Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 575 - 275: Incomprehensible Exaggerated Harvest
Alka awakened from his Dream Bubble, opening his eyes to look around.
At this moment, the Dreamcatcher Crystal Ball was already floating at his chest. Inside the transparent Crystal Ball, he could see it was completely filled with a pink substance.
Alka immediately released what was encased within the Crystal Ball.
A gigantic pink cocoon appeared in Alka’s Dream Realm.
Gazing at the cocoon before him, Alka was filled with anticipation. What kind of spoils will it bring me?
Alka was certainly full of anticipation for this harvest.
It was the spoils from a massive dream creature of unknown power.
With the help of a being akin to a Dream Realm God and the bestowed power of the Stone Mother, it had been enveloped and was now being digested.
How could such spoils not captivate me? Just thinking about it makes me tremble with excitement!
Alka placed the Dreamcatcher Crystal Ball around the cocoon to accelerate its digestion. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
Alka himself then rested in the Dream World. He was too tired and needed a break to gather enough energy to aid the digestion.
He didn’t know how long he rested, for at that moment he couldn’t leave his Dream Realm.
When he awoke, Alka began to accelerate its digestion.
He transformed the Magic Power in his body into linking threads, connecting to the cocoon through the Dream Catcher and continuously supplying it with Magic Power.
Then Alka turned to look behind him at the huge, transparent crystal boulder floating in the Dream World.
At this moment, the Crystal Stone was completely filled with gold and silver Energy. Alka had no choice but to alter the entire Crystal Stone.
A massive, smooth Crystal Pillar shot up towards the sky, its other end touching the very top of the Dream Realm.
As the Crystal Stone instantly expanded, the gold and silver Energy within condensed, reforming into a slender spiral that coiled upwards.
Looking at the Energy within, Alka finally smiled. "This Energy," he murmured, "is more than enough to forcibly open a bi-directional gate."
Whether it’s dragging an enemy’s location, or even the enemy itself, into the Dream Realm, or manifesting the weapons I’ve constructed in the Dream World into reality—this Energy can accomplish it all. Of course, unless I want to create some truly massive entities, small items and objects are no longer a problem. However, this Energy is ultimately a consumable. Saving it for the most critical moment is the best choice. Just like now... if I’d had this much Energy earlier, I would have forcibly opened a gate to reality and slipped out long ago.
Having settled matters related to the Dream Realm, Alka sat there quietly, and various books appeared in his hands.
These were all books Alka had memorized by rote in Lucilia’s dream library.
This way, he could reproduce these books in his own Dream Realm and then use them.
He continued to supply Magic Power. When tired, he would rest in his dream to quickly recover his mental strength; when agitated, he would flip through those books to read and learn.
It can’t be helped, he mused. Aside from this, there’s little else I can do.
His Magic Power was almost entirely consumed by the cocoon, leaving him unable to significantly alter even his own Dream Realm. He could only pull books from his memory to peruse.
Alka reckoned he had been in there for about seven or eight days and nights.
He had been in the Dream Realm for what felt like too long, yet the cocoon before him seemed to be endlessly digesting. However, Alka knew it was nearly finished.
「After another day and night」
Suddenly, the cocoon’s demand for Magic Power ceased; it no longer required any supply.
Sensing this change, Alka’s breathing involuntarily grew heavier.
This means the contents of the cocoon are about to emerge! His breath hitched. So, this is it?
Taking a deep breath, he controlled the Dreamcatcher Crystal Ball to quickly retract the dream fog encasing the cocoon.
Once the fog was fully reclaimed, the contents were finally revealed.
A shattered fragment, like a piece of broken crystal, floated in mid-air, gleaming with an inner light. Three clusters of Energy slowly revolved around it.
These are the spoils? Alka thought, a little underwhelmed. This is far more simplistic than I imagined. And judging by their appearance, I can’t tell what these things are at all.
The fragment, in particular, seemed to be beckoning him. It’s drawing me closer... urging me to make contact.
He gently reached out and touched one of the Energy clusters.
As the cluster of Energy surged into his hand, Alka immediately began to convulse and tremble. His eyes rolled back as he writhed madly, then he collapsed to the ground in the Dream Realm.
And the entire Dream World began to change.
His Dream Bubble started to expand infinitely, continuously pushing outward, growing larger and larger.
It finally stopped when his Dream Bubble had expanded to ten times its previous size.
This made his Dream Bubble exceptionally conspicuous in the entire Dream World.
His Dream Bubble was now so large it seemed somewhat out of place.
Only then did Alka regain consciousness.
He came to, gasping frantically and clutching his chest.
The sudden influx of Energy had been too immense for him to withstand.
Fortunately, this is within the Dream Realm, he thought with relief. If this had happened in reality, I would definitely have suffered severe harm—I might even have exploded on the spot.
