Chapter 677: Chapter 675 VIP Service (Part 1)

Before going to bed, Le Tong instructed that since there would be a whole day to stroll around the Kite Festival tomorrow, there was no rush to leave early in the morning, and the whole family could sleep until they naturally woke up.

When Le Tong said naturally wake up, it meant that she wouldn’t intentionally go and wake any of the children, leaving them to wake up on their own. After finishing her instructions, everyone went back to their rooms to rest.

This suite had three rooms: Le Tong and Ji Rui slept in one, the brothers Da Bao and Little Treasure slept in another, and Nuonuo, of course, slept alone in one room.

However, Da Bao, as the older brother, was so attentive that it was comparable to parents taking care of a newborn baby. Even though Nuonuo repeatedly emphasized that she could walk, after she limped a few steps, he couldn’t help but rush over to pick her up and carried her directly back to the bedroom.

After placing Nuonuo on the bed and helping her lie down, covering her with the blanket, and dimming the bedside lamp, Da Bao still had no intention of leaving. He sat naturally on the small sofa opposite the bed with an iPad, browsing the web.

Nuonuo, bundled up tightly in the blanket except for her head, blinked her dark, shiny eyes, "Brother, you’ve carried me for half the day, you must be tired, go back to your room and rest!"

Da Bao raised his eyelids and glanced at her, "Go to sleep, brother will head back to sleep once you’re asleep."

Implicitly, he meant that if she wanted him to go to sleep early, she should obediently fall asleep instead of keeping her eyes wide open and nagging.

Nuonuo responded with an "Oh," and obediently closed her eyes.

But not long after closing her eyes, she reopened them.

"Brother, I can’t fall asleep!"

Her bodily functions should have been in a state of exhaustion, as her muscles were sore all over, but surprisingly, her mind was unusually alert.

During the short time her eyes were closed, images of being carried around by her brother in the afternoon kept flashing through her mind.

Although it seemed like Da Bao had his head down focusing on the internet, he was like a radar detector; almost the moment she opened her eyes, his gaze shifted from the screen to her face.

"What’s wrong? Foot pain? Can’t sleep?"

Before Nuonuo could react, Da Bao, who had been lounging lazily on the sofa, drifted over, resting a hand on the bed, leaning over with concern and looking at her.

Nuonuo felt as if her brother was overreacting and wanted to deny having foot pain, but she suddenly remembered something.

"Brother, am I heavy now?"

Without getting an answer, Da Bao turned on the light, lifted the blanket, and checked on her foot.

"You’re not heavy!"

If judged solely by weight, for a tall and sturdy person like Da Bao, Nuonuo’s weight indeed wasn’t a burden.

But during the hike, suddenly having to carry such weight was a different story.

Nuonuo looked down at him, "Brother, my foot doesn’t hurt!" Before entering the bedroom, Da Bao had helped Nuonuo change the dressing.

"Even though I’m not that heavy, you carried me for so long, you must be really tired, right?"

While speaking, Nuonuo suddenly turned over and knelt, placing her hands on Da Bao’s back, gently massaging him. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

"Brother, lie down, let me give you a massage."

Da Bao was slightly surprised, turning his head to stare at Nuonuo.

It was always natural for him as an older brother to take care of and look after his sister.

But Nuonuo, though she loved him too, rarely took the initiative to do something for him like this.

It seemed the little girl had truly grown up and learnt to care for others.

"You’re the patient, how can brother let you serve? Just sleep well, I’ll let Little Treasure help me when I go back."

Despite feeling touched, Da Bao couldn’t bear to let the injured Nuonuo care for him.

Usually, Nuonuo would listen to Da Bao, but this time she was persistent.

"Brother, do you think my massage skills aren’t as good as Little Treasure’s?"

Whoa! This little girl seemed determined to give him a massage, even resorting to fabricating accusations.

"Little Treasure is all clumsy and has no skills whatsoever. Alright, since you insist on giving me a VIP service, I’ll gladly accept."

Seeing the little girl full of anticipation and raring to go, Da Bao couldn’t bear to refuse her goodwill and obediently lay down, enjoying the non-professional yet exclusive massage from Nuonuo.

Nuonuo knelt beside Da Bao, letting her arms hang naturally as she placed her hands flat on his shoulders. Her fingers were long, with just the right pressure on his muscles. Although she merely massaged from his shoulders down to his lower back, and then from his thighs to his ankles, compared to a professional therapist, there was of course no technique or skill to her touch. But Da Bao felt an incomparable sense of enjoyment.

Lying there, resting on his arms, he indulged in her simple massage while listening to her soft voice recounting little anecdotes. In that moment, he felt like the happiest person in the world.

Whether it was because his body was too tired or Nuonuo’s massage was too comfortable, or maybe it was the few hypnotic powers of her gentle voice, he, who had initially not felt sleepy, gradually began to imagine himself lying under the warm spring sun. Surrounded by a tranquil and warm atmosphere, he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Nuonuo, while speaking, noticed that the brother who had been responding suddenly stopped making any noise. As she leaned over to take a look, she found that he had fallen asleep. Nuonuo wasn’t surprised, nor did she intend to wake him up. After all, the bed was large, and there were two blankets on it. She unfolded one and covered Da Bao, lay beside him, closed her eyes, and quickly fell into dreamland too.

When Da Bao woke up, he lay on his back, squinting slightly at the ceiling, taking a while to adjust to the dim environment.

There was a faint familiar scent in the air, but he could be sure that it wasn’t him, nor was it Little Treasure. It belonged to Nuonuo.

It was a fragrance entirely different from what he and Little Treasure carried; in fact, this wasn’t the first time Da Bao had noticed this.

Even though the three siblings used the same shower gel and shampoo, on Nuonuo, it became a lot more elegant and enchanting. Probably, it was because a girl’s secretions differ from a boy’s, causing the scents of the products and her natural aroma to chemically combine to produce this elegant yet captivating fragrance.

As Da Bao’s eyes gradually adjusted, he turned his head towards the source of the fragrance, and indeed, he saw Nuonuo lying on her side, facing him, sleeping soundly.

Her long black hair cascaded over the pillow, with a few strands even trailing around his neck.

Da Bao gently picked up the strands that clung to his skin, brought them to his nose, and took a deep breath.

The once faint scent now filled his nose completely.
