undead monsters rushing out from the Life and Death Boundary.
The number of these demons was not small.
But clearly, the undead monsters from the Life and Death Boundary were more numerous.
In some respects, the two sides were at a deadlock.
However, the number of demons that the teleportation gate could transmit seemed limited, visibly lessening.
Yet, the number of undead surging from the Life and Death Boundary was increasing, seemingly endless.
Seeing such a situation.
The Knights of the two churches, being very sensible, immediately gathered the team and turned away.
They were at a relatively far position, not alarming either side, who were already engaged in a fierce battle.
The team turned direction, sped up, and headed straight towards the direction of the Land of Fragrance.
Alka and the others also saw the battle in that area.
The number of undead monsters from the Life and Death Boundary was much more than they had previously encountered at the boundary of the Emerald Fortress.
