Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 586 - 278: Destiny Voyage_2
So back then, Alka didn’t intend to carefully receive all of these memories; instead, he just skimmed through them and stored them away to access when needed.
Skimming through them gave him a basic impression of some memory fragments.
As a Dream Realm creature who had lived for thousands of years, naturally he had visited the Real World many times, and knew many areas within the Dream World.
The Dream World and the Real World had certain correspondences.
In particular, peculiar regions would affect the other side.
For example, in the Dream World, if there was a wonderous zone, then the corresponding place in reality would also have special phenomena.
Or other environmental features.
Plus, in order to gain power and Dream Realm privileges, Mirmi had always been searching for fragments of the Divine.
So, he was constantly investigating places where Divines had fallen or where their ruinous aura lingered.
This made him aware of many peculiar regions.
Later, after being influenced and corrupted by Klian, he sowed seeds of disaster.
Even in those fragmented memories, Alka found many intriguing places.
But from those broken recollections it could be seen that most locations were not ones they could currently reach, or dare to touch.
Yet some were always safe.
Yesterday, when he was receiving this information, he also skimmed it and remembered such a region existed.
"...Found it."
An island Mirmi once visited and learned about.
The Trial Island.
Perhaps it was a place used by some ancient great power to select Warriors, with remnants of various Divines’ Divine Power left behind.
A truly peculiar island.
So, it left a rather interesting impression in his mind.
It wasn’t very far.
Conservative estimate: thirty to sixty days and nights away.
Tolerable.
Comparing the rough location in the Dream Realm, Alka began to fine-tune the direction and range.
From memory, this island resembled Landmark Island, but did not form an island chain. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Before Mirmi was controlled, he’d gone to that island and, at the time, it was still unclaimed.
And not dangerous.
A decent destination.
The main issue was that Mirmi had sensed many lingering auras there.
The remnants of Divine aura meant there was more than one Treasure on that island.
For Mirmi, perhaps it was an interesting and safe island, but for Alka and the others, it still carried some degree of danger.
But manageable.
He made a simple adjustment to the direction, then picked up the positioning Compass he’d bought on the island.
And began to take the helm himself.
"Got a target?"
Watching Alka at the helm, Chadite asked from not far away.
Alka nodded and replied, "A place where we might directly get two Treasures—perfect for equipping Juanlu and Matilda."
After confirming the direction.
He let the Sound of Dawn enter autopilot mode.
...
Is sailing on the Endless Sea boring?
Alka asked Jason this question.
Jason was the person most afraid of boring voyages.
So how did Jason answer?
"I... cough, cough, ugh!"
Before he could get the words out, he started coughing violently—spitting out a mouthful of seawater.
At this moment, the Sound of Dawn was sailing through an unknown patch of sea.
It was nighttime.
The shining stars above cast their brilliance, so that the whole night wasn’t truly dark.
Bathed in starlight,
The surrounding sea was far from calm.
Again and again, jets of water shot skyward from the surface.
These water pillars varied in size.
The small ones were only as thick as a thumb, while the big ones could flip the Sound of Dawn over entirely.
They erupted randomly from the surface, shooting upward.
Sailing through these waters, the Sound of Dawn inevitably got caught up in the chaos.
Jason, who had just spit out a huge mouthful of seawater and hadn’t even had time to catch his breath, was then struck by a human-head–thick water jet.
The jet was lightning fast.
In a blink, it smacked Jason right in the back.
He had barely managed to block a side blast, but couldn’t guard his rear at all.
This water jet sent him flying.
In midair, a rope intercepted him, binding him up.
"Still think it’s boring, Jason?"
"Cough, cough, cough... If you had any conscience, you’d be doing something about this instead of making snarky comments."
Trussed up in midair, Jason coughed and ranted.
Though his strength had reached the Third Stage, the Crystal Dragon was apparently in a key phase of awakening.
Which left him weak and sickly-looking.
This also made his reactions slower, so the surprise water jets hit him more often.
The rest of the crew had no trouble dodging them.
Even if hit, they wouldn’t be as wretched as Jason.
After dodging a jet with a roll, Alka smiled at Jason.
Then with a casual wave, a pink mist drifted out—this was actually Alka’s Magic Power.
Along the Sound of Dawn’s edges, Mirrors emerged one after another, encasing the whole ship.
The mirrors glimmered with a faint pink hue.
Any water jet that struck the mirrors was instantly reflected out from the opposite side.
In a flash, all the jets that had been hitting the ship vanished.
These jets weren’t Magic attacks, just pure seawater condensed together.
Jason was also lowered from the rope.
"Damn it, why didn’t you do that sooner?"
Lying on the deck, Jason gasped, coughing as he spoke.
